◆ Harumi Ohashi in Chari

[Sumida Fireworks] Nov. 13, 2016 14:00

Culture Day on November 3rd. On the way home from the Kyobashi Library after a long absence, I suddenly saw a bicycle storage area. There was also a community cycle here.

More than a year has passed since the introduction, but on the way, it became possible to cooperate with neighboring wards, making it even more convenient.

It's a bit far away because it's pleasant weather, but I decided to rent a bicycle to go to Harumi Ohashi at dusk.

First of all, check the charging status. If you don't check this, you may get rid of it, so it's quite important.

After passing through the town of Tsukiji, we went out to Harumi-dori St., crossed Kachidokibashi, and came to the intersection in front of Harumi Ohashi. There is still a little distance from here to the bridge, but this is the forked road of destiny.

Harumi Ohashi is a long bridge over 500m that spans the Harumi Canal between Harumi Wharf and Toyosu Wharf. The lane road to Toyosu in Koto-ku and the lane road to Harumi in Chuo-ku are completely divided into two, so it is a bridge that looks like "two bridges" are next to each other. .

The height is less than 25m and the scenery from Hashigami is outstanding, and the scenery seen from these "two bridges" is completely different, so which side to choose, this intersection is a forked road of fate .

Since dusk is near, choose the side where you will see the Rainbow Bridge at dusk. As I proceeded, I could see the bridge.

It's hard from here on a bicycle. Probably a steep slope that competes for one or two in Chuo-ku is waiting.

But here is the essence of this chari. This chari is an "electric assist bicycle", so you can climb it easily with the power of electricity.

Moreover, it takes more than 10 minutes to walk across, so this chari is very comfortable.

From the top of the bridge, you can see "Toyosu Ohashi", where the unopened Ring Route 2 passes, and "Toyosu Market", which has become a hot topic now.

The walking terrace on the Toyosu side of the Harumi Canal seems to have already been completed, but it seems that you can not walk yet. Does this mean that this has been postponed in line with the postponement of the Toyosu market?

Oh~. It's a pleasant sunlight, but it was backlight. I can see the Rainbow Bridge, but it was a bit difficult to see.

Between the two lanes of the bridge, there is a space to create another road. The construction of the "Tokyo Metropolitan Expressway Harumi Line", which connects from the high-speed Gulf Line, is now in the middle of the process.

There is already an entrance in Toyosu, but after this construction, the Harumi Line will cross the Harumi Canal from Toyosu to Harumi Canal and lead to Harumi Pier.

There is a Tokyo Olympic athlete village at Harumi Wharf, so the image is that the Metropolitan Expressway is directly connected to the athlete village.

Furthermore, this Harumi Line seems to have a magnificent plan to cross the Sumida River underground and pass under the Tsukiji Outer Market to connect to the Loop Line, but it is unclear whether it will be realized.

The view on the Rainbow Bridge side was a bit disappointing, so we decided to cross the bridge and go to the lane road on the other side.

From this side, you can see LaLaport in Toyosu, Koto-ku in front. The cityscape of Toyosu is very beautiful. It was a very good time when the sunset glowed.

There is a terrace-like space in the middle of the bridge, where you can relax and see the Harumi Canal and the streets of Toyosu where boats come and go.

There is also a sky tree in the distance. There were many people jogging because there was a sense of liberation and very pleasant.

You can take a bicycle and go out to the terrace on the Harumi Wharf side, so it might be a good idea to walk near the waterside.

It is the scenery from Harumi Ohashi, but the "night view" is also very beautiful and recommended.

This photo shows the night view of Super Moon Day last fall. I was able to feel the moonlight very bright.
It seems that this year's Super Moon will be November 14th (Monday).
