[Ken-san] May 18, 2018 18:00

_20180518_111714.JPGThis is a photo of the festival of Sugimori Shrine, which is held from May 18 (Fri) to May 19 (Sat).

This year there were many hot days than usual, and when I was taking this picture (May 18) was also a hot day. The Sugimori Shrine Annual Festival is the main festival once every three years. Sugimori Shrine is one of the seven deities of Nihonbashi that enshrines Ebisu Ogami, and was counted as one of Edo Mimori (Sugimori, Yanagimori, Kasumori) in the Edo period, and is a venerable shrine that gathered Takashi from the common people to the daimyo. There is also Tomizuka that honors the lottery originating from the lottery.

This photo was taken in front of Nihonbashi Elementary School, and many foreign tourists and many elementary school students cheered with clapping.

_20180518_162723.JPGThe main festival is held once every three years, followed by 2021. By then, the Rakuby World Cup has been held, the era has changed, and the Tokyo Olympics have been held, and various events are waiting for a short period of time. Chuo-ku has already reached a population of 160,000 and has become lively. It has become certain that more than 30 million foreigners come to Japan a year, and finally 40 million people a year are no longer dreams.

It's Wasshoi from the old Edo town to the future town.

Beware of fire this year up to the third rooster.

[Ken-san] Nov. 13, 2017 09:00

It has long been said that there are many fires in the year with the three rooster, but the Great Fire of the Meiryaku era in 1657 (1657) remains in the history of burning most of the current Chuo-ku. It was an incident. It seems that this year was up to the third rooster. Anyway, it's "beware of fire." The photo shows the flag of "Beware of Fire" fluttering on Ningyocho Street. "Autumn Fire Prevention Week".

_20171108_182226.JPG Next to "Beware of Fire" is one of the two "Karakuri Ogura" on Ningyocho-dori, "Edo Fire Discharge Karakuri Ogura". This area was the district in charge of the "Hagumi" of the Edo fire extinguishing "Iroha 48 sets". It was the second largest group in Edo with nearly 600 people. Another "Karakuri Ogura" is "Edo Rakugo Karakuri Ogura" opposite the street. Both shows are short for about 2 minutes every hour from 11:00 to 19:00, but dolls appear with the sound and make you feel the atmosphere of Edo.

DSC_1711.JPG The photo above is Matsushima Shrine (Otori Shrine), one of the Nihonbashi Seven Lucky Gods. The god of worship is "Oguro God". In November, the only "Rooster Market" in Nihonbashi will be held. This year, November 6, 18, and 30 is the date of the event.

In the fall of reading.

[Ken-san] 09:00 on October 9, 2017

_20171004_082317.JPG I'm happy news that Kazuo Ishiguro, a Japanese-American from Nagasaki, won the Nobel Prize in Literature this year. With the spread of smartphones, the number of people reading books has decreased, but during this period when there are many qualification tests and certification tests, some people are reading books on the train and studying, and among young people There are many people who are reading books. That's why I bought a book and started reading at Bunkyodo Bookstore in Ningyocho because it was the fall of reading. One book is "Chuo-ku Monoshiri Encyclopedia", and the other is "Mascarade Night" by Keigo Higashino.

"Chuo-ku Monoshiri Encyclopedia" is also a Chuo-ku sightseeing certification textbook. I bought it last year, but I'd like to read it again this year. Last year, I put this book in a bicycle basket and went here and there to the actual place. (The incident is happening on site! There is also a word that says that last year's book was wrapped around, and the sentence became dirty with a ballpoint pen, so I read it again as a new one and a review.

The other "Mascarade Night" is the third work of the "Mascarade Hotel" series by Keigo Higashino, a writer who loves Ningyocho. The hotel model is the Royal Park Hotel in Suitengu. Information from the weekly magazine at the end of August that "Mascarade Hotel" is being made into a movie, starring Takuya Kimura and Masami Nagasawa, scripting is Yasushi Fukuda of "HERO", but if true, Hiroshi Abe's newcomer series "When the curtain of prayer falls", and next year's Taiga drama series Yashiki "Saigo Don" is a tourist destination at Nihonbashi Elementary School (Saigo Takamori). Next year, Ningyocho and around Suitengu are likely to be lively due to the ripple effects of movies and TV dramas.

