I went to Betara City!

I'm not good at radish and I can't eat takuan, but this is my first challenge to pickle it.

While various stalls are simmering, one bite of pickles for tasting.

I feel like I'm flying off the stage of Shimizu

I put it in my mouth (>_<)

Oh~? Personally, I would like to refrain from commenting concretely, but Kamogawa may be said to be a representative specialty of Tokyo. At least, it's okay because it didn't taste like takuan.

My purpose is not to pickle pickles, but to enjoy the atmosphere of the festival that takes place in front of the gate of Takarada Ebisu Shrine and its neighborhood. The hidden feature of this festival is that long-established famous stores in Nihonbashi serve limited menus and products only at this time. The lineup of stalls, which are famous as zurari, includes sample samples stabbed on toothpicks, such as Castella's "Civilizationdo", Ningyocho's "Koharuken", a long-established eel restaurant "Ise Sada", and a famous sukiyaki restaurant "Imahan". It is a first-class gourmet that allows you to taste the name of today's dinner nationwide by simply picking it.

Even so, this traditional bustle has continued since the Edo period. Is it okay to be registered as a World Memory Heritage? It's so nostalgic that you can think of it. Was the simple original scenery seen in any country originating here in Nihonbashiodenmacho?

Many festivals are held in Tokyo during this season, but this year I remember the summer festival in Hokkaido, probably because it is a bit chilly (I am Dosanko).

Many tourists from overseas came along with the locals, and the gentle smile of the stalls who would entertain comfortably with outsiders like me was impressive.

After buying a toothbrush at a famous long-established Edo shop from the Edo period, take a break at "Itamae Bar" just before it.

It seems that this was originally a sushi restaurant, and Mr. Itamae, a creative dish, opened in the same store as it was. It looks a little expensive, but it is recommended for a common and reasonable price setting.

There are plenty of wine and sake menus, and you can enjoy unique dishes such as a slightly nationalized Untan pasta and Japanese beef nigiri sushi (¥180).

Even though I went to Bettara City, I turned to Bettara pickles and turned to a careless glu navigation system, so I was rude ~ (>_<)

Actually, next month, I will be in charge of a guide on a mini-tour from Nihonbashi to Kanda at the Oedo Tokyo Manman Festival, and it was a stroll that also served as a preview.

In this tour, you will step not only in Chuo-ku, but also in Chiyoda-ku, and will guide you through the downtown atmosphere of Kanda neighborhood.

It doesn't mean that another world is spreading even if you cross the border. The current 23 wards of Tokyo have increased or decreased several times since the Meiji era (it seems that there were 35 wards in 1932!) Each area partition has been changed repeatedly due to integration and other factors. We hope that you can enjoy walking around the world while keeping an eye on such history.
