Nihonbashi Junior High School

[Satoken] August 31, 2014 17:32

On the last day of August, I walked around the Higashinihombashi area. It is a historic junior high school located along the Sumida River and near the Yagenbori fudoson.

The brass band is famous and often appears at ward events.

Nihonbashi Naka 4.jpg Front entrance

Nihonbashi Naka 1.jpgThis is a description of a monument performed by the Emperor at the time during the Great Kanto Earthquake.

In front of the school, it is named Miyuki Street. For Ginza, go to "Miyuki Street"

It's different, isn't it?

Schools in Chuo-ku seem to have a long history and many interesting things.

Shinkawa, a watering spot for the Fukagawa Hachiman Festival

[TAKK...] August 31, 2014 09:00

A while ago, the portable shrine Union imperial procession, where the Gohori of the Fukagawa Hachiman Festival imperial procession in shrine parishioner was held on Saturday, August 16, and 53 portable shrine units from each town were imperial procession together on Sunday, August 17.

At the festival of Tomioka Hachimangu Shrine (Koto-ku), Shinkawa and Hakozaki in Chuo-ku were also part of the portable shrine Union imperial procession route.

Usually, the roads where office workers and cars come and go are full of portable shrine, bearers and security guards.

  .

  .

You will cross Eitai Bridge from Shinkawa and return to Tomioka Hachimangu Shrine, but in front of Eitai Bridge is a watering spot.

  .

"Watering" is the habit of pouring clean water from the roadside to the portable shrine bearers.

However, here, the fire brigade uses a fire engine to "water discharge", so it is a tremendous power and must-see.

It's extremely hot, so I'm grateful for watering.

 The dog rushed in.

The appearance of portable shrine dancing in the office district looks very strange.

Even if the shape of the city changed, I thought that the tradition was well preserved.

It means that there are many people who support the festival, and I felt very grateful.

Panel exhibition "Things and Animal memorial monuments in Chuo-ku-ku-What does" mound " convey?"

[Apricot peony] August 29, 2014 09:00

From August 2, in front of the inhabitant of a ward gallery of the Local Tenmonkan (Time Dome Akashi), a mini panel exhibition called "Chuo-ku Mono and Animal Memorial Monument Tour-What is the Tsuka" Tell "?" Is being held.

ck1203_20140828 (5). jpg

As the title of "Mini", it is a photo panel display of 12 memorial monuments in 8 places, so it feels small, but if there was such a thing in a place passing casually, I think that those who saw it will be surprised.

At the venue, there was an A4 flyer called "Chuo-ku Mono and Animal Memorial Monument Map", so I received it and immediately went to the nearby Namishi Inari Shrine.

ck1203_20140828 (2). jpg

On the precincts, Ebitsuka and angler mound were erected as shown in the panel photo.

After reading the explanation on the panel, I can't help but think about not only the rarity, but also the lives of those living on the fish shore and the gratitude for the lives we take in our lives. I can't help it.

ck1203_20140828 (7). jpg ck1203_20140828 (4). jpg ck1203_20140828 (6). jpg

But speaking of fish banks, tuna.

What is the monument of tuna? I thought it was at the main gate where Tsukiji Market Station was located.

ck1203_20140828 (3). jpg

According to the map, there are other things that we usually take care of, such as "Katsuozuka" in Sumiyoshi-jinja Shirine in Tsukuda, "Harizuka" at Tetsuzu Inari Shrine, and "Unagizuka" at Minobubetsuin in Kodemmacho. There are memorial monuments for things and animals that are being done.

It's enough distance to walk or go around by bicycle.

The lingering summer heat crosses the pass, and it will be easier to spend from now on.

Wouldn't it be a good idea to see this panel exhibition and actually visit the memorial monument?

In addition, the mini-panel exhibition by the supporters of the local Tenmonkan will be held until September 28, but the theme will be changed thereafter, and it will be held four times in total until the end of March next year. .

For the time being, I'm looking forward to the "Ryusei Kishida and Ginza" exhibition scheduled from October 4th.

Tsurutaro Kataoka Exhibition [Matsuya Ginza]

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] August 28, 2014 09:00

From August 27 (Wednesday), "Tsurutaro Kataoka Exhibition 60th Anniversary of Painting" has been held at Matsuya Ginza 8th floor Event Square, and I went there on the first evening.

katao1.JPGMr. Tsurutaro Kataoka was started as a vocal modifier, became a popular actor in variety programs, and since then has been active as an actor who can play a wide range of characters, but he is also active as a painter. Earlier, I saw Tsurutaro, a lecturer of Aya Sumi painting on NHK's educational television.

In this solo exhibition, about 150 works, including unpublished works and new works, showing the trajectory of 20 years of creative activities, are exhibited. In addition to the exhibition of works, interviews with Mr. Tsurutaro's production site and painting work are also aired. The story of camellia flowers is very impressive.

