The Bridgestone Museum will be closed soon

[Tsukuda-kun] April 26, 2015 16:00

The Bridgestone Museum of Art in Kyobashi is famous for its works that are familiar with textbooks, but it will be closed from May 18 and newly built.

I'm looking forward to the newly reborn museum, but I'll keep it for a few years, so if you like painting, please hurry. A total of about 160 best selections selected from the Ishibashi Foundation collection are waiting for you.

In the hall, Manet, who is called impressionist's father, welcomes you upright, and you will see Renoir's rich women and two works of Monet's water lilies. It makes me want to show off to everyone that there is an art museum in Chuo-ku where you can see such a good work. It's a pity that I can't meet my favorite works such as Van Gogh, Gogh, Cezanne and Picasso for a few years, but I can't wait for a day when I can relax and interact with the works in Chuo-ku in the middle of Tokyo and spend a luxurious time.

If you like to visit museums, a more advantageous way is to get the 2015 edition of the Museum Common Ticket around Tokyo Station.

However, there are rumors that this year's tickets have been sold out ... This ticket is a very advantageous common ticket that allows you to enter the five museums around Tokyo Station-Bridgington Museum, Idemitsu Museum of Arts, Mitsui Memorial Museum, Mitsubishi Ichigokan Museum, Tokyo, and Tokyo Station Gallery once each exhibition held in 2015.
