There is a tuna monument at the exit of Tsukiji Market Station.

[kimitaku] February 28, 2014 14:00

Take the Oedo Line Tsukiji Market Station toward Hamarikyu, and you will find a "tuna monument" in front of the intersection.

 I read the inscription.

A hydrogen bomb test was conducted at Bikini Atoll in the South Pacific on March 1, 1954.

Then, some of the tuna caught from the exposed "No. 5 Fukuryu Maru" arrived at the market, and a Tokyo inspection revealed radioactive contamination.

The contaminated fish (sharks, tuna) were buried in this corner.

Nearly 460 tons of contaminated fish were found in more than 850 fishing boats nationwide, and it was written that market officials and fishery officials were also hit hard, such as panic throughout Japan and no "seri" was established in Tsukiji Market. I am.

It is written that this plate was made with donations (10 yen) from many children from all over the country so that such nuclear damage does not occur.

The date of creation of the plate is March 1, 1999.

It's just a small monument on the back of the intersection.

Near spring

[Satoken] February 28, 2014 09:00

After the heavy snow, warm days have increased.

I often go to Nihonbashi Library, but I took a picture on the way.

It is a small park at the base of Kayaba Bridge. I think it was a plum blossom, but it bloomed beautiful and pretty flowers.

I also went to Koami Shrine, one of Nihonbashi Seven Lucky Gods.

It's not worshiper like New Year's, but there were quite a few visitors.

It was famous for Zen-washing Benten, so everyone was washing in hope of good fortune.

I washed myself in hope of good fortune. I hope it will increase.

Tsukishima is a delicious Western-style restaurant with monja

[Silver] February 26, 2014 14:00

Tsukishima is famous for "Monjayaki", and Nishinakanaka-dori, which is lined with shops, is called "Monja Street" etc.

But to say hard, it is officially "Nishinaka-dori", so thank you.

By the way, today, we walked from Ginza 4-chome to Tokyo Big Sight in the final walking of the Tokyo Marathon Course this year.

Study about the history and buildings of Tsukiji Honganji Temple, and the site of St. Luke's College of Nursing is the site of Takumi Asanouchi's residence, the birthplace of Ryunosuke Akutagawa, and the birthplace of Keio University.

Akashicho had foreign consulates such as the U.S. Embassy, Portugal, Peru, Switzerland and Spain, and was called Tsukiji Reservation.

See monuments such as Women's Academy, Aoyama Gakuin, Rikkyo Girls' School, Women's Seigakuin, etc., and enjoy studying the origin of the mission school's predecessor, visited Sumiyoshi-jinja Shirine in Tsukuda, and entered Tsukishima. Was.

Looking at the second floor of the building in Tsukishima town, you can feel nostalgic about the remnants of the old shop.

In Tsukishima, we were divided into groups who wanted to eat monjayaki and those who loved Western food, and everyone was satisfied.

The photo shows a meal scene at "Restaurant Piasola".

I received a set meal of 850 yen for hamburger and shrimp fried (as of February 22, 2014).

I'll report it because it was very delicious.

I was able to make a reservation for lunch in a situation where the afternoon schedule was packed with many people, so it was helpful.

I walked along the course of the Tokyo Marathon

[Apricot peony] February 26, 2014 09:00

On the 22nd day before the Tokyo Marathon, I participated in the walking of the Tokyo Marathon course, which Ginzo introduced on the correspondent blog.

From the Tokyo Metropolitan Government to the goal Tokyo Big Sight, the Tokyo Marathon course is divided into six and walked sequentially from Saturday, January 25 to February 22 (Sat), all courses It seems that those who participated will receive a completion prize.

I participated in the last course of "Tsukishima-Toyosu-Tokyo Big Sight".

At 12:50, waiting at the meeting place at Tsukishima Station Exit No. 3, people who walked "Ginza-Tsukuji-Tsukuda-Tsukishima" in the morning came and joined here.

It's start right away.

"In the morning course, there were Kabukiza, Honganji, Sumiyoshi-jinja Shirine and historic sites, but the course in the future is a new land, so I only walked until last year.

But this year, the Tokyo Olympics will be decided, and we plan to have many facilities in this area, so let's walk while imagining the future!"

In the quote of the guide, almost the first-time participants talked about memories of the old Olympics and had a friendly atmosphere.

First of all, from Tsukuda-ohashi Bridge, which can be said to be the biggest difficulty for runners, pass the up and down of Asashio Ohashi, cross the Harumi Bridge (not Harumi Bridge), and head to Toyosu.

From here, take a little off the course and go to the square in front of LaLaport, which faces Tokyo Bay.

Here, there was a crane and a huge ship screw to commemorate the once-built shipyard.

The weather was very good, so I took a break while watching Rainbow Bridge and Fuji TV over there.

Then, after returning to the course again, he went on a wide road.

When I walked on a vacant lot in the buildings, saying, "It seems that there will be a stadium for XX here," I arrived at Ariake in no time.

But at the last end, a considerable steep slope was waiting.

I haven't walked a lot of distance, but it's a bit! I think the runners are very hard because I thought it was enough.

And finally the goal!

Perhaps there was a security problem, there was a fence in front of the goal, and I could only go near the gate of 195m, but for the time being, everyone took a commemorative photo and broke up.

