I visited on September 1 and had Mr. Nagai explain himself.
[Introduction of Hans Cruise]
Hans Cruzee (1920-1995), who grew up as an orphan in Chulich, Switzerland and started painting on his own at the age of 55, made a living while selling pictures on the street, and was familiar with cheap paper and cardboard, small animals, ranch scenery etc. It is a painting full of charm with natural and non-action expressions. When asked, "What kind of picture do you draw?", A variety of pictures are displayed that are difficult to answer. Because I studied and drew on my own, it is thought that it became a variety of pictures.
I draw familiar objects with Gouache (Gwasche) and felt pen.
* What is Guwasche: Opaque watercolor paints, or techniques and paintings using them. Modern gwash paints are made from water-soluble Arabic rubber mixed with pigment as a medium. Watercolor painters from France, Switzerland and Italy in the 18th century developed pastel-like expressions. In the 20th century, it has been used in a wide range of fields such as posters and illustrations.
[About the work]
The street flower-selling man "Cruzy" is positioned as a leading writer in the latter half of the second half of the 20th century, following Verifri, Muller, and Alloys, and after his death in 1995, many works have been stored in museums in Switzerland and France.
There are about 20 works on display in the gallery, and I would like to introduce some of them.
The picture where you can see the fish is made in cardboard mixed media 24.5x24.0cm in 1990. Many of the pictures are unknown in production. The selling price ranges from 200,000 yen to hundreds of thousands of yen.
As an aside, the singing voice of the lifetime remains on the tape, and these are records and CDs after death. It has been uploaded to YouTube, so if you are interested, please ask.
(In my opinion, I don't feel the "warm" atmosphere that I feel when looking at the picture. It was like a humming.
