Ginza Flower Walk "Ichibago" on Miyuki Street, "Seiyotochinoki" on Marronnier Street.

[Silver] April 24, 2015 14:00

One of the flowers in Ginza that I look forward to every year is a neat white flower that blooms on a tree called "Ichibago", commonly known as "Nanja Monja".
This year it bloomed about a week earlier than usual. If you look at this, you will feel really refreshed.

The flowers near Matsuzakaya, which is under construction on Miyuki Street, near the izakaya and Sennen Kyu, are in full bloom.

Is the best time to see it until April twenty-ninth? Don't miss it!

By the way, one more thing that informs you of the arrival of early summer is "Seiyotochinoki", which is called Marronnier in French.
Enjoy a flower walk between Marronnier Gate and Plantan Ginza to Showa-dori.

This is mostly buds, and the early ones are beginning to bloom.
Is the best time to see this is from April 28 to May 5?

Please enjoy the flowers of Ginza along with shopping and meals.

Visit to member stores of Chuo-ku Tourism Association Bistro TOUT (bistrotu)

[Silver] April 22, 2015 18:00

I'm going to go to Hatchobori for business, where? When I was thinking about lunch, I found a member store on the website of the Chuo-ku Tourism Association.

It is a Western restaurant where you can eat French and other dishes about 2 minutes from Hatchobori Station.

The address is 2-28-9, Hatchobori 1F, Tanaka Building TEL: 03-3523-0680

The front of the shop is a blue color that reminds me of the Mediterranean Sea. It's nice. I went inside right away.

There are 16 seats in the store. JAZZ was flowing. Regulars came in one after another, but it is said that it is relatively vacant before 12 o'clock and after 13 o'clock.

P1001067.JPG

This lunch is less than 1,000 yen. There is no French that can be easily eaten for less than 1,000 yen, so I'm happy.

P1001069.JPG

I've had beef stew today. 1,000 yen (tax included) with salad, consomme soup and bread.

It contains 5 large beef, 5 pieces of gorogo, the seasoning is mild, and it is my favorite taste.

P1001070.JPG

This is the same in the evening. The number of shops I would like to visit has increased.

The store name TOUT is Total in English. That's all right.

Please refer to here for more information about access to the store.

The color of the post box in front of this building is calm gray and has a color tone suitable for Ginza, an adult city.

One of the events I look forward to every year is Tokyo Art Antique.

This event displays and sells artworks that are proud of galleries in Nihonbashi, Kyobashi, and Ginza and shops that handle bone-painted items.

This year is three days from April 16 (Thu) to 18 (Sat).

At Hase Homando of Ginza 1-9-1, we received a free pamphlet and a map of the event information.

Please purchase a brochure for guidance at the participating stores.

Giraffe statue of Starz

[Silver] April 2, 2015 09:00

 The giraffe statue of Starz.

Today, my parents and children were taking a commemorative photo below this.

Why is the giraffe statue here for a long time? I was wondering.

P1001001.JPG

Why did you start standing here, what kind of relationship does it have with Stars Corporation, a company that is famous for the promotion of "Pitat House" and runs a real estate brokerage, etc., and is sponsoring the Tokyo Marathon etc. I didn't wonder.

On the morning of a weekday, I was told carefully when I visited the company's reception.

Previously, there was the head office of a company called "Tsumura Juntendo" in this area.

Kirin was thought to be a symbol of the king in Chinese medicine, and that thought was erected as a work by forging sculptor Izumi Ando.

Oh, speaking of that, in the past, I thought there was a building of Tsumura here.

Just in case, I checked it on the old map.

P1001000.JPG

I wanted to investigate Izumi Ando a little more in detail and found it on Tama Art University's website. There was an introduction to his work that was installed at Nihonbashi Tsumura Building in 1989. It turned out that this building was also called the Chushoyu Building.

Tsumura Juntendo changed its company name to Tsumura & Co., and its headquarters is currently located in Akasaka, Minato-ku, Tokyo.

In the future, let's enjoy Kirin's journey on the Tokaido starting in Nihonbashi, during the Tokyo Marathon, and during the "Oedo Kashiki Parade" at the Nihonbashi Kyobashi Festival.
