It's an eel to put on power.

[Kenken] November 1, 2015 18:00

On Sunday, October 24, Chuo-ku Health and Welfare Festival 2015 was held in Akatsuki Park and others. . This year, my wife participated with my pet dog and custody dog.

By the way, on the other hand, I'm away from the venue, Akatsuki Park, and I'm unintentionally attracted to a famous store.

Mr. Miyakawa Honten. (Tsukiji 1-4-6)

When you open the heavy door, you will find a small window (payment office) and stairs on your left.

When you are guided up to the second floor, you will find a small table seat and a tatami room behind it.

When I visited last time, it was a table, so this time I chose a parlor.

I ordered a classic eel weight that I was wondering if it would be white baked.

Due to the difference in the amount of eel, there are four stages from a to b (a is the bottom), but as a rule when I was lost, I chose "second from the bottom". And it's a bit.

About 20 minutes after the order, I spent a lot of time drinking beer and almost found mobile e-mails while drinking beer, I came first.

There are a slightly darker soup stock, plenty of cucumbers and eels cut into four corners.

As you eat cucumbers, eels are laid again under the soup stock. It's amazing!

Well, it's 50 minutes to wait after ordering. I'm here, Unashige "R."

Unaju.jpg

This is a little spicy. The eel is fluffy. Just touch it with chopsticks.

Sansho doesn't have too strong aroma, but it remains at the tip of the tongue and has a good presence.

Shinka is basically Narazuke. It was 2 pieces.

Oh, it's a really nice shop. It's definitely delicious!

The price is 6,000 yenya. It's not seldom where you can come, but

I needed this shop to gain power and motivation to do my best.

Thank you very much for your feast.

In memory of his late friend...@ Grill Switzerland

[Kenken] September 30, 2015 09:00

This will be the first time in a while.

Today, September 26th is the birthday of a 30-year-old best friend who died terrorism in New York, USA 14 years ago.

On this day, I'm a friend from high school, and I'm going to mourn by eating Katsu curry that he liked. Nowadays, there are various places where everyone works and places where they live, so each eats cutlet curry in various ways in their favorite places.

After a long time, I visited Grill Switzerland (Ginza 3-5-16) and decided to remember my late friend by having the famous "katsu curry".

From here, change your mood and report brightly.

There is a shop located on the Yurakucho side of Ginza 3-chome, Chuo-dori, one street.

Roofs with white and red lines (?) It is a small shop with a landmark. (I forgot to take a picture of the exterior....)

Even after 12 o'clock, I was alone in the store, which was vacant except for me, so I decided to sit in the counter seat facing the wall.

As is the case at the last visit, the standard "Chiba-san's cutlet curry" was born from the word "Please put a tonkatsu on curry" of Mr. Chiba's number 3 of the giant in front of Mr. Nagashima. Or "W cutlet curry" with a service discount at lunch time, I'm wondering if you want to do it.

So, just like the last time, I ordered a W cutlet curry and a medium bottle of beer. (I remember that I regretted that it was better to ask for a small bottle instead of a medium bottle last time (laughs).)

In a small store, the voice of the clerk's female order resonates.

The soup that looks like this potage is brought after the beer bottle and glass.

150926 Soup at Grill Swiss 2.jpg

This is not a potage, but a soup that dilutes the thickness of the cream stew white sauce and tastes it. It's pretty good. However, it is quite hot, so you need to be careful when you have it (laughs).

While having hot soup and a little more beer, the main W cutlet curry is now available!

150926 Katsu Curry at Grill Swiss 2.jpg

One is completely hidden in the sauce, but there are two well-lifted cutlets (this is "W").

As it is fried well, the cutlet is kept crisp even if curry sauce is applied. It's good!

Curry sauce is a sauce with almost no vegetables or meat in shape, which you can see that it has been boiled over time. It's a sauce that insists on its existence, as if it's not too spicy and not too sweet, or as if it's a cutlet you ride. We have a good taste.

While doing so, customers can come in constantly. Most of the men and women were alone.

Despite the middle of Ginza, it feels like a relaxing time flows. Soak in the afterglow of cutlet curry that has been flat in no time.

As mentioned above, the restaurant's stay time is almost 30 minutes. We enjoyed the very delicious cutlet curry and the tasteful atmosphere of the store, dedicated it to a late friend, and left the store.

