The 66th Tokyo Minato Festival May 24th, 2014

[Silver] May 24, 2014 19:33

The 66th Tokyo Minato Festival was held, and I enjoyed watching it on May 24 (Saturday).

On the day, it was called "2014 Water Fire Service Pageant" by the Tokyo Fire Department.

Beginning with a parade of Nihonbashi and Kyobashi firefighting boys, color girls, and music bands, there were opening greetings and guest congratulations.

The highlight is the “napping water discharge” that showcases the daily training of the Tokyo Fire Department.

"Firefighting performance." It was a very nervous scene of rescueing a person who fell from the ship and transporting it to a fire boat.

DSC04912 (640x360). jpg

"High-speed fire brigade performance." No, it rushes to the scene at a great speed.

And it is a five-color color water discharge to celebrate the bid decision of the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games 2020.

Harumi Wharf is scheduled for the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games 2020 Olympic Village. I'm really looking forward to it.

The children who visited also seemed very happy at the fun event.

"What if" in the sea ... The answer is 118. 24 hoursI thank the Japan Coast Guard and the Fire and Disaster Management Agency for their hard work to prevent marine accidents and rescue them.

"Ring Route 2 Sumida River Bridge (tentative name)" Bridge girder May 8th 2014

[Silver] May 9, 2014 14:00

On May 8, 2014, a bridge girder was applied to "Ring Route 2 Sumida River Bridge (tentative name)".
Today, in addition to many inhabitants of the ward, TV stations also visited to record news.

20140508 047.JPG

According to the panel on display, the structure of this bridge is structured.
It is said that it is "a three-way continuous Nakaji-style arch bridge".
"By eliminating the upper side lumber and tilting the arch to the sidewalk side, Hashigami provides a sense of openness different from other Sumida River bridges.
In addition, the suspended material connected to the tilted arch mainly supports the roadway, and expresses the Motohashi design, which is greatly opened upward, like a harp. "

20140508 067.JPG

The height from the water surface to the bridge girder is said to be 5.8m.
It seems that there is no effect on houseboats and water buses going around the Sumida River.

With the completion of the bridge connecting Harumi, Kachidoki, Tsukiji and Ginza, it seems that it will be available during 2015.
And in 2020, access to the Olympic Athlete Village in Harumi (planned) and the Olympic venue will be easier, making it easier for not only the central residents but also spectators who visit the Olympic Games to come and go. Everything is all right.
Please see here for the installation of the left and right abutments before the bridge.

The 8th Ginza Yanagi Festival GINZA WILLOW FESTIVAL 2014

[Silver] May 7, 2014 14:00

The "Ginza willow Festival" has been held on Children's Day on May 5 since 2006, and this is the eighth earliest this year.

Nishi Ginza Street (Sotobori-dori St.) is a pedestrian paradise, and the organizer's desire to enjoy the festival safely and with peace of mind can be conveyed.

This year, we decided to enjoy entertainment from Ginza 8-chome to Ginza 1-chome.

First of all, the appreciation of "Shimbashi Geisha East Odori". Shingo Okasoe, the organizer of the Tokyo Shimbashi Association, said, "Shimbashi Geisha is a Geisha in Ginza," after talking about history and development.

"Beautiful in Japan", a gorgeous dance of Shimbashi Geisha's sister.

"East Odori" will be held at Shimbashi Enbujo from May 24th (Sat) to 27th (Tue).

This is the 90th anniversary of this year. By all means, I would like to rush to appreciate it.

Next is "Haven Artist in Ginza", which was shown from Ginza 6-chome to 5-chome.

The Tokyo Metropolitan street performer "Haven Artist" gathered in Ginza and showed off a lot of the beauty techniques trained in daily practice. It was fun

There were gifts of seedlings of "Ginza's willow", children called "Kodomo Airada-Ginza" had the experience of painting on the street, and there was also a "hometown sightseeing PR campaign", which was inspired by the journey . The Itako bride is absent

And in Ginza 2-chome, it is a traditional dance plaza of the "Hometown Tourism PR Campaign". Is it "Good Yosakoi Workshop"? The children danced seriously and happily with skilled dancers, and foreign tourists jumped in and participated one after another.
