In the neighboring town of Monzen-Nakamachi, Koto-ku, shrine parishioner in Tomioka Hachimangu Shrine also includes Shinkawa and Hakozaki in Chuo-ku. This year, at the main festival held once every three years, 55 portable shrines from each shrine parishioner town council ran out and paraded through Koto-ku and Chuo-ku with a vigorous shout of "Wasshoi, Wasshoi," and water was actively poured from the roadside, also known as the "Wasshoi Festival." The festival of Fukagawa Hachiman is one of the three major festivals in Edo, along with the Kanda festival and Sanno festivals. After leaving Yawata early in the morning, portable shrine walked around Koto-ku and then crossed Kiyosu Bridge to Chuo-ku. Pass through Hakozaki, have lunch in Shinkawa, cross the Eitai Bridge, and go to Yawata again. In the Edo period, this Eitai Bridge collapsed during the festival. It is famous for the catastrophe and is also the subject of the rakugo "Eitai Bridge". The weather was bad before and after this day, but fortunately there was no rain on this day, and the water hung on the sunshine reflected glittering, and fantastic photos were taken in the heat.
