Hamarikyu Gardens Winter feature Snow hanging (Southern style) Frost repellent (Obake)

[Yurikamome] 08:30 on November 17, 2011

In the sunny Hamarikyu, a winter tradition, snow hanging, was displayed.

It will accentuate your garden when you miss it. You will enjoy your eyes until the end of March.

This decoration cannot support the core snow and is only a decoration.

In earnest, it is "Kenroku-en Garden-style snow hanging", but the smaller one is displayed in the Shiba Rikyu Garden.

The snow hanging in Tokyo is divided into "Northern style" and "Southern style", "Koishikawa Korakuen Garden" and "Rikugi-en Garden" are northern style, and "Hamarikyu Gardens" and "Hibiya Park" are southern style.

The method of the master at that time is still handed down.

The tip of the sail pillar is called Valen.

It is decorated with a hanging rope knitted.

It is a decorative snow hanging with a lot of thin ropes hanging.

2011_1113 Hamayuki Hanging (Buch 2) Photo 0020.JPG The part of the hem is called a bee, and the bee turns the rope to the tip of the bee (the frame at the tip of the bamboo) and tie the hanging rope to it.

The bamboo that runs sideways is called Kanzashi.

In warm regions, plants that are vulnerable to cold, such as cycad and Digo, use straw during the winter to protect trees from the cold of winter.

The contents of this photo in the garden of Hamarikyu are not cycad but bamboo on the ground and it is decorated with straw. Therefore, the name among craftsmen is to be "Obake ...".

Matsushima-jinja Shrine (Otori-jinja Shrine) / Tori-no-ichi Fair Okuninushi November 14

[Yurikamome] 08:30 on November 17, 2011

Matsushima-jinja Shrine: 2-15-2 Nihonbashi Ningyocho

It is a shrine that is said to be infinite treasures, fulfillment of great wishes, and spiritual experiences.

It is also included in the course of "Nihonbashi Seven Lucky Gods Tour" which departs Mitsukoshi Main Store on New Year's Day.

Before the Great Fire of the Meiryaku era (1657), there were many playhouses around, so it seems that there were many worshippers of puppet craftsmen, kimono merchants, Kabuki actors, and geisha.

November's "Tori no Ichi" is still a grand event, and it seems that it used to be a entertainment district in the past.

2011_1114 Matsushima Shrine Tori-no-ichi Fair Photo 0013.JPG As lucky items, kumade is sold from where the eagle says "grabbing" the prey, and besides "golden mochi" and "sansho mochi" made from chestnuts are sold.

It also prevented colds in the winter.

Recently, the tag of "Ryomu" has been sold, and many young people worship.

2011_1114 Matsushima Shrine Large Decoration Photo 0011.JPG kumade has a custom to buy “Big kumade” year by year.

If one price is "San,000 yen", it is said that the price should be reduced to "20,000 yen ...".

If you can buy it for "20,000 yen", don't forget to put it as "Ofuse" ...

One, when kumade sells, the applause of "337 beats" occurs.

   I applauded with everyone, too.

※ Once upon a time, my grandmother Chama had bought in Tori-no-ichi Fair with "kumade Kanzashi" on her hair ...

A friend who went with me told me.

Diamond Fuji I saw

[Yurikamome] 08:30 on November 11, 2011

The changes in the four seasons in Japan are beautiful and there are a lot of interesting things.

When can I see it in Chuo-ku just like riding the summit of Mt. Fuji when the sun sets west?

Can't you see it on the same day in Chuo-ku, north and south?

It should be twice a year, but here from Kachidoki, I calculated that autumn was around November 1st and waited. On that day, there were clouds in the western sky, so I gave up, but the thickness of the cloud was thinner than it looked, and by the time I actually hanged on the summit of Fuji, it was still dazzling through the clouds, and the light was blurred in the clouds. The circle outline of the sun was not clear. It looked like Mount Fuji was erupting.

And sank as if they were sucked into the crater. Along with that, the colors and patterns of the surrounding clouds changed every moment. I don't feel any movement when I'm in the middle sky, but it's amazing when the comparison target of mountains is nearby. In about two minutes the diameter of the sun went down.

Sunset on Mount Fuji 2011_1101 Photo 48.JPG

Eventually, when the sunset was completely hiding behind Mount Fuji, the area near the mountain was red sunset, the top was white, and the sky was pale, and the sky was still white like daytime. The blue sky was spreading.  It is the same as the color of the sky in the scenery of Ukiyo-e.

Sunset on Mount Fuji 2011_1101 Photo 64.JPG Spring is around February 10th. The photo below was taken on February 9, last year. It started sinking south from the summit a few days earlier. The clouds were dark on the next 10th, and on the 11th, I couldn't shoot due to rain in the evening. Contours and colors change depending on the darkness of clouds and the arrival of yellow sand depending on the season.

Chuo-ku is about 5.67 km from Saemon Bridge over the Kanda River in Nihonbashibakurocho to the north to Harumi Wharf in the south. Mount Fuji is about 101 km from Chuo-ku government office. From Mount Fuji, the distance between the north and south of Chuo-ku is 3 degrees and 13 minutes' visibility. (For units with an angle of less than one degree, minutes and seconds are used. One time is 60 minutes, one minute is 60 seconds.)

