In 2018, the gunpowder Inari Shrine Reitaisai festival was served.

♪ 1178 Gunshu Inari Shrine Reitaisai festival

Thursday, May 3 8:00 a.m. The rain that began to fall from the night before weakened in the morning, and the sky gradually became brighter. In the weather forecast, it will rise to 28 degrees. It's still cloudy, but it's humid and doesn't require a jacket. When I went to Tepposu Park, the Horai, who came out of Kariya, was surrounded by many people. Are they friends who have been carrying mikoshi together since childhood? Some people talk to each other closely. Everyone seems to be waiting for that time to come yet.

Around 8:30 a.m. I heard the sound of the drums from the gunpowder Inari Shrine, and turned my feet in a hurry. The ceremony of the shrine begins. Outside the shrine, there is a rickshaw that participates in the brass band, Shinko Festival imperial procession. In front of the precincts of worship hall, the head office of portable shrine is enshrined, and in Kagura Hall, the artillery East Hayashi plays. The ceremony of Miyade began as the pupils and spectators watched. Headquarters portable shrine is a work from 1926 by Sangoro Akiyama, who still has a store in Hatchobori. It is a magnificent thing of 4 feet and 1 inch and 5 minutes (about 1m30cm). And finally, at the head office of portable shrine. By this time, the rain had risen completely, and the sun was shining.

In the afternoon, mikoshi from each town council went around the alleys of each town, and then went to the shrine. At the rest area on the way, the town council members were busy preparing tea and candy for the bearers and spectators while watching the mikoshi approaching. It's a few minutes for adults, so it's very hard.

5.3minato3mm.JPG

On this day, throughout the day, shouts and lively voices echoed from here and there. The whole town is filled with enthusiasm because the shrine parishioner town council sends out mikoshi all at once. The mikoshi of the neighboring town council also passes through the nearby alley, and if you think it looks over there, a mikoshi will come here, so it's a special day anyway. It is still impressive to see the mikoshi in our town go through the alleys. Minato-ko only watched from afar, but felt very proud. Thanks to you, we were blessed with the weather on the 4th and 5th the next day. Thank you very much for your help.

Gather, portable shrine! 2

[Minato kid] May 5, 2018 18:00

On the 3rd tomorrow, "Gojinza 1178 Gunshu Inari Shrine Reitaisai festival" Shinko Festival Horai and carrying of miniature shrines will be held. At each shrine parishioner town council, a portable shrine was lined up in Kariya. Today, we held a ceremony to put the spirits, and everyone greeted each town council. After exchanging words at the sacred wine office, they met several occasions to pray for the success of the festival with one closing. In front of the mikoshi, the first items such as rice, salt, water, fresh fish and bamboo shoots are offered.

The main festival, once every three years, "Gojinza 1178 Gunshu Inari Shrine Reitaisai festival", will finally be held on May 2nd. A mikoshi finally showed up in Kariya, where construction began in April.

It is one of the largest towns in portable shrine, and is known as portable shrine, the best town in Japan for both dignity and tradition. The crest place is commonly known as "gun horn". On the roof, a phoenix stretches its chest and spreads its wings greatly.

Tepposhu Inari Shrine was founded in the early Heian period. It was listed as one of the 14 Edo ancient shrine companies, and was known to all over the country, saying, "Edo Minato has a gunshot." In addition to being the god of the land, he also gathers the religions of sailors and protects the prosperity of the land and the safety of voyage. The day of the Imperial Palace was April 15, 1177 years ago, and the Reitaisai festival was held on that day for many years, but in the first year of the Meiji era, it changed to a new calendar on May 4, and it seems to be today .

The sidewalk in Chuo-ku is interesting!

[Minato kid] April 11, 2018 14:00

Nice to meet you. This is "Minatokko-chan" who joined the correspondent this year. Thank you very much.

hodom01.JPG

When I first came to Chuo-ku, I was surprised that the sidewalk was beautiful. There are many sidewalks paved to make it easy to walk, various colors and patterns, street trees lined up, bicycle lanes, cute pictures, etc. You. Please let me introduce the wonderful sidewalks found in Chuo-ku.

♪Welcome to the sidewalk museum!

In Chuo-ku, there are nicknames on various streets. It seems that there is a wish that it will be an easy-to-understand way for residents of the city in their lives. There are a total of 98 routes, including 43 routes in the Kyobashi area, 45 routes in the Nihonbashi area, and 10 routes in the Tsukishima area.

hodom02.JPG

First of all, this is the sidewalk of Minato 1-chome. At my feet, I found a picture of a gun. There seems to be various theories why this town came to be called "gungunsu". One is that the riverbank from the mouth of Hatchobori to Akashicho was shaped like a gun (matchlock musket's tube). The other is that Masatsugu Inoue and Naoken Inatomi, who played the shogunate artillery, played a trial shot of the large cylinder (currently near Minato 3-chome).

hodom03.JPG hodom04.JPG

This is the sidewalk of St. Luke Street. Meiji period, a pattern that tells you that this was a foreign settlement, decorates your feet. The illustrations that show the characteristics of the region are charming.

The top is the sidewalk of Tsukiji River Park and Akatsuki Bridge. The characters were hidden here. The letters of the block are assembled with "flower azalea of the ward", and a picture of red azalea is expressed on top of it. On the other side of the sidewalk, a pattern indicating east, west, north and south was shaped. It's interesting!

There were other sidewalks where the flower azaleas of the city were drawn.

This pattern is set up on the "History and Culture Promenade" course maintained by Tokyo from 1983 to 1995. This promenade has 23 courses in Tokyo, with a total of 240.5 km.

There was also a nice sidewalk on the bridge.

This is Tsukuda-ohashi Bridge. From a distance, it looks like the sparkling waves. I play harmony with the Sumida River flowing through my feet.

hodom12.JPG

This is "Aioi Bridge". It expresses the swell of the waves.

The paved sidewalk is hard to slip on rainy days and is easy for anyone to use. Chuo-ku is a pedestrian-friendly town, isn't it?

So far, I've introduced Minato kid's well known path. I want to walk in Chuo-ku, cherishing the road that I have never walked, the place I have never been to, and the encounter with the road in the future. .