When I actually walked, I was able to feel the feeling of up and down, and it was a valuable experience.

ck1203_20140225 (3). jpg

By the way, after the walking, it was said that "Tokyo Marathon Expo" was being held at Big Site, so I stopped here.

At the entrance there is a head priest of Daikanonji Temple in Ningyocho, famous for the agile god "Skanda", and you will pray for your wishes to come true, a huge Ema appears!

I have been praying for my friends who are running.

ck1203_20140225 (6). jpg ck1203_20140225 (2). jpg

ck1203_20140225 (7). jpgAt the venue, in addition to exhibiting the history of the Tokyo Marathon, booths such as official support companies, companies dealing with general sports-related goods and food, co-sponsored media and marathon-related organizations, Tokyo-related booths, etc. lined up and are surprised at the bustle!

At the booth in Chuo-ku, in addition to long-established stores such as Yamamoto-noriten, tourist associations also exhibited.

We sold original furoshiki, etc. with familiar stylish designs.

It was a very exciting day from the day before the start, but I'm surprised to be able to enjoy so much even if I don't actually run.

If you win all the courses, there is no doubt that the TV broadcast and watching eyes will be different again.

Kawazu Sakura <Shinkawa Park>

[Sam] February 25, 2014 17:00

The kawazu-zakura (Kawazu Sakura) planted on the northeast side of Chuo-ohashi Bridge on Shinkawa Park / Sumida River Terrace is blooming.

It is said to be a natural hybrid of Kanhizakura and oshima cherry, the flower color is pink or light red, and is more pink than Yoshino cherry tree.

Instead of blooming and falling like Yoshino cherry tree, it begins to bloom in early February and is in full bloom after about a month.

It is also characterized by enjoying the flowering process and keeping the full bloom for a certain period of time.

However, the flowering time seems to be greatly affected by the weather of the year, and it is said that it blooms early in the beginning of the year, but it is said that it is very difficult to make the flowering forecast because it is delayed after mid-February .

In Kawazu-cho, where the name of this cherry tree originated, the Kawazu Sakura Festival is held for about one month from early February every year (February 5 to March 10 this year), but there are some years when the flowering time is delayed. It seems that there is.

In any case, spring is getting closer steadily.

The day when Tokyo became one

[Koedo Itabashi] February 25, 2014 14:00

"Let's run the Tokyo Marathon."

A word that came out of the momentum of sake at the launch of work.

One of them will take that story.

"There is also a TV broadcast, and it's cool if the deciding pose is reflected."

"I can't run a marathon. It's an ambulance on the way."

"Because the magnification is high, it's not always possible to participate. Let's enter, also as a test of luck."

"Don't betray me. I'm sure everyone will register."

The next day, the uncles at work went to the computer with momentum, taking care of the lack of daily exercise.

The result of the incoming call a few months later is:

All fails to magnification exceeding 10 times.

It is quite difficult to be selected as a 35,000 runner.

Even so, once you start moving, you go to the next goal.

We are looking for volunteers to support the tournament.

Yes, this is it.

In 2014, international competitions such as the Sochi Winter Olympics and the Soccer World Cup will continue.

The heat ignited the feeling of "I have to do something."

And with the decision to hold the Tokyo Olympics in 2020, a clear goal was set in my heart.

Six years later, if I could get involved in some way, wouldn't it be nice?

Volunteers of the Tokyo Marathon can register their activity area as desired.

In that case, let's make it in Chuo-ku.

The decision notice is Nihonbashikayabacho, 15 wards of the Ginza / Nihonbashi area.

My role is to let the runner know where the toilet is located.

It's an important task, though sober, when needed, is always higher priority.

(If you have experienced it, you can understand it.)

On February 23 (Sun), concerns about record snowfall over the previous two weeks were cleared.

Occasionally, the sound of a flute drum flows in the tight air, where snow hits the wind.

This is a support performance in front of the nearby Metropolitan Taka Kabuto-cho parking lot.

A musical accompaniment by a local group in Chuo-ku.

Music performance of elementary school students.

I feel so excited.

When wheelchair runners and top groups appear, cheering spreads out.

In the afternoon, the sun came out.

A player who runs through the scenery of the city.

A player in elaborate costumes that reminds me of the costume prize. (I think it's hard to run as much as I stand out.)

The desired running and the wave of people pass in front of you one after another.

It seems that the number of participants from overseas has increased.

The Tokyo Marathon has joined the World Marathon Majors since 2013.

This is the world's top race, alongside the Boston, London, Berlin, Chicago and Empire City Marathon.

I have a tooth that doesn't come out to a foreign runner with a troubled face.

Respond with gestures and smiles of suffering.

I managed to get through.

Next time, let's be able to guide you a little more smoothly.

On the return trip, go to the color cone in the center of the street and cheer.

Wave your hands, applaud, and call out.

You will receive a reply with a high touch or bow.

Even with just the gaze you throw, you can convey that thought.

My eyes became hot, and for a moment I saw the scenery of the building.

Volunteers made up of 10,000 people.

That age was quite wide.

I was a little sorry for the elderly because I kept standing all the time, but to the extent I was involved without overdoing it.

I think it's enough if you have a feeling of having fun together.

At the time of disbanding, my voice was heard and my feet became bread.

It was a pleasant fatigue.
