Hokutosei, Hatago in Bakurocho

[Asunaro] December 23, 2016 09:00

Bakurocho was the stage of rakugo "Gojin Shutokuri" and "Walth of the Inn".

From the story, Bakurocho tells you the various aspects that was a post town.

One day, even more bustling turned into a wholesale district.

Modern buildings are lined up around JR Bakurocho Station.

It is also developing as an office district.

Meanwhile, an accommodation facility was born as if reminiscent of the past.

The in-car equipment of the sleeper train "Hokutosei" that has been reluctantly retired.

The hotel we used was built in a building directly connected to JR Bakurocho Station.

A new sensation that allows you to experience the blue train that has been a longing for.

It's an accommodation. The accommodation fee is also very reasonable, starting from 2500 yen.

If you want to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of a sleeper, why not use it?

I feel the busyness and liveliness of the New Year.

There is an atmosphere that softens the mind.

It's going to be in full bloom.

Preparation for the New Year

[Asunaro] December 12, 2016 09:00

On the next day, we take soot without breaking down at night.

The soot of Edo Castle was held on the 13th.
Learned from this as "the beginning of New Year's Day" in Edo City.
It was the day to start preparing for the New Year.

The night defeat is the 14th of Akaho Nanji's defeat.

Once the soot has been removed, the next day will be used for ornaments and Hagoita.
lucky items and New Year's goods have begun.

The old city of Yagenbori fudoson still remains today.

Enjoy the taste of a long-established soba restaurant

[Asunaro] December 4, 2016 18:00

In the middle of Edo, at the end of each month (eve of the year), labor, health and longevity, etc.
With the wish of "30th Soba / Eve Soba / Misoka Soba"
I had a habit of eating it.

On the eve of eating soba, it was only New Year's Eve at the end of the year.

In the midst of the hustle and bustle of the city.
It's fun.

In a calm restaurant with a pure Japanese style. It's interesting.

Yabu, Sarashina, one of the sandboxes of the three major genealogy of Japanese soba, Muromachi sandbox.

This signboard menu is the original "Tenzaru" and "Tenmori".
For cold soba noodles
It is served with warm soup with fried oysters.

Here, "Zaru" is a good thirst hit with Sarashina powder.
"Mori" with the highest fragrance of powder.

You can also enjoy "Soba-mae"!