For a while, it's a good idea to attack with a gourmet report (laughs). Thank you very much for your feast.

From the “Health and Welfare Festival”, tour the “birthplace”

[Kenken] October 28, 2014 09:00

On Sunday, October 26, "Chuo-ku Health and Welfare Festival 2014" was held at Akatsuki Park, the surrounding Chuo-ku Public Health Center, Time Dome Akashi, etc.

Actually, my wife was taking a dog from my home, so I went to see it when it was cool (laughs).

Many groups participated in various elaborate ways, and on the outdoor stage in the park, various performances were shown, and I think it was quite exciting.

Kyosei Suishinin.JPGfukushi matsuri.JPGHowever, I myself get rid of it as soon as possible and walk around a little.

What is particularly noticeable here is that there are many "birthplaces" of various schools.

At that time, more Christianity-based schools were established in Tsukiji Foreign Settlements by foreigners.

For example, on the premises of St. Luke's College of Nursing next to Akatsuki Park, there are monuments of Rikkyo Gakuin and Women's Academy's Birthplace.

Rikkyo Gakuin 2.jpgJoshigakuin.JPGThe birthplace of Keio Gijuku is also around here.

Keio Hassho.JPGIn addition, there are still famous and prestigious schools that originated in this area, such as Aoyama Gakuin and Meiji Gakuin.

Why don't you visit the map with one hand?

"Chari Walk" along Nihonbashi River (1)

[Kenken] September 25, 2014 09:00

The other day, as a "boat sightseeing," I had a small cruise on the Nihonbashi River starting from Nihonbashi, returning from the Sumida River to the Kanda River and the Nihonbashi River to Nihonbashi.

The scenery seen from the water and the boat was certainly new and fun, but I thought, "Let's see various spots around the river", so after a long absence I took an "early walk"

The start of this day is from Toyomi Bridge. Toyomi Bashi.JPGThe shop you care about at the foot of the bridge is Mile Post (Shinkawa 1-29-6). A number of beautiful bicycles through the window. Yes, I'm worried. I'd like to ask you slowly next time.

It is said that the next Mile Post Cafe is currently closed. I would like to ask you when this is also reopened.

Cycling Shop.JPGCycling Shop 2.JPG

There is a little green on the left side of Toyomi Bridge across the Hakozakicho River. There was a notice here that there was a thing called Takao Inarisha (10-7, Nihonbashi-Hakozakicho). Now there is a small torii, worship hall, about 100 meters northwest of here.

Takao Jinja.JPGThe history of this shrine is ruined.

A prostitute named "Dayu Takao" tried to pile up a lot of money and make it his own (although the name is also specified in the guide of the shrine.)...As a result of rejecting the invitation, he was killed in the Sumida River and moved to Kawanaka. A few days later, a monk who had a hermitage nearby buried the body launched on the riverbank, and people who knew the background built the shrine and worshiped it. The stop is amazing that the body (skull) is worshiped as a god of worship.

Next is Minato Bridge. Rather than a photo of Minato Bridge itself, Toyomi Bridge, which also took pictures of Mizkan's large building from Minato Bridge, might be better.

Mitsukan and Toyomibashi.JPGOn the way to Kayaba Bridge, you will pass through the Kirin Nihonbashi Building (2-5 Nihonbashi Koamicho). It seems that there is a "Draft Masters School" here.

I'd like to go to Kirin Beer, but it seems to be for restaurants....(laughs).

Kirin Draft Maister School.JPGSo Chiba Bridge. Beyond the bridge, you can see a large building of Kao (1-14-10 Nihonbashi Kayabacho) on the Kayabacho side.

In the opposite direction, there is also a big building of Pentel (7-2 Nihonbashi Koamicho). (I forgot to take a picture)

Well, it might be better for Pentel to say that it is under the next armor bridge than Kayaba Bridge.

Kayababashi and Kao.JPG

When you cross the armor bridge, you will see a magnificent building of the Tokyo Stock Exchange in front of you.

Yoroi bashi.JPGtoukyoushoukenntorihikijo.JPG

From the viewpoint of the exchange, Kabuto Shrine (Nihonbashi Kabutocho 1-12) is located on the river side.

