<2025/03/25 Matsuya Ginza on Ginza Street> Ladies and gentlemen. How are you? The other day, I watched a revival screening of "Love Letter", which is a masterpiece starring Miho Nakayama. The world view of Shunji Iwai's work was very pleasant, and I wanted to see this work too, but it was good. This work in which Miho, who died when he was young, was trapped in a beautiful video. I liked it very much. This story began with a single letter, but letters have a taste because there is a time difference until they reach the other party, and there is a feeling of excitement when posting to the post. Now that e-mail and LINE have become mainstream, it may be a feeling that it is gradually disappearing. By the way, what I wanted to introduce today was "Entyre postcard from 100 years ago in Matsuya Ginza". This year, the department store in Matsuya Ginza will celebrate its 100th anniversary on May 1st, and it is a postcard made at that time.

I walked over Tokyo Kosoku Doro (KK Line)
The Tokyo Kosoku Doro (KK Line) was abolished on April 5. The KK Line has long been popular as a free elevated road connecting the Metropolitan Expressway and about 2 km from Shimbashi to Nishi-Ginza. However, due to aging and urban redevelopment, it has ended its role as a "road for cars" and will be reborn as a "pedestrian space" in the future. As such a new first step, the “KK Line Reborn Ceremony” was held on April 18 after a photo parade, followed by the “Roof Park Fes & Walk” on the 18th and 19th. At Roof Park Fes & Walk on the 19th, the KK line runs one-way from Shimbashi to Nishi-Ginza. When I participated in this event and walked around a place that was once a highway, the scenery was different from usual.
