Canto dandelion? <Hamarikyu Onshi Garden>

[Sam] 14:00 on April 21, 2016

DSC_0221'LLS.jpg

The yellow dandelion flower that draws an eye is a spring tradition, but now it can be found even in winter days.

On April 6, the Tokyo Regional Meteorological Observatory announced one of the biological seasonal observation information "dandelion flowering".

By the way, this year's flowering was about the same as normal, 6 days later than last year.

native species's "canto dandelion" distributed around the Kanto region has long been said to have decreased its population due to the recent push of "seiyo dandelion" in naturalized species, but it seems that 88% of the dandelion collected in the 23 wards of Tokyo are hybrid dandelion that occurs between canto dandelion and dandelion.

R0037352SQRSG.jpgOn the exterior, the canto dandelion has a "total bract" that supports the petals from below and does not Kaide toward the outside, but the "total bract outer fragment" of the dandelion wraps the petals It is said that it is distinguished by turning away from the "total bract piece", but it is also complicated because it has intermediate characteristics.

The dandelion that blooms around the tidal pond (large spring water) in the park can see the characteristics of a canto dandelion in appearance, but when I ask the garden, it is said that the possibility of a canto dandelion, which is rare in Tokyo could not be denied.

Perhaps thanks to the nature has been secured, nostalgia cannot be prohibited.

By the way, there seems to be various theories about the etymology of dandelion, but there is a play of tearing both ends of the dandelion stem and turning back, and since this is similar to the traditional Japanese instrument, the theory that it is derived from an onomatopoeic word "tan pompon", which represents the sound of hitting the drum, is considered to be influential.

The kanji name "Kamakoei" is derived from the Chinese name and seems to be the name of herbal medicine.

Greening of the Kamejima River

[TAKK...] 09:00 on April 21, 2016

The Kamejima River is a 1.1km-long first-class river that divides from the Nihonbashi River near Kayabacho and pours into the Sumida River via Hatchobori.

Greening of banks is being promoted through initiatives such as Tokyo Metropolitan Government.

This time, the riverbank near Hatchobori (near Takahashi) has been neatly maintained.

※ A place where the area around the red frame is maintained

The riverbank of the Kamejima River is close to the river and there are very few places to relax, so the place maintained this time is valuable.

I think it is difficult to secure land, but I hope that such facilities will continue to be maintained in the future.

R0037365SQLSG.jpg On April 18 (Monday), a "tea ceremony experience" was held at Houmetei in Hamarikyu Onshi Garden to enjoy a tea ceremony casually.

1st time 10:00-, 2nd time 11:00-, 3rd time 13:00-, 4th time 14:00-

Lecturer is Mr. Muneharu Motoyama, Edo Senke and Ouchi Soshin Tea Ceremony Class.

During the Edo period, there was a garden government office near this area, and it is said that the entrance to the garden was guarded.

I heard that it became a staff member of the Takumi Dormitory in the Meiji period, and it was built as a meeting place in 1948 after the war.

It is currently being used as a gathering facility "Houmetei".

First, in addition to the procedure and etiquette of the "foreground" procedure, a presentation on tea utensils such as tea bowls, how to appreciate teahouses and ikebana of tea flowers, and exchanges of hearts with guests.

Next, for those who wish, the experience of "dot-mae" actually.

Most of the participants are foreign tourists visiting Japan.

It seems that most of the tourists are staying around the country.

His nationality ranges from U.K., Belgium, Australia and New Caledonia.

This time, it is a casual style tea ceremony with free clothes, OK empty-handed.

Tea ceremony is also said to be the aesthetic of "hospitality" and "preparation".

Against the background of different cultures, through the human warmth that passes between the master and the customer, and the opportunity to experience the spirit of Japanese.

It was a place of exchange.

Weekdays from 10 to 20:00

I asked a person in the shop. 5 or 6 years ago, my relatives ran such a wholesaler. The customer base is elderly, and recently there are foreign customers. The best is Peko, a monster figure. They will respond quickly to customer needs.
