For lunch, 3-4-chome Muromachi.
First of all, I realize that a large building has been demolished and there are a number of things under construction.
It is said that Chuo-dori, including the area around Nihonbashi on the south side, will be transformed toward 2020, but the townscape of downtown areas from the Edo period has been improved. It will be the same. I am looking forward to the green space that can be built next to Fukutoku Shrine in the near future.
There is a gallery called "Sankei-dong" in Muromachi 4-chome. Drop in from time to time and taste the seasons. I've got it.
There was a picture of Tatsuo Takayama, one of the Japanese painting Five Mountains, which was a quiet place in Western Europe. Perhaps it's a rural landscape, an image landscape painting that looks like a tree like Van Gogh's thread cedar is protecting the house with a shyness. "Sankei-dong" was a money exchange business in the Edo period, or has been running an art dealer at the present location since the Taisho era. As an oasis in the city center, I would like to visit many times.

And Muromachi 3-chome, here is also being rebuilt.
At the turn of the season in March, May, and December during the Edo period, it is also the site of the bustling Juken Store.

I went to Kofunecho for lunch.
1) First, we had a lunch with "Funasushi" and it was a reward for the weekend. It has a quiet appearance, and the crisp sushi held by Mr. Itamae is delicious.
2) And if you go a little to the right, you will find Iwashiro Inari Shrine, a banner that says Success XX. After all, in the Edo period, it was just said to be "Iseya, Inari, dog droppings", and everywhere. You have Mr. Inari.
3) Then, as a souvenir to my house, I bought a dorayaki of the confectioner "Higetsudo". On the spot He put the bean paste (the seal of rabbit and cherry blossoms), and put it in such a wonderful bag (200 yen). Did you know that you will make dorayaki with an original brand seal here? By all means, please. http://nitigetudou.com/
4) Finally, we went to the Kanji Art Exhibition of "Iba Sen" who was worried about Zutting. Looking closely, I finally found that the character "Ki" is written like a person's laughing face. I understand (the mouth is open and you can see it on a smiling face - the mouth part represents a vessel for sake and cooking - Description of hieroglyphic characters unraveled by Shizuka Shirakawa, a master of ancient kanji studies.
I hope you all have a good weekend when you feel refreshed.

On 1/16, at the International Exchange Salon hosted by the Chuo-ku Cultural and International Exchange Promotion Association I enjoyed making kites with people from all over the country (volunteer).
The place is Tsukiji Akashicho, which has been a foreign settlement since the Meiji era. Lecturer is Shigeki of Taimeiken's "Kite Museum" and many kites. It was exhibited at the venue, and it was created on the kite kit while drawing the desired design.
Museum of kites; https://www.taimeiken.co.jp/museum.html
(By the way, I'm the Red Dharma's design)
To the nearby Akatsuki Park Let's fly a kite! I hate it, because the wind was too low, it didn't rise too high, but The memories of childhood can be revived, and the foreigners can have fun at will. I was spending time. There were people from many countries such as China, Vietnam and Spain. (I'm going to start flying kites somewhere next time.)
By the way, more than 5,000 foreigners live in Chuo-ku and are increasing. From now on, I think the spirit of OMOTENASHI will be important.

After a long time, I went to Ginza in the evening.
1) First of all, At the Ginza Brick Gallery in 4-chome (next to Kabukiza, next to You, famous for omelets). I've been watching the work of Eizo Kinoshita (Edo Ken 1st grade holder) who is an architect and writes Edo watercolors. How Edo Castle was built, what kind of place Kanda was at that time, etc. I looked at it with great interest. http://ginzarengagarou.com/exhibition/2016/eizo_kinoshita.php
2) And then 1-chome POLA MUSEUM ANNEX, "Celebration Sohoi", was used as a ukiyo-e of Edo. I thought about the ancient history of the pursuit of beauty, such as makeup tools. http://www.po-holdings.co.jp/m-annex/
3) Finally, it is Bulgari Ginza Tower in 2-chome. It's transformed into a city where other luxury brand stores gather.
On the way back, we went back with Kimuraya's Anpan. I'd like to eat slowly next time.

It was in the New Year's pine tree that passed by a hurry. At the end of last year, I participated in the stamp rally called "Toto norenkai". Many are located in places called downtown Tokyo (Chuo-ku, Taito-ku, Sumida-ku, Arakawa-ku, Koto-ku, Chiyoda-ku, Minato-ku). It is a story that he made good legs regardless of the rain and wind while traveling back and forth between Edo and the present (exaggeration! I'm going alone.
"Toto norenkai" is a collection of 54 goodwill shops founded in Edo and Meiji eras and has a history of more than three generations and 100 years in Tokyo. It is surprising that it was launched during the postwar turmoil period of 1951. Tsukudani, eel, amazake, dumplings, glasses, fruits, laver, lacquerware, Japanese paper, tea, brush, bento, folding fan, toothpicks, etc. Knife, Inari sushi, sweets, taiko, tempura, sukiyaki, tofu, Western cuisine, soba, footwear, Buddhist altars, dolls, duck, sake, anko pot, Bread, kimono, hahabahabaki, tabi, hampan, bonito flakes and everyday items such as clothing, food and shelter are friendly. Meanwhile, 26 long-established brands have shops in Chuo-ku. (Chuo-ku, \ (^ o ^)/)

I usually stopped by several shops, but in the future it seems that I will go more easily.

At "TOHO Cinema" on the 3rd floor of COREDO Muromachi 2, I watched "Chiune Sugihara SUGIHARA CHIUNE".
Since it was only in the morning / lunch section, I had faced events more than 70 years ago before the war before lunch. During the turbulent World War II, he turned to the Japanese government and issued a Viza of Life in Lithuania to save 6,000 Jewish refugees. This is the true story of a person (diplomat). http://www.sugihara-chiune.jp/
The fact that there is such a movie theater in Nihonbashi itself is a great opportunity for Tokyo, where the 2020 Olympics will be held. I feel new possibilities. The sound is also quite good as a seat to rest your tired body during sightseeing in Nihonbashi.
Also, one day in late December, in a corner of the underground shopping mall of Mitsukoshimae Station, the opportunity to actually see robots such as pepper and UNI-CUB. In addition to Android with artificial intelligence, there is also an era when it helps society little by little. I feel like I'm in front of you. From next year onwards, I feel like the day that will appear in Nihonbashi will come. Thank you in 2015 and 2016.
