Minato Bridge

[pont] June 30, 2015 08:00

It is Minato Bridge over the Nihonbashi River.

F1000003.JPG

There was a large cherry tree at the foot of the bridge.

In April, the flowers bloom so beautiful that passers-by stops, but the flowers bloom.
There's nothing right now in June and I'm calm.
It's a typical Showa-style bridge.

I usually walk across this bridge from Hakozaki to Kayabacho, so I go to Kayabacho.

It feels strange when you go down by boat from Nihonbashi.

There were many canals in Edo, which used to be a water transport town, but there were many canals.
What remains reclaimed is a small surface of the water flowing into the Sumida River.

It is a scenery that I want to keep carefully because there is nothing wrong with it.

A mysterious building in Hakozaki-cho

[pont] April 14, 2015 09:00

Get off at Suitengumae Station and walk back street from Hakozaki T-CAT to Hakozaki Park.

At first glance, there is a mysterious building that you don't know what to use.

During the imperial procession Union of portable shrine in Tomioka Hachimangu Shrine

The Hakoshimachikai, which is used

It's a warehouse for mikoshi.

Most of Chuo-ku are Kanda Myojin and Hiyoshi Shrine.

In the town of shrine parishioner, the Hakozaki and the Shinkawa area are located.

Located in Koto Ward on the opposite bank of the Sumida River
It's shrine parishioner town in Tomioka Hachimangu Shrine.

The Hakozaki and Shinkawa districts and the Eidaijima district on the opposite bank are located.

The shallows that were located on the Sumida River during the Edo period.

Land made by reclaiming land
There is something in common.

As a result, the Hakozaki and Shinkawa districts are now in place.
In the same landfill, not Kanda Myojin

One of the children of Tomioka Hachimangu Shrine

In the sense of humanity of the people of the Edo period

It seems to be the result of being considered natural.

The portable shrine Union imperial procession, which consists of the town of shrine parishioner in Tomioka Hachimangu Shrine.

As a water festival held once every three years

It's famous, but it's soaked mikoshi.

It is said that it will take a year to dry completely.

The last time the portable shrine Union imperial procession was in August 2014.
The water has not yet dried completely

It is kept in a safe place in the warehouse.

Unfortunately, the shutters are usually closed.

You can't see the mikoshi itself, but you can't see it.

If you see this building when you go to T-CAT or Hakozaki Park, you can see it.

You can remember it as a storage place for important mikoshi in Hakozaki.

I'm glad.
