On April 10th (Sun), I went to Mr. Suitengu as a prayer for safe delivery and his grandson, first shrine visit for a newborn.
The first thing that surprised me when I arrived at Suitengu after noon was that I only visited main hall and had to wait for more than an hour before entering the precincts.
If you think about it, the first "Dog Day" after Suitengu was returned to oyster shell town. It may be natural that you can't wait and come to visit.
But we still have a two-month-old grandson, and if we thought we would have to give up today, the security guard told us that first shrine visit for a newborn would be able to enter without waiting, so I immediately applied for first shrine visit for a newborn and quickly passed through the waiting room.
The waiting room is a spacious and well-lit room.
The elbows of the bench in the waiting room can be raised, and if it is vacant, it seems that you can keep the baby sleeping while waiting. There is also a nursing room.
And a celebration flower was received from Prime Minister Abe.
It is a long corridor that leads from the room where Mr. chief priest pays to the exit.
Thanks to Suitengu's consideration so that pregnant women and babies will not be lined up for too long, we were able to complete the visit safely.
Thank you very much.
