Ginza success guardian of children and travelers

[Mill] May 2, 2014 15:00

Nice to meet you, my name is Mil.

I am very pleased to be able to add a correspondent to the Chuo-ku Tourism Association from April this year and write a correspondent blog.

I've been living in Chuo-ku for three years, but I would like to introduce my favorite spots.

Thank you very much.

Photo_1~1.JPGGinza Terrace is located on the 9th floor of Ginza Mitsukoshi.

In one corner, there is a place where Ginza Izumi Jizo-son is enshrined.

Sankai Shrine is the guardian deity of Mitsukoshi and is enshrined on the roof of the main branch of Mitsukoshi.

This is also known for its spirituality.

Ginza Izumi Jizo-son is enshrined in the central hall.

According to the information board of the Chuo-ku Board of Education, the "Postal Bulletin" in 1876 said, "In Bunkumoto (1861), when repairing an old storehouse at the 6th place of Hajime Hori chome, Tobito Zentaro Tanaka digs out from the ground ", but there are various theories about the origin, and there are many unclear points.

At first, Ginza Izumi Jizo-son was enshrined at Ginza 4-chome 3 (currently 7).

During the Meiji, Taisho and early Showa eras, fair was very busy, and it was one of Ginza's most popular customs at the time.

Jizo-son, which has been revered by many people, has reduced the number of stalls due to the reconstruction plan after the Great Kanto Earthquake, and during the war, was damaged by incendiary bombs, and Dou was burned down.

After the war, it was worshiped carefully by local volunteers, and it seems that Dou has been set up on the roof of Mitsukoshi since 1965.

It's dark and not reflected, but behind the statue of Jizo in the foreground is the main deity of the Success guardian of children and travelers.

It is a statue that has only been thinly contours, but I feel the warmth protected by many people.

Recently, it has been introduced on TV as a power spot, and many people visit it.

On the Ginza Terrace, where the lawn spreads, small children are playing happily.

I think that Jizo will surely be pleased in a place with greenery and liveliness.

Until 3:00 p.m., you will be able to take care of your incense stick, candles, etc., and separate amulets.

The large stone carved guardian of children and travelers alter ego statue at the back of the photo was established in 1976.

It seems that it was carved by the voice of a believer who would like to worship the Jizo who appeared because he could not worship in the hall.

This is the root of the popular guardian of children and travelers alter ego statue.

Because it is a wood carving, one has a different expression and it is very adorable.

How about when you visit Ginza guardian of children and travelers?
