From May 18 this year, the Bridgestone Museum of Art, located at the intersection of Yaesu-dori and Chuo-dori, will be closed and new construction will begin.

The new building is expected to open a few years later, but now there is a collection exhibition of "Best of the Best" suitable for decorating the end before the museum is closed. The period is from Saturday, January 31 to Sunday, May 17.

It is said that about 1,600 of the approximately 2,500 Ishibashi collections are managed at the Bridgestone Museum. About 160 of them will be exhibited at the Best of the Best.

The day I went was the first day, so I thought it was crowded, but it was just enough that one or several people were standing and watched in front of each work, so it was moderately crowded .

I was able to take a closer look at my favorite work at my own pace, and I was able to spend a really satisfying time with the feeling of saying, "I'm sorry to have my eyes (_ _)m" .

From March 31, some exhibits have been replaced, and three important cultural properties from the Ishibashi Museum of Art in Kurume City, Fukuoka Prefecture, "The Sham of Tenpyo" (Takeji Fujishima), "Seafood", "Wadatsumi Irokonomiya" (Shigeru Aoki) will also be exhibited.
