The Yasaka-jinja Shrine in subsidiary shrine sits in the precincts of Sanno Hie-jinja Shrine (Nagata-cho, Chiyoda-ku). It is a shrine that inherits Tennosha Ichinomiya, which was once the guardian deity of Minami Temmacho (currently Chuo-dori on both sides of Kyobashi 1-3 chome). Together with the two palaces of Otemmacho and the three palaces of Kodemmacho (later Kofunecho), it forms a corner of Edo Santenno, and the lively atmosphere of Gionkai resting place of portable shrines is depicted in the Edo Famous Zoukai.
In Gozu Tenno and Susanoonomikoto, enshrined deity was said to have been obsessed with the belief of the commercial and agricultural guardian angel and the eradication of evil illness before the Edo period. In 1885, Kanda-jinja Shrine was hit by a fire and Tennosha was burned down, and shrine parishioner Minami Temmacho and others recommended the Yasaka-jinja Shrine on the grounds of Hie-jinja Shrine.
komainu (lower right) and stone lantern dedicated to the old shrines in 1820 (1820) were relocated from Kanda-jinja Shrine in 1901. The lantern is engraved with "Tennogu" (left photo) and "Minami Temmacho" (right photo), and the thoughts of the people at that time speak. @ Akira Makibuchi

At the end of the year, Chushingura in the Genroku era attracts attention. It is said that the surgeon Doyu Kurisaki who treated Yoshio Kira Ueno, a Takaya who was cut by Takumi Asanouchi in the blade wound incident (Akaho incident) in Edo Castle. The following year, Yoshio Kira was defeated by Nanji Akaho and others. Now these two are buried in the same temple. I wonder if the mansion of Michiari was in Hatchobori.
Doyu Kurisaki (Kurisaki, How = 1660 (1660)-1726 (1726)) is a mid-Edo surgeon. A doctor from the Kurisaki style of Nagasaki. Completed Kurisaki-style surgery for his uncle Masakatsu (2nd Michiki)'s high brother Torikai Michibushi, and was called by the Shogunate to become a government doctor. The name of Michiari was named after the descendants were named for generations, and the Kurisaki-ryu was called the three families of Nagasaki Surgery along with Narabayashi and Yoshio. It is known for providing emergency treatment in 1701 (1701) in the event of a wound in the hall of Yoshinosuke Kira Ueno. (From the Asahi Japanese History Encyclopedia)
It is said that the worship mansion that named Doyu Kurisaki for generations was located in Hatchobori Nagasawacho. The cut-out map of the late Edo period (attached figure) reads "Surgeon Doyu Kurisaki". The current location is Hatchobori 3-chome, near the intersection of Shin-ohashi-dori St. and Kajibashi Street.

The Kira Uenosuke Yoshio Tomb (left photo) and Doyu Kurisaki Tomb (right photo) are located at the familiar Soto sect Yorozu Shoin Kounji Temple (4-14-1 Kamitakada, Nakano-ku). The temple was originally located in Nagatacho, and moved to its current location in 1913 after passing through Ichigaya. There is a tombstone for four generations in the Bodaiji Temple of the Kira family. The death of retainer, who died with Yoshio Kira, is engraved as "December 15, 1702." @ Akira Makibuchi

Two fire hydrants remain on Bank of Japan Street, sandwiched between the head office of the Bank of Japan and Mitsui Main Building. It is a "eramono" that is rarely seen now, and you can feel nostalgia along with the quaint building of the Bank of Japan.

The fire hydrant on the left says "fire prevention water supply", and is the badge of the police?
On the right, it says "cannot be used."
At the same time, as a fire extinguishing equipment, there was such a fire extinguishing tank in different locations.

Located at the site of Hakozaki Bridge near the entrance to Hakozaki on the Mukojima Line No. 6, there is a display of "Fire extinguishing tank Chuo-ku". Recently, there is a mania called Manholer who collects manhole photos. @ Akira Makibuchi
