[Grandpa] January 4, 2017 18:00

New Year's holiday in 2017.

I went on a tour of Nihonbashi Seven Lucky Gods because of the fine weather.

After 9:30 in the morning, I purchased colored paper for pilgrimage and started Kasama Inari Shrine (Kotobuki Oigami) in Hamacho.

There was no such congestion on this day at 10:20.

As I heard that you can pilgrimage in a short time, it goes well and goes well.

Now, next time, Koami Shrine (Fukurokuju) turned around the corner, I saw ... Eh large line

I wonder if there were roughly 100 meters in two rows? It took about 50 minutes...

Autumn Chuo-ku walk (Ginza-Nihonbashi)

[Grandpa] October 1, 2014 17:30

The climate is quite autumn.

I was invited by the refreshing air and went for a walk.

Speaking of a walk in Chuo-ku ... after all, it's "silver Bra"!

This day is a holiday! Chuo-dori in Ginza is a pedestrian paradise.

P1000773.JPG

The scenery of Ginza is changing every moment, but it's time to day.

The symbol of the Ginza 4-chome intersection is still alive.

P1000775.JPG

P1000777.JPG

If you look around, there are many popular shops and famous brand shops.

As expected, it was the lively atmosphere of Ginza.

P1000772.JPGP1000771.JPG

Now, today we will go straight along Chuo-dori and aim for Nihonbashi.

On the way, I passed through Kyobashi, and found a monument to the birthplace of Edo Kabuki beside it!

P1000781.JPG

It's Nihonbashi Takashimaya that you can see if you go further.

P1000783.JPG

I'm going on more and more

Finally, Nihonbashi!

The kirin statue in the center of the bridge is still a popular shooting spot.

P1000788.JPGP1000790.JPG

When you cross the bridge, you can see the topic of Cored Muromachi.

But ... there is a very busy place next to it ...

P1000792.JPG

It was "Nihonbashi Shimanekan"!

Is that player's Fever who was very active in the US Open? It's a great success!

"Shimanekko" welcomes you and goes inside.

What! There is an empty case ...

Maybe the "throat" sold out?

P1000798.JPGP1000799.JPGP1000797.JPG

The Lion on the other side was a little surprised ...

As mentioned above, the autumn walk in Chuo-ku was full of highlights!

Summer view seen from Sumida River Ohashi

[Grandpa] August 23, 2014 09:00

I saw a recent correspondent blog introducing a wonderful view of the Sumida River.

Immediately, I went to enjoy the scenery and atmosphere.

As you follow Ningyocho-dori in the direction of Suitengu, the Sumida River Ohashi is built beyond it.

The Kiyosu Bridge upstream is built across the Sumida River Ohashi, and the Eitai Bridge is built downstream.

Both Kiyosu Bridge and Eitai Bridge were designated as national cultural properties in June 2007, so they were designated as national cultural properties.

From the top of the Sumida River Ohashi Bridge, you can see the national heavy cultural properties both upstream and downstream!

The Kiyosu Bridge was completed in 1928, and was modeled on a suspension bridge in Rhine in Cologne (Germany).

This bridge is said to be beautiful among the bridges over the Sumida River.

※At Kiyosu Hashigami

Eitai Bridge is said to have been built in Genroku 11 (1698), and was about 150m upstream from now.

It was a large wooden bridge at that time, and it was known as a cool place in summer!

The current bridge is a steel arch bridge that was replaced in Taisho 15 (1926).

In addition, from above the Sumida River Ohashi, the Sky Tree is located over Kiyosu Bridge upstream.

River City 21 in Tsukuda over the Eitai Bridge downstream, and Sumida River Terrace along the Sumida River along the Sumida River.

I was able to enjoy various scenery.

The scenery dyed in the sunset and the illuminated night view are also good for each!

Click here for a break of silver bra! (GINZA TERRACE)

[Grandpa] July 28, 2014 16:00

In the middle of Ginza, Mitsukoshi Ginza store in Ginza 4-chome. The rooftop is "GINZA TERRACE".

Speaking of the rooftop of a department store, there was a lively image of events and vehicles for children, but there was a lively image.

It was a very quiet atmosphere full of flowers and lawns.

It may be perfect for a break in silver bra and shopping!

P1000715.JPG P1000714.JPG

In one corner, it is registered as a ward private folk cultural property in Chuo-ku.

"Ginza Isejizoson" is enshrined. It is said that it is said that it is a great experience.

It seems that there are many unclear points about the origin of the successful Jizo.

At first, it was enshrined on the street, but was transferred to the rooftop of Ginza Mitsukoshi.

There seems to be a theory that it came to be called "Seisei Jizo" from the place where it climbed from the street to the rooftop.

From the Meiji era to the early Showa era, fair in Ginza guardian of children and travelers was crowded with many people.

It is said that fair is not currently held.

Even now, at the Ginza Hatcho Shrine Tour in October every year, many people visit guardian of children and travelers!

Holidays in Chuo-ku (June 15, 2014)

[Grandpa] June 23, 2014 09:00

June 15 (Sun) Morning weather

Before the Japanese national team's match at the Soccer Festival World CupP1000673.JPG

The voltage is gradually starting to rise throughout Japan.

In Chuo-ku, "Happy Shopping Ticket" will be released from 9:00 am

At the sales place, there was a great success with a long line of inhabitants.

The population of Chuo-ku has been increasing year by year since 1998 (approximately 72,000).

It seems that there are now more than 135,000 people!

I feel that the line of this "happy shopping ticket" is getting longer year by year.

I also lined up in line from 8:00 am, but around 8:30 am

I didn't know where the last tail was ...

Thank you very much.

Daytime weather on the same day

After a break, the next destination is Nihonbashi Chuo-dori.

On the same day, visit the Sanno Festival's portable shrine procession "Shitamachi Union imperial procession"

When I arrived a little early, I was able to see the unusual scenery.

P1000621.JPGP1000623.JPG

※Chuo-dori is refreshing due to traffic restrictions.

It was quite refreshing to see from around Nihonbashi 2-chome to near Kyobashi.

After that, people who excite the festival and portable shrine came one after another.

As expected, the world's festival is crowded.

We were blessed with the weather and enjoyed our holiday in Chuo-ku.
