NHK's Taiga drama series "Yae no Sakura" broadcast on TV has started.
In the first part, there was a scene where my brother Kakuma Yamamoto visited Shozan Sakuma Juku in Kibiki-cho to learn Western artillery. I would like to introduce some of the people I met during Kakuma Yamamoto's stay in Edo.
Please see here for the explanation board of Shozan Sakuma Juku, which was introduced at the time of Ryoma Den earlier. http://www.chuo-kanko.or.jp/guide/spot/ginza/ginza_18.html
At the same time, Kaishu Katsu and Sakamoto Ryoma also attended Shozan Sakuma Juku.
Kaishu Katsu later became the president of Tsukiji's warship training center.

Through this Taiga drama series, I would like not only to learn about the history of late Tokugawa shogunate in the Edo period, but also to think about the people of the Aizu clan who are involved in the rejection of the Emperor and the flow of defeat.
In the Ryomaden aired a few years ago, Sakamoto Ryoma, who was from a lower-class samurai, heard that in the United States, he was able to choose the president directly in the election, and in order to realize Japan ideal for the United States, he participated in the movement if there was only a defeat in cooperation with the male clan such as Satsuma. For more information about historical sites related to Ryoma, please refer to my blog report.

At the Fukushima Prefecture Yaesu Tourist Exchange Center, an antenna shop in Fukushima Prefecture on Sotobori-dori St., there was also a poster explaining Yae Niijima. Please drop in.

I visited the Nihonbashi Seven Lucky Gods tour. This year is twice on January 4th and 6th.
On January 4th, at 10:00 at Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi, I received a yellow ribbon and stamp stamp stamped paper, and Ukiuki, Koami Shrine, Chanogi Shrine, Suitengu, Matsushima Shrine, Suehiro Shrine, Kasama Inari Shrine, Sugimori Shrine, Takarada Ebisu Shrine, I was very tasty pickled in Tokyo. " I purchased a lucky bag from Ozu Washi, received a tea service on the second floor, and received warm hospitality for my mind and body that I walked in the cold. By the way, Mr. Yamamoto-noriten of Galle welcomed me with a smile, received a picture plate, and after doing a little shopping, I received invitations to Tenugui and Kiyoshi Yamashita from Ema on the rooftop of Mitsukoshi Nihonbashi. Kiyoshi Yamashita's exhibition will be held until January 14th. The two girls who look good in kimono are wonderful.
On January 6 (Sunday), at Ningyocho Station, silently prayed at the monument of Ogawa Bridge, and from Kasama Inari Shrine opposite Hisamatsu Station, imagining the glory of Suehiro Shrine and Daimon Street, Yueido Hikokuro visited the monument of the ruins of Owariya, which was the origin of the name of amazake Yokocho. At the recommendation of the landlady, doll grilling was also served in the store, so I bought a rice cracker with the accompanying people. Abe's rice cracker is very popular. We expect stock prices to rise and the recovery of the Japanese economy.
Yuma in folk art was also open. After that, I visited Matsushima Shrine and Suitengu Shrine. In addition to the offer, Mr. Suitengu paid the donation in hope of the reconstruction of the Great East Japan Earthquake. At the Chanogi Shrine, it was warmed by a bonfire. Passing in front of Kakigara Ginza and Tamahide, visit Koami Shrine, Sugimori Shrine, and Takarada Ebisu Shrine over the monument of the birthplace of Junichirou Tanizaki and the site of the mansion in Saigo Takamori. At Ozu Washi, we had a fun lunch over the ruins of Otake Dainichi Nyoraiido, through Nihonbashi Muromachi, at Nihonbashi, the base of Gokaido, at the base of Gokaido, and at the site of Nihonbashi Fish Market. We also asked for a talisman for Koami Shrine's "removal of good luck".
I wish you all the best wishes of our readers this year. Silver

What kind of play did you enjoy New Year's Day?
On December 15, "Japanese New Year's Play" was held at the International Exchange Salon hosted by the Chuo-ku Cultural and International Exchange Promotion Association. . Those who are studying and working in Japan from countries such as Australia, China, Korea, Malaysia, and Vietnam participated. We will report the scene where you are having fun together with the name of the play.
First of all, it's fun. It is a play to make a face using cutouts of eyebrows, eyes, nose, mouth, etc. The right is a type of sugoroku.
Next, I'm sorry. It looks like a juggler. On the right is a play where part of the stacked fuselage is dropped in several parts.
Next is Karuta. Everyone, wait for you to read aloud. After that, chatting.
Ginzo was also included, and I was able to work with everyone and have a good time.
Would you like to join us next time?
Then, we introduce event of Chuo-ku culture, international exchange promotion association of January.
The International Exchange Salon in January was "Let's get acquainted with Japanese sweets!" That's right. Traditional Japanese sweets! I'm looking forward to it.
