Sakura is still blooming [Ginza Sakura-dori St.]

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] April 8, 2018 14:00

The Yoshino cherry tree of Ginza Sakura-dori St. was in full bloom on a blog on March 29, but "Kanzan" is overwhelmingly more of the cherry blossoms planted on this street, and now this Kanzan is in full bloom.

Kanzan (Sekiyama) is a horticultural variety of cherry blossoms in the Satozakura group.

It seems that the scientific name is registered under the name Sekiyama.

kanz201802.JPG

It is a very common species in Yaezakura, and it is easy to grow, so it is often planted as street trees and park trees.

kanz201803.JPG

It seems that the flowering season will begin from mid-April to early May, but did the flowering accelerate this year due to the climate?

kanz201804.JPG

In contrast to the light pink color of Yoshino cherry tree, large flowers and buds are dark cherry-colored.

Kanzan can enjoy the flowering season longer than Yoshino cherry tree.

By the way, Kanzan is often made into salted cherry blossoms and becomes the source of Sakurayu.

At Mitsukoshimae Station

[The Monkey] April 8, 2018 09:00

I thought that the cherry blossoms in Nihonbashi Muromachi would be scattered, but when I descended underground, it was still in full bloom.

There is a special cherry blossom train running on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line. This train is sponsored by Asahi Breweries, "Let's go to see cherry blossoms on the Tokyo Metro!" As part of the campaign, the interior of the cherry blossoms is decorated and the retro wood-grained interior inside the car is windows, doors, hanging advertisements, cherry blossoms, cherry blossoms, and cherry blossoms.

It runs from Asakusa Station to Shibuya Station on the Ginza Line every 40 minutes. The time varies from day to day, and you can check it at the station (operating until April 8).

When we got off at Mitsukoshimae Station, this is the show window of Mitsukoshi Department Store, the entrance is cherry blossoms, cherry blossoms, cherry blossoms, cherry blossoms, and full-fledged spring.

2018 Kikumomomo Flowering

[Sam] April 7, 2018 18:00

DSC02253ELS''.jpgR0028421RS''.jpg "Kikumomomomo" planted at the southern end of Ishikawajima Park, located along the Sumida River school river from Chuo-ohashi Bridge to the south of Aioi Bridge, at the southern end of Ishikawajima Park, in front of the Aioi Bridge Nanseizume. It is in full bloom again this year.

Among the deciduous Odaka tree "Momo" belonging to the genus Rosaceae, it is a kind of "Hana Momo" that appreciates flowers. The name is derived from the fact that the flower shape resembles chrysanthemum (chrysanthemum), also known as "Genjiguruma (Genji car) ".

The elongated petals, which are said to have changed many stamens, bloom in a row, and the appearance of covering the branches is a unique gorgeousness.

The glossy double dark red flower figure is eye-catching and adds color to the refreshing season with fragrant flowers.

Statue of Messenger and cherry blossoms in full bloom

[kimitaku] April 7, 2018 14:00

It was a sunny weekday in late March.

Cherry blossoms are in full bloom in the morning tide canal. Flowers hang down toward the surface of the water.

The surface of the water is colored.

There are two boats to see the cherry blossoms.

You can hear cheers from each other's ships.

From the Chuo-ohashi Bridge on the Sumida River, you can see Eitai Bridge from the statue of Messenger, and the cherry blossoms on the right bank are in full bloom.

Walking while loving Sakura, a large ship of the Tokyo Bay Cruise descended.

You will be satisfied with the Osship Zackin.

Future Estimated Population in Chuo-ku (2)

[CAM] April 7, 2018 12:00

In the last post on "Population Estimation of Chuo-ku", we correct some errors and supplement them.

>In "Chuo-ku Monoshiri Encyclopedia", on page 87, "Population Change in Chuo-ku" ... In 1998, the population increased for the first time in 45 years, "297 people" compared to the previous year, and in April 2006 He stated that he had achieved 100,000 for the first time in 31 years since 1 years since 1975 years.

Then, in the previous article, "In the Tsukuda area where I live, we are blessed with a space of 'green and water', such as Tsukuda Park, Ishikawajima Park, and Sumida River Terrace, so the ' merits of accumulation' due to population increase (local vitality and improvement of living convenience) will further increase, and we will eliminate the demerit of overcrowding population. "

In connection with this, Mr. Takuro Morinaga pointed out that "Tokyo is now" Edo "" in terms of population growth in central Tokyo ". As is well known, Chuo-ku (former Nihonbashi-ku / Kyobashi-ku) is the first Edo.

http://www.1242.com/lf/articles/48592/?cat=life&pg=happy

Morinaga) Edo is very small in the area, and everyone lived in a place smaller than the inside of the current Yamanote Line. Well, it was a million city, but there was Samurai residence around the present Imperial Palace, where 60% of Edo's samurai lived in 500,000 people, but the remaining 20% is temples and shrines. The monks lived, and 500,000 townspeople lived in the remaining 20% of the land. It's just a tenement house.

Morinaga) So this tenement house is very narrow. However, there were many fires, but live widely with as little things as possible. So what the common people of Edo were doing is, for example, going to listen to rakugo. You can enjoy Kabuki or sumo wrestling.

Morinaga) It's just like (now). I'm going to enjoy the live show. It's a lifestyle.

Morinaga) (The former tenement house was spread sideways, but now it's like a tower apartment) just getting higher, and what you're doing is exactly the same.