The photo is a poster of the Chuo-ku Tourism Certification affixed outside Bunkyo-do's shop. If you go to Bunkyodo, you will find a lot of books about Chuo-ku and Nihonbashi. Of course, there is also a lot of "Chuo-ku Monoshiri Encyclopedia".

The 10th Chuo-ku Tourism Certification will be held on January 27, 2018 (Saturday) for the certification venue [Ginza venue] is Courtyard Marriott Ginza Tobu Hotel, and [Nihonbashi venue] is the Royal Park Hotel. The application has already started on October 1, so details ...

Please see the homepage of Chuo-ku Tourism Certification http://www.chuoku-kentei.jp/.

Maybe there is "Kimtaku" and "Masami Nagasawa" at the front of the hotel at the certification venue?

The deadline for the 2018 Tokyo Marathon entry is approaching.

[Ken-san] August 27, 2017 16:00

Marathon - Nihonbashi Runner Synthetic -02.png

The 2018 Tokyo Marathon will be held on February 25 (Sun) next year. The deadline for entries for general runners is until August 31. I've been less than a week. Those who have forgotten to apply, those who are worried about what to do because they are not confident, or regret not to apply later because they do not have time, apply and get your daily results at this tournament.

The 42.195km finish was on Gyoyuki Street in front of Tokyo Station since last year, and it was even more exciting. The Tokyo Marathon, which impresses the viewers, will be even greater if you run.

This course, which runs through famous places in Tokyo, runs through Nihonbashi and Ginza in Chuo-ku, and other districts of Chuo-ku, and receives support from others, while the scenery seen from the road that you can not usually run can be seen from runners.

In addition, the 10km finish will be at the Nihonbashi intersection, so the support of Chuo-ku will also be exciting. If you would like to participate, please apply.

Application guidelines are available at http://www.marathon.tokyo/runner/guideline/.

For the course map, please refer to http://www.marathon.tokyo/about/course/.

"When the curtain of prayer comes down"

[Ken-san] July 7, 2017 16:00

_20170707_090012.JPG

The reasoning novel "When the curtain of prayer comes off" is the tenth work of the "Kyoichiro Kaga Series" by Keigo Higashino. This work will be turned into a movie and will be released in 2018. It is a series that hit "newcomers" on TV and movies and "Kirin's Tsubasa" in movies.

The original, released in 2013, won the 48th Eiji Yoshikawa Literature Prize in 2014.

This is a story in which a detective Kyoichiro Kaga working at Nihonbashi Station hunts down the criminal in Chuo-ku. This is a series that hunted down the criminals such as "newcomers" and "Kirin no Tsubasa", but I am looking forward to what kind of activities I will play this time.

_20170707_083508.JPG

It seems that shooting has already progressed considerably. Of course, the shooting location also includes Chuo-ku.

Actually, I also saw the filming site. I saw Hiroshi Abe on my back live. It's cool.

The cast is not only Kyoichiro Kaga, but also Hiroshi Abe, the partner is Junpei Yokomizo, and the characters this time are Nanako Matsushima, Tsutomu Yamazaki, Rena Tanaka, Fumiyo Kohinata, and Ran Ito.

In the past, some actors have attracted attention from this series, including Yui Aragaki, Satomi Ishihara, Tori Matsuzaka, and Masaki Sugata.

Some novels include Meijiza and sports centers. Other movies and actual scenery, such as stories of bridges related to Chuo-ku, are linked. Also, the director of this movie is Katsui Fukuzawa, the director of that "Naoki Hanzawa". I think it will be a fun movie. In Keigo Higashino's novel, there are works called "Mascarade Hotel" and "Mascarade Eve" modeled on the Royal Park Hotel, and some works related to Chuo-ku are expected to be visualized in the future.

Chuo-ku is a place where many TV and movies are filmed. As soon as you walk, there may be a famous person nearby.