The theme of this time, "60th birthday red," seems to have Tsurutaro's strong desire to make life more bloom from the 60th birthday. It seems that the goldfish was drawn as the motif of the 60th birthday red, and the latest work "Goldfish <two-piece folding screen>" is also on display.

katao2.JPGIt's a postcard I bought in commemoration. These original drawings are also on display.

The period is until September 8 (Monday). Opening hours are from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The last day is closed at 5 o'clock and admission is until 30 minutes before closing.

Goldfish because of the remaining heat

[Koedo Itabashi] August 27, 2014 11:00

Even if you wake up from the throat of a nap, your body that has been over hit by the heat cannot easily get up.

As I had an early evening meal and was lying around, my feelings finally shifted to the remaining time on the precious holiday.

Do you have any events that will be in time for you to go in the future?

It's not a goldfish connection that I wake up from a nap, but what about the night aquarium in Cored Muromachi?

If you pull out the collected pamphlets, the final entrance is 23:00 and it is open until 23:30.

I have enough time to enjoy it.

The aquarium will be held until September 23.

Open at 11:00 and until 19:00, "Art Aquarium" is open.

From 19:00, you can enjoy two different productions with the composition of "Night Aquarium".

You can also enjoy paid drinks at night in the venue.

Walking in pale light with a bottle or cocktail glass in one hand, you can immerse yourself in a stretched adult mood.

Is there a way to show such a flock of goldfish?

・・I'm surprised.

The diversity of aquariums indicates the high level of glass technology in Japan.

"Nitrate bacteria cultured at high-speed high concentrations." For the first time, I learned that it is the leading role in the shadow that purifies water and directs this aquarium.

The ancestors who have poured deep affection and passion into the mutation red goldfish and nurtured a style culture of celebrating goldfish.

It is a figure where the rich culture of the Edo period and the skills of playfulness are fruitful.

Since it was a peaceful era without war, I could have concentrated on cultivating goldfish.

Because of the night, many of the visitors were accompanied by two.

She is leaning on the edge of the aquarium and looking up a little over her eyes. You know the gesture that looks beautiful.

A boyfriend taking a picture in one hand of a bottle with a glittering water tank in the background. You're handsome enough.

That's right. You are talking to the goldfish in the aquarium while sitting alone. You look tired. Please have him heal.

My eyes were used to the dim space with the lights turned off, and the flow of the aquarium and the water were distinguished.

The overflowing sound and light give you a pleasant feeling of uplift.

Music may have created a different Japanese atmosphere by incorporating not only the sounds of synthesizers, but also the sounds of nature and classical instruments.

A yukata with a red spot pattern on a white background that resembles a goldfish.

The girlfriends the fluttered silk skirt and walks fast.

"I'm sure this is more cute than the Goldfish!"

If you were a five-year-old Shinnosuke, he went out to the street, thinking that he would say so.

The surrounding commercial facilities were lit up and large goodwill, giving the historical atmosphere of Nihonbashi.

The summer light-up is an event until August 31st.

[Chuo-ku to enjoy with children] #02: Bakery Cafe with a nursing room (Kyobashi)

[Dye] August 26, 2014 17:00

There are a lot of things to worry about when going out with children.

"Is there a place where I can change diapers?..."Where should I breastfeed if I cry on the way?"...」

I think there are many things to worry about.

In Ginza and Nihonbashi, if you run into a department store in case of emergency, you can manage it.

This time, I would like to introduce a bakery cafe near the nursing room in the slightly secret Kyobashi area.

This is GGCo. Cafe & Bakery, located in the Kyobashi Trust Tower.

s06_01.jpg s06_02.jpg

It is located on the first floor of the hotel Courtyard by Marriott Tokyo Station, which opened in April 2014.

It is located along Chuo-dori between Ginza and Nihonbashi, a 1-minute walk from Kyobashi Station on the Ginza Line and a 4-minute walk from the south exit of Yaesu Station on the JR Tokyo Station.

The nursing room is located at the entrance of the Kyobashi Trust Tower, and on the left at the end of the glass.

s06_03.jpg s06_04.jpg s06_07.jpg

The inside is like this. There is also hot water. There's also a baby carriage.

s06_05.jpg s06_06.jpg

There is only one place, so if you are in use, I'm waiting in line, but when I went several times on weekdays afternoon, it was usually vacant.

This nursing room is also registered as "Baby / Flatto", so some of you may already know it, but it is relatively vacant and beautiful, and the cafe in the same building is also open terrace It has a wonderful atmosphere.

Cute croissant donut

s06_10.jpg

However, delicious chocolate is easy to dissolve! Be careful if you eat on a date (laughs).

If you look at each of the following sites, the cafe is closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, but the nursing room can be used from 6:30 to 25:00 every day except on days when the building is closed.

I recommend it when you want to take a break.
