The autumn scenery Tsukiji walk that adds color to St. Luke's will also welcome you!

[Silver] Nov. 20, 2013 14:00

As of November 19, we will deliver a wonderful view of the autumn leaves and yellow leaves around St. Luke's College of Nursing.

Originally, this place was the place where Banshu-Ako Asano Yashiki was located, and it was the birthplace of Ryunosuke Akutagawa. There was also a U.S. Nearby are monuments to the beginning of Dutch studies and monuments to a number of Mission Schools opened in the early Meiji era.

Recommended walking course: From Tokyo Metro Tsukiji Station or Yurakucho Station.

Tsukiji River Park (Now, the kiwi behind the Ginza Capital Hotel is growing steadily. In the park, pear fruits are colored yellow everywhere. )

It's fun to go out to St. Luke's Tower, Tsukiji Outer Market, and so on.

It is a slightly scenic view that "Hananoki" at Tsukiji River Park turns into autumn leaves.

In the courtyard of St. Luke's College of Nursing, there are cherry blossoms and yellow leaves in October.

When you walk around Tsukiji in Kinshu, you may encounter unexpected happenings.

Let's go to the Sumida River Terrace from Akatsuki Park and Hatoba Park. "Momijiba maple" on the roadside is very beautiful in three colors: green, yellow, and autumn leaves.

Harumi Flower Festival 2013 Infiorata in Triton

[Silver] Nov. 9, 2013 09:00

"Harumi Flower Festival 2013 Infiorata in Triton" was held from November 2 to 6.
In the morning of the first day, as usual, it is a patient work to pick up rose flowers in the building, design it on a pavement section using it as a material, and paste it one by one.
Regardless of the work in the rain, the participants worked hard to complete the work.

Ginza Mitsukoshi Happy Bicycle Parking Service

[Silver] Nov. 8, 2013 14:00

On the street corner of Ginza, I received such a flyer.

P1000404.JPG

Indeed, recently, the use of bicycles has increased, traffic manners have deteriorated, and bicycle parking violations have also increased.
In such a situation, did you know that there is a bicycle parking lot in the basement of the Mitsukoshi Ginza store?

The location of the bicycle parking lot is convenient not only for shopping in the Mitsukoshi Ginza store along Harumi-dori St., but also for parking a little bicycle when errands in the surrounding area.

Available time is from 8:00 to 1:00 the next morning. The fee is free for the first two hours. Every 4 hours, 100 yen is a service that is out of business.

There is a nice instruction in the bicycle parking lot on the first basement floor. In addition, the inside of the facility was very clean and safe, and I thought that I could leave my favorite bicycle. (WOG)

The details of the Ginza 4-chome public parking lot can be found on the Ginza Mitsukoshi website.

[Silver] Nov. 6, 2013 18:00

From November 1st to 9th, <Kumiki Artist Michio Nakamura Exhibition> is being held at Tsukiji TASS Gallery Wakamatsuya.

The work combines materials of different colors one by one to express portraits, landscapes, buildings, and flowering trees.
I would like to tell you about it.
From the work on the left, Irori's steam and a delicious smell will drift. By all means, please take a look at the real thing.

The Tokyo Tower on the right conveys a warm atmosphere rather than autumn colors.

Tsukiji River Ginza Park If you look at the Tsukiji River Tyroli, you can call it.

[Silver] Nov. 4, 2013 09:00

Tsukiji River Ginza Park, located just across the Mannen Bridge on Harumi-dori St. from Ginza 4-chome, has two fine bronze statues and a herb garden behind it.

 20131024 004.JPG

First of all, you will be greeted by a bronze statue of the famous dog Tyori Monument. "Tyori", a famous dog, was helped with other dogs just before killing, and was active as a therapy dog. It is a monument to honor its achievements.

On the back of the monument, the names of those who supported the award are engraved, and the names of Suitengu are also engraved.

 20131024 005.JPG20131024 007.JPG

The bronze statue behind it is a statue of a woman created under the theme of "call the moon."

It seems to me to call me Good Luck, and for some reason, if I stroke the statue, I feel that the lottery will hit.

Behind it is an herb garden where curry plants, rosemary, mint, etc. are planted.

Refreshing fragrance makes you feel comfortable for the day.

Please drop in at Tsukiji River Ginza Park, shopping and walking.

Bees in Tokyo Square Garden Kyobashi Hill Ginza are also available.

[Silver] Nov. 2, 2013 14:00

The Tokyo Square Garden opened in March 2013, and the Kyobashi Hill is open to the public as an open space.
A lot of plants are planted on the third floor of Kyobashi Hill, which heals the hearts of visitors.
20131025 002.JPG

The trees are marked with a wooden tag with a name for visitors.
Japanese andromeda, kaempferi azalea, Soyogo, Gotenbazakura, Japanese maple, Houki Hana Momo, Salsberg, Nishishikigi and Kakuremino are planted.
By the way, some people may say, "Let's write the name of the plant in kanji," but the name of the plant in katakana is displayed on the scientific name.

The scientific name of the world standard is written in Latin.
For example, Japanese maple belongs to the maple family, but the Latin name is Acer palmatum.

I don't know the details, but Acer is torn, palm
It means palm, and it clearly expresses the shape of the plant.

20131025 009.JPG
On a rainy morning, I went up to the third floor from the elevator facing the sidewalk.
A convenience store was set up, and we enjoyed snacks and coffee cooked in the store without getting wet in the rain.
There are about 20 chairs at this convenience store, so you can enjoy the planting in a relaxed mood.

Would you like to use it for future meetings? Added:

On October 30, 8:00, I found "Ginza bees" that sucks nectar of Tsuwabuki flowers. The picture is below

20131030 007.JPG The plants on the hill of Kyobashi also make Ginza honey. I'm so happy.
