The original "Eating Ray Oil"

[Shiraji] June 28, 2016 09:00

Do you remember a few years ago that "eat raw oil" became popular in the spicy boom? The larva oil of this Asian dish "Nanashin" sparked the "eat larva oil" boom.

 saisinn1.JPG

If you go at lunch time, even if you order noodles, a large amount of lar oil will come out on the cup in small rice.

(I will also give you a paper apron for honey.)

"Don't eat with raw oil!" It's said, and eats rice with a teaspoon of larva oil. Rela oil has little oil (about 20%) and it is Rela oil as a side dish with plenty of ingredients. It's more spicy than I imagined! But I don't know the ingredients, but it's fragrant and tasteful "eat lar oil".

 syouraisu 1.JPG

You can buy this raw oil as a take-out. (Surely 500 yen or 600 yen) For highly popular evidence, we also ship from nearby Pelican flights to rural areas almost every day.

ra-yu.JPG

However, it is in this lar oil and plastic container, but after taking it home, transfer it to a wide container such as a jam bottle and use it. Otherwise, a small amount of oil comes out at first, and most of the ingredients remain, making it difficult to remove.

In addition, the dish of "Nanashin" seems to be a dish that boasts dandandan noodles.

We don't like special spicy foods, but if you add this litter oil, you will improve the taste of one rank and tuna, such as commercially available dumplings and ramen!

Ginza certification? ? ?

[Shiraji] May 30, 2016 16:00

Did you have such a test? If you look closely, it was "Hanako" released last month.

In other words, it was a guidebook featuring Ginza called "Information on rumors by Q & A".

The contents are "Value lunch, secret cafes, retro architecture of Ginza, etc.", even if you read it as it is, Nakanaka contents, and it will be convenient for walking and shopping in Ginza as the latest guidebook I will introduce it. 。

"Edo Hoki" Shirakiya Denbei

[Shiraji] March 30, 2016 09:00

Shirakiya Denbei is a long-established store that manufactures and sells Edo brooms.

It was founded in Ginza in the first year of Tenpo (1830) and then moved to Kyobashi.

Of course, Zashiki brooms have existed for a long time, but it was Denbei Shirakiya who started manufacturing and selling brooms as "Edo brooms".

The front of the store. JPG

Until then, palms were common as materials for parlor brooms, but `` Edo brooms '' made from grass of brooms are perfect for living in tatami mats and tenement houses. It is said that it is easy to sweep quickly without putting effort.

"Edo Houki", which was created by evolving the traditional parlor broom and pursuing a well-balanced and light broom, is selected and knitted from a natural grass called Houki Morokoshi as a raw material, but the beauty of the knitting is It is also said to be "the best of Edo".

Using natural materials, late-night cleaning can be done easily and easily around the area, ideal for tatami mats, can be used for carpets and pet hair removal, electricity costs are not charged, static electricity is not generated, etc. Sales are growing because they want to live.

However, in order to make a high-quality broom, it takes a lot of effort to produce and sort raw materials.
First of all, according to the sense of the craftsman's hands, the grass is sorted to about 20th grade according to the criteria such as "softness, stiffness, and fineness of the grass", and even skilled craftsmen can only do 3 to 5 pieces a day with a long pattern.

Therefore, the finest "Edo Houki" is very expensive (higher than Dyson's vacuum cleaner), but in the case of "Edo Houki", if you use it about "5 years", the ears will decrease due to friction, and even if the ears are cut off, the stiffness will return and usability will return, so finally you can use it at the entrance.

Workplace. JPG Gallery. JPG Gallery 2.JPG

Of course, there are also small brooms for desks and dining tables, and small brooms for dust-free clothes.

 Shirakiya accessories 2.JPG
What is interesting is that there is a "broom for praying for safe delivery" in Japan for more than a thousand years, there is a legend that the spiritual power of Shinto and Buddha dwells in the broom, and if the pregnant woman's stomach is beaten with a new broom, it will be safe.
I think it's shabby to give gifts to those who are about to give birth....。

 Shirakiya accessories 1.JPG
In addition, various brooms are displayed in the gallery.

"Ginza 100 Points"

[Shiraji] February 29, 2016 16:00

Do you know a town magazine called "Ginza Hundred Points"?
As the name suggests, it is an information magazine of Ginza published by the store association "Hundred Stores Association", which has many long-established stores in Ginza.

It was first published in 1955, and it is the oldest town magazine in Japan to become No.735 this month. (Maybe)
The name of the town magazine is "Ginza 100 Points" instead of "Ginza 100 Stores" even though it is published by the Ginza 100 Store Association!

