Delicious "Donmai" of Udon in the Hamarikyu District

[Silver] May 21, 2013 14:00

Today, I went to the Hamarikyu Garden to see the peony. On the way back, when I returned to Tsukiji Market, there was an advertisement called "Donmai" on the signboard of the building called "Hamarikyu Park Side Place" about 100m. At that time, I realized that this was a "tasty shop of Sanuki udon" that my friend was talking about, and immediately entered the shop.
Like other udon shops, toppings are abundant, but the difference from other shops is (1) cooked rice. (2) oolong tea and jasmine tea are free. (3) Coffee is free after 1:00 noon, and (4) Wednesday is Lady Day, and sweets are available. (5) Kake udon 250 yen, Sanuki ramen, Japanese soba (350 yen each!) Yes, there is.

Today, we entered after 1 o'clock, so we enjoyed a free coffee lunch because we entered Kake Udon (400 yen), cooked rice (150 yen), fried white fish (100 yen), and after 1 o'clock. It was 650 yen in total.

The dashi is the life of udon. The broth of Sanuki udon is boiled broth, but it was an exquisite harmony by adding a little kelp and bonito broth purchased at Tsukiji Market. The shop has a tatami room where about 30 people can climb, and small banquets are likely to be held from noon.
By the way, the store name is the same as the store adjacent to the main store in Sakaide City, Kagawa Prefecture, and the store manager told me that it was named "Udon delicious". Business hours are from 11:00 to 16:00. It's not open at night.

Closed on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. (As of April 19, 2013)

The shop is located at the back left of the lobby on the 1st floor of Hamarikyu Park Side Place, 5-6-10 Tsukiji, Chuo-ku.

Tokyo Art Antique 2013 in Kyobashi & Nihonbashi

[Silver] May 2, 2013 14:00

Tokyo Art Entertainment is a wonderful event every spring from Kyobashi to Nihonbashi's gallery and art dealer shops. By the way, what kind of wonderful works can you meet this year? What kind of discovery do you have? I'm looking forward to it.

In the Kyobashi area, the Tokyo Square Garden was completed, and the streets have changed completely. I decided to visit this shop slowly on another occasion and enjoy a tour of the gallery.

The first gallery I visited, Kashima Art, was holding an exhibition called "Beauty Festival".
Japanese paintings, including wonderful beauty paintings, were on display.

At Suinami Gallery, Akiko Takeda's work exhibition was being held.
It seems that some kind of beast has become a hot topic this year.
I see, do some beasts protect women?

At Taiyo of Orient Archeological Art, there was an exhibition that was truly impressed.

In addition, his wife also talked about the god of wisdom called "Athena", the owl is the wise of the forest and the angel of the holy god.

At the next visit, "Ancient Art Kin", a miniature work depicting India was exhibited. Here, rare flowers were used in the vase, so when I asked my wife, I was very kind to teach me.

In the photo, it is not clearly visible, but from the left, it is extended-age grass, Kodamari, two-wheeled grass, Yukikusageshi, and Tessen.

In Nihonbashi, we visited the Ebiya Art Store and asked about the history of the shop. Originally, there was a shop in Kyoto, and because of the fact that furnishings were delivered to the Imperial Palace, artworks were also delivered. In 1871, the sixth owner of the shop was opened in Tokyo, and the current owner is the ninth. I was fascinated by the beauty paintings of the early Meiji era on display in the store.

At Shuzando Gallery, there were works by Katsuta Suda, Toushi Okumura, and Kanemon Asai, who kindly explained the work.

Why don't you join us next time, a fun art antique? All of the shops that participated this time were shops with low thresholds. It will surely welcome you warmly on everyday day.

From the upper left, you can enjoy walking around Nihonbashi and walk alone. From the upper left, you can enjoy fresh sweets and beautiful jelly sweets from Nihonbashi Higetsudo.

New product of "Ninben", "hand-rolled bonito sheet"

A raw confectionery featuring seasonal flowers of Nihonbashi Nagato, "Is it a couple returning smiles with raw sweets?"

The lower left is "Abalone Rice element" of "Ise Sekiya". Today, I asked for self-consumption.

It was a silver family who enjoyed the long-established taste.
