"Weeping plum" in front of Mikimoto Pearl Store

[Yurikamome] January 28, 2010 08:30

I found "Weeping plum" in front of the Mikimoto Pearl store in Ginza.

It is open until February 9th.

Weeping plum

Do you know why it becomes "weeping plum"?

Weeping branches grow faster than those that do not weeping.

The long stretched branches cannot be supported by their own and bent, and the branches become woody and fixed.

The above photo is a little lonely, so I took a big picture.

The "screw" part is neatly organized with "butterproof antiques", etc., and the feeling of waiting for spring appears well.

[Yurikamome] January 26, 2010 17:00

Ginza Event Plaza (next to Exit B2 on the premises of Ginza Station)

Ginza ubiquitousus from Miki-chan. JPG

In Tokyo, an experiment to guide Ginza using ubiquitous technology has been started.

The experimental area is on the ground and underground of Ginza-dori and Harumi-dori St. (Sukiyabashi-dori-Mihara-dori) centering on the Ginza 4-chome intersection.

Ginza's history, hidden topics, store information, etc. are introduced in Japanese, English, Chinese, and Hangul.

Walk using the ubiquitous communicator mentioned above.

The time I borrowed was Monday, but it was available from 1 o'clock to 6 o'clock.

At the same time, I was able to go to Ginza other than Ginza ... Shinjuku area, but I enjoyed it only in Ginza.

The usage fee is free because it is the experience period until March 31 (except February 28).

Reservations are required.

Launched a guide service for portable information terminals at Hamarikyu Gardens

[Yurikamome] January 26, 2010 09:30

At Hamarikyu Garden, a guide service using a portable information terminal (ubiquitous communicator) has started as a new ornamental style.

On January 23 (Saturday), the opening ceremony was held at 10:00 in front of the “300 Years of Pine” in the Hamarikyu Garden, followed by greetings from the organizers and greetings from guests and related parties, and tape cuts were made. Was.

By holding a ubiquitous communicator and wearing a mini receiver on your jacket, you can hear explanations when you approach that location.

It is divided into "a pond course with tide", "a course around the garden", and "free walking course".

Built 350 years ago as a separate residence for the Shogun family, it became a detached palace of the Imperial Family in the Meiji era, became a stage for gorgeous banquets, and was designated as a national "special historic site" and "special scenic spot".

The ubiquitous communicator's guide will inform visitors of a number of information about the location from the present to the past.

Admission fee is required, but the cost for ubiquitousus is free.

Why don't you visit the garden in Ubiquitous?

Admission fee ¥300. ¥150. (65 years old or older)

Play with wild birds

[Yurikamome] January 19, 2010 17:00

I was able to take pictures of wild birds so close.

If you walk along Nishinaka-dori in Tsukishima toward Kachidoki, you will find Nishinakabashi.

There are few boat streets here, and various wild birds always swim and go up to the shore and play in the sun.

The male and female of northern pintail.

The feathers are gray and the black head is male.

The tail feather is up and it's cool.

     The brownish one is female.

The upper two birds on the left are male and female from tufted duck.

The more male the upper back and head are black and the white wings are.

The brownish female underneath it is.

Birds are generally more beautiful than males.

     It's a gull.

It is characterized by red beaks and red feet.

The outside of the eyes and the wings are a little gray.

The flying figure is cooler ...

Flowers and birds in the Hamarikyu Garden

[Yurikamome] January 19, 2010 13:00

At Hamarikyu, red plums, which signal the signs of spring, bloom beautifully and are now in full bloom.

Daffodils and Japanese allspice welcome guests with good fragrance.

The October cherry blossoms and Kofuku cherry blossoms, which have been blooming since last fall, still have small flowers.

From January 23rd (Saturday), ubiquitous will be introduced, and even if customers come alone on Weekday Day, you will be able to get information.

We will inform you about ubiquitous in the next time.

The 55th Cold Water Bathing Tournament (Tetsugunsu Inari Shrine)

[Yurikamome] January 12, 2010 12:00

On January 10 (Sun), a cold bathing tournament was held at Teppozu Inari Shrine.

Shinto ritual prays for Misogi Hae and sound health by bathing in cold water in front of the shrine in New Year.

In the Edo era, it was called Kanmisogi and Kangori, but after the war it was revived by replacing it with modern language as the "Kannaka Bathing Tournament".

Men wear Echichu loincloths and women wear white kimonos and enter ice water.

This is a traditional festival celebrating its 55th anniversary in 2010.

From 9:30 in Kagura Hall, there was a dedicated performance of Tepposhu Inari Hayashi with flutes, drums and drums.

The icicicles were carried in by truck.

The sky is clear and clear in perfect condition.

After the story of chief priest at 11:00, he conducted preparatory exercises such as Torifune, went out on public roads, ran around the shrine, sang several waka under the guidance of Mr. Michihiko, shouted and voiced to breathe and encourage the purification of spirits.

On this day, 80 people participated, including the general open call for participants, some of whom were about 75 years old.

There were about seven women.

It seems that there were also participants by airplane in Hokkaido, Miyagi, Fukushima, Ishikawa, Shizuoka, Fukuoka, etc.

Bird boat event (Torifu Negiyoji): The main focus is on rowing a boat.

This is a manners that purifies the mind and soul.

Yuken event (Otakebigyoji) ... Focus on the lower abdomen and raise a shout.

Michihiko leads the way in how to move the body and waka as the whole coordinator.

This is a manners that receives the spirit of the earth.

The operation of cutting evil with two fingers.

Air blowing event (Ibukigyoji) ... It is deep breathing.

Kanmisogi

After draining the water with a sword seal, "Ah!", And throw yourself into ice water.

He purifies his mind and body while performing a movement called "Furitama" many times, saying "Haredo Okami, Hareno Okami ...".

The group going up from the aquarium will perform bird boat events and other activities under the guidance of Michihiko. (Michihiko is the person who leads and performs this ceremony.)

It seems that an accident has never occurred during this sacred event.

Also, by participating in this, it is said that you will never catch a cold.

In today's age when people are less aware of the New Year and the beginning of the year, I felt very significant to participate in such a thing.

People who are immersed in ice water are doing their souls.

This year, 80 people were divided into two sets and alternately entered the water three times.

How many times do you have? And how much ice water is in the ice water is determined by Michihiko at that time.

There was a great man holding ice after the event was over.

・・Thank you ...

In interviewing this article, I was very helpful to Mr. Tatsuo Ishikawa of Tepposu Inari Shrine "Yayoi-kai Secretary-General".

Despite my sudden visit, my family welcomed me in the reception room and gave me a kind explanation.

I thank Mr. Ishikawa and other Yayoi-kai, who have protected and maintained traditional culture, and I felt the kindness and depth of Edokko.