What is different from town magazines in other regions is that "Ginza Hundred Points" has a fixed price.
That's also a pretty price of 270 yen.

The number of copies is about 100,000, and of course, like other free papers, it is located at the storefronts of stores that are members of the Hundred Store Association and can be obtained free of charge.

However, it is surprising that there are about 1,500 people who subscribe annually for a fee (4062 yen, including shipping costs). It is said that there are many readers from Hokkaido to Okinawa and overseas.

The content is based on the current information of Ginza, but it is enough to read as a booklet, with contents not found in other town magazines, such as essays by celebrities from various fields and round-table discussions with celebrities.

Walking in the ward world 3 (walking Sumida River)

[Shiraji] January 14, 2016 14:00

This time, even if you say that you walk in the ward world, the ward world is clear on the Harumi Canal and Sumida River, so you just take a walk along the river. Most sections are the ward border with Koto-ku and the ward border with Sumida-ku near Ryogoku Bridge.

However, this course has a wonderful view, and there are many historical interests in the area along the river, so we recommend that you try it at least once.

Even if you walk slowly, you can get away from the hustle and bustle of the car, get off in the sun, have lunch while watching a cruise ship, or go off the course and combine it with a historical walk.

We also recommend a boat cruise that combines the Nihonbashi River, Kanda River, Tokyo Bay, and Odaiba, which departs and arrives at Nihonbashi in a slightly different sense from a walk.

(http://suito.or.jp/) (in Japanese).

You can either go up or down the Sumida River, but we recommend a route to the upstream where you will walk while looking at the Sky Tree.

Originally, it should be starting from the International Passenger Terminal at Harumi Wharf facing Rainbow Bridge, which is the corner of Chuo-ku, but there are almost no sidewalks along the Harumi Canal, and Harumi will be an Olympic Village for the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games, so the starting point will be Tokyo Metro Yurakucho Line and Tozuei Oedo Station.

 Map of Tsukuda Island. JPG

◎Tsukuda Island Map

Originally, the current Tsukishima and Harumi districts were reclaimed land, and during the Edo period it was on the sea with only a few Kojima such as shallows, Tsukuda Island, and Ishikawajima. In other words, the Eitai Bridge was the mouth of the Sumida River, the first bridge was Edo Bay, and the Sumida River was to Eitai Bridge.
Minatomachi and Akashicho (because the scenery is similar to Akashi in Hyogo Prefecture) indicate that this area was once the sea.

Tsukuda Island is an area with an old history, such as Sumiyoshi-jinja Shirine and Bon Odori, as Ieyasu Tokugawa brought fishermen from Tsukuda Village in Settsu (Osaka) to live there.
Ishikawajima is now a popular area as a pioneer in waterfront "Okawabata River City 21" high-rise housing group, but it is the site of the Ishikawajima Shipyard (currently IHI), which was once opened by the Mito Domain. In the Edo period, there was a "Hitoshishoro" created by the proposal of Heizo Hasegawa, a pirate.

"Human Ashojo" is a facility that forcibly enforces non-stayers and prisoners, acquires skills such as carpenters, fittings, paints, etc., and works as a general contractor to rehabilitate them, and gives them wages. It seems to have been a facility that also leads to modern criminal policies that combine security measures and rehabilitation facilities, such as getting a regular job after leaving.

When you pass through Ishikawajima Park along the Harumi Canal, you will see the beautiful "Chuo-ohashi Bridge" of Shahari Bridge.

◎Chuo-ohashi Bridge

The opening of the Chuo-ohashi Bridge was not much noise on August 26, 1993, as it was the same day as the Rainbow Bridge.

Since the Sumida River has partnered with Seine, France in 1989, and the design of this "Chuo-ohashi Bridge" is a French design company, Jack Sirak, the mayor of Paris, is located on the upstream side of the central pier. The sculpture named "Messenger" by Osschkin as a sign of friendship is enshrined.
Since the statue is facing the river side, it is easy to see from the boat descending the Sumida River.

When you cross the Chuo-ohashi Bridge, you can go to the Sumida River Terrace.

From here, except for crossing the Toyomi Bridge over the Nihonbashi River at the end of the Eitai Bridge, you can walk straight upstream along the Sumida River to Ryogoku Bridge. The sky tree is beautiful.

On the other side, you can see the beautiful Kiyosu Bridge, which is said to have imitated the suspension bridge of Cologne, on the Sumida River Ohashi Bridge, and on the other side of the Matsuo Basho, Basho-an, located in narrow road to the interior, the largest bridge on the Onagi River, which transported salt from Gyotoku during the Edo period.