The flat part of the summit of Fuji is about 825 meters from Mt. Shiroyama in the north to Mt. Komagatake in the south. The view angle from the flat part of this summit from Chuo-ku is about 28 minutes 07 seconds. The average distance from the earth to the sun is about 150 million kilometers. The diameter of the sun is about 1.392 million kilometers. The diameter is 31 minutes and 59 seconds. In other words, the diameter of the sun is about 14% larger than the top of the mountain.

And when the sun seems to be riding on the summit of Fuji at Harumi Wharf, when viewed from Saemon Bridge, it will shine at the same height, quite far from the summit of Fuji. I didn't think that the date was different depending on the place in Chuo-ku that you could see just riding on the summit of Fuji.

Moon after the sunset over Mount Fuji 2011_1101 Photo 72.JPGLooking at the sunset over Mount Fuji, the ground was illuminated and the night atmosphere was felt, but the sky was still bright and half moon was hanging thin.

Nihonbashi Bridge Centennial Festival Parade (Part 3)

[Yurikamome] November 4, 2011 08:30

The traditional dance of Tohoku continues to pray for recovery from the Great East Japan Earthquake. This is 'Urahama Nenbutsu Kenbutsu'. Speaking of which, in the summer of Tsukudashima, Chuo-ku, a venerable "Nenbutsu dance" will be held.

I heard a familiar song. This is Yamadacho Yagibushi. Jestures I'm dancing hard.   It's so rhythmic that I just singed together. Everyone was really well.

The atmosphere suddenly changed. It is "Soma Nomaoi Horse Rider". It is rarely seen that horse warriors dressed in armor and helmets roam around Chuo-dori. The parade of classic cars was also cool, but this time slipping scenery was a valuable photo. I pray for the restoration of the environment of your home country.

It is the local turn to move to the "Part 3 Bridge 100th Anniversary Parade". First of all, it is a collection of "high-rise lanterns" in a traditional town. I am proud of the town that has been raised high on the tip of a long bamboo zao. “Where is my house? It was! Who has it? Will you come here soon?”

Nihonbashi Centennial Festival Parade Photo 079 Highlight Lantern Corps.JPG"I'm proud of the Edo kid, portable shrine." "Do you know the best portable shrine in Japan?" Look at that. The golden portable shrine Teppen is the best in Japan!”  "Nihonbashi 1-chome" "Don't live in a favorite place!"

Nihonbashi Centennial Festival Parade Photo 091 portable shrine (Nihonbashi 1-chome).JPG

Next is "Kyobashi Ichinobe". portable shrine is a solid yet stylish design. Everyone's happi coat color is also stylish green. She is also carrying her beautiful sister with her. They all loved carrying and strength. It was a friendly group.

Nihonbashi Centennial Festival Parade Photo 096 portable shrine (Kyobashi Ichinobe).JPG  A wonderful parade that continued.  I can't introduce it all very much.   "Nihonbashi" was seen all of these. And you may have seen the banner of the "Nihonbashi Centennial Festival" in the guard of the capital high on top of it. Let's take care of everyone for the next 100 years "Nihonbashi"! !

Nihonbashi Bridge Centennial Festival Parade (Part 2)

[Yurikamome] November 3, 2011 08:30

As one of the opening ceremonies, members of the Kawagoe Clan matchlock musket Gun Corps Preservation Society appeared with matchlock musket and banners wearing armor helmets at the time.

At the time of rebuilding, the main street in Kawagoe City is regulated to observe the architectural style of the Edo period.

It is called "Koedo" from its streets.

Next is the "Part 1 Opening Parade" local Nihonbashi Junior High School brass band club. The platoon, posture, and the sound of the song were so impressive that I couldn't think of junior high school students. It's very reliable.

Next, the locals, Joto Elementary School in Chuo Ward, came while playing rhythm with a round stick clap.

It was a small run to align the platoons due to the addition of the signal at Eitai-dori St.. Everyone played hard.

"Part 2 Tohoku Reconstruction Parade" A traditional dance was performed in prayer for recovery from the Great East Japan Earthquake.

First of all, the two colorful fans of "Sendai Suzume Odori" were regarded as feathers, and they danced energetically, elegantly, and pretty.

"Kanazu-ryu deer dance" He wore Shishizu, struck drums, and played bravely and orderly.

"Kawahara Armor Sword Dance" He dressed himself in armor and waved a sword, and performed a sharp and traditional performance.

Nihonbashi Bridge Centennial Festival Parade (Part 1)

[Yurikamome] 08:30 on November 2, 2011

A large parade was held on Chuo-dori on October 30 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the bridge at Nihonbashi, the base point of the five highways spreading throughout Japan.

We started Nihonbashi Sanzen Echizen and proceeded slowly and lively to Kyobashi.

The 30th Chuo-ku Tourism Ambassador, Miss Chuo, is also very active.

This is a parade of classic cars following the lead white bike squad. There were only a few cars that ran here, but in fact dozens of famous historical cars and favorite cars were displayed in front of the Bank of Japan and many enthusiasts gathered and enthusiastically.

I was watching.

Nihonbashi Centennial Festival Parade Photo 009 Classic Car 1.JPG

The enthusiasts who have classic cars really love and care for them.

We are deeply impressed by seeing along with the long history of Nihonbashi, which has been a hundred years of bridge spanning.

Look at it. With this majestic character!

"CAPITAL TOKYO FIRE BIRD" of the Tokyo Fire Department.

Everything is perfect and orderly and reliable.

It's cool. I decided on the beginning of the great parade.

It's a good rhythmic band. It's a pity that I can't tell you this sound and rhythm on the screen.