The building itself seems to be new in 1971, but the "Kabutoiwa" in the precincts dates back to the role of the previous nine years (1050), and the name of the town is also This rock It looks like a very deep shrine that was named after it.

kabuto jinja.JPG kabutoiwa.JPG

When I came to the next Edobashi and the monument of "the birthplace of mail" in front of it, and the Nihonbashi Post Office with the statue of "Maejima Mitsu", this time is out of time.

Next time, let's start around Edobashi and Nihonbashi.

Slightly drop in souvenirs...Ningyocho

[Kenken] July 29, 2014 14:00

All you have to do is finish your business in Shimbashi on Saturday morning, and then prepare a souvenir for the banquet at night.

Take the Toei Asakusa Line, get off at Ningyocho, and go to the Suitengu intersection, which has a wider sky than usual due to temporary relocation to build a new main hall.

The recommendation in the house is Mr. Mihara-do (1-14-10 Nihonbashi Ningyocho) at the Suitengu intersection.

Miharado.JPGShio Senbei.JPG

The salt rice cracker here has a crushing feeling of rice, and although it is thin, the chewy and the taste of soy sauce are solid, and I am delicious.

In addition to souvenirs, I bought a little for my family.

Well, after the souvenir, I'd like to buy lunch.

What I've always been worried about before was Ningyocho Imahan's side dish shop (1-14-5 Nihonbashi Ningyocho).

Imahan.JPG

Here, I bought sukiyaki croquettes and homemade menchikatsu and went home.

menchi Croquette 3.jpg

The sukiyaki croquette was thick and volumey, and the seasoning was undervalued, and it was a taste that made you feel the sukiyaki itself. I'm very satisfied!

I don't have any complaints. Even if it was a little cold, it was delicious enough!

The upper left of the photo is the asparagus meat roll. This was also good. Oh, I'm shredded cabbage in the middle.

I'm full. Thank you for your dinner.

Nihonbashi Seven Lucky Gods, early morning bicycle turn

[Kenken] June 24, 2014 14:00

One of my favorite things is to go around the city early in the morning by MY chari (bicycle).

On this day, we had a "chari walk" in the so-called "Nihonbashi Seven Lucky Gods" in the neighborhood of Ningyocho.

Even if you say "Seven" Fukujin, you go around a total of eight shrines. It seems that there are two shrines dedicated to Ebisu, so it seems that it is regarded as more thankful.

Koami Shrine enshrines Fukurokuju and Benzaiten because it departs from home before 5 o'clock and is first located closest to home. There is "Senrai Benten" on the left side after entering.

Koami.JPG

koami zeniarai 1.JPG koami zeniarai 2.JPG

From Koami Shrine, go semi-clockwise, next is Chanogi Shrine. You are worshiping Hotei-sama.

This is the atmosphere of a shrine in the middle of the city, a valley of buildings.

Chanoki.JPG

Tengu Shrine, which enshrines the third Benzaiten and is famous for giving birth and giving birth to children, has been temporarily relocated near Hamacho Park due to new construction.

Suitengu in progress.JPG

Suitengu Temporary.JPG

Matsushima Shrine (Otori Shrine), which enshrines great power gods, is just a shrine in the middle of the city. The first floor of the building is a shrine.

Matsusima.JPG

Suehiro Shrine, which enshrines Bishamonten, is particularly beneficial for fighting and avoiding disasters.

Suehiro.JPG

It is said that the sixth Kasama Inari Shrine was separated from Hitachi Kasama Shrine, the three major Inari shrines at the end of the Edo period. It worships the god of longevity, Kotobukijin.Kasama Inari.JPG

Sugimori Shrine worships Ebisu God. This shrine was also famous as a place for lottery performances, which was popular during the Edo period. It seems that the proceeds were used for the renovation of shrines and temples even though it is a lottery.

Suginomori 1.JPG

This is the 8th place to walk around Ningyocho in the early morning by bicycle. Takarada Ebisu Shrine is also a shrine dedicated to Ebisu God.

Ebisu God, located in the center of altar, said, "It is said to be a work of Unkei or Jingoro left and is worth a look!" I looked into it, but the door of the altar was closed tightly (laughs).

takarada Ebisu.JPG

"Nihonbashi Seven Lucky Gods" goes around by bicycle. It was a quick turn in less than 2 hours, is there any benefit? I think it will have some effect on exercise....。

On the next occasion, I would like to ask you slowly one by one.
