Sumida River Cherry Blossom Viewing 2017 on the back of spring at St. Luke's

[Silver] March 31, 2016 20:00

The Sumida River, which faces the St. Luke's Tower, commonly known as the Akashicho Riverside, is a famous spot for cherry blossom viewing.

At noon on March 30, mothers with children spread their lunch boxes and enjoyed cherry blossom viewing.

Ships traveling around the Sumida River also add pleasure to cherry blossom viewing. Is the flowering situation of today's cherry blossoms blooming about two minutes?

I think the cherry blossom viewing this spring will last for about a week from April 1 (Fri).

From April 1st to 3rd will be in full bloom. It's getting warmer, so please go out for a walk.

In the surrounding area, "Hanamo" on the sidewalk in front of "Recycle House Kazaguruma" blooms scarlet, pink, light red, and white flowers.

Please also enjoy the cherry blossoms at Tsukiji River Park and Akatsuki Park.

The 1st floor restaurant in St. Luke's Tower is quite vacant except from 12:00 to 13:00.

Takeout sushi, tonkatsu and Chinese cuisine, as well as convenience stores on the 2nd floor.

For those who want to enjoy a relaxing meal, we recommend lunch at Creston, a hotel in St. Luke's Tower.

Nihonbashi Nagasakikan & Tsukiji JF Nagasaki Fisheryen Tokyo Direct Sales Office

[Silver] March 31, 2016 09:00

I went to Nihonbashi Nagasakikan, which opened on March 7th.

The location is the Yanagiya Building on Eitai-dori St. in Nihonbashi, and we went to Sotobori-dori St. about two houses.

The relationship between Nagasaki and Nihonbashi continues all the time since the Nagasakiya of Nihonbashi was a place to stay for Dutch trading post Choichi in the Edo period.

When you enter the store, you will find a lot of special products from Nagasaki.

I tasted Iki's shochu.

There is a bar counter, where you can enjoy famous sake slowly here.

We also recommend the JF Nagasaki Prefectural Fisheries Federation Tokyo Direct Sales Office at Tsukiji Outer Market.

Here, I purchased three-piece grated fish of the seasonal fish "Aohata". I'm going to enjoy sashimi with this tonight.

And the important thing is soy sauce. "Kanro Sashimi Soy Sauce Salt Hikame" is manufactured by Choko Shoyu Co., Ltd., a soy sauce maker in Nagasaki Prefecture. It goes well with white sashimi.

If you have a banquet, please purchase fresh seasonal fish here by around noon. I'm sure you'll be pleased.

The Tsukiji River where the sunlight blooms.

[Silver] March 23, 2016 14:00

When you reach Tsukiji River Park from Tsukiji Honganji Temple, a kind of cherry blossoms, "Sunlight," blooms in a warm scarlet color.

It was a good season to think, "Oh, spring has come."

One step, when you enter the park, "Yukiyanagi" with a lot of neat white petals is blooming.

Next to it, renkyo is beginning to bloom.

Today, when it gets warm, I wonder if I buy sushi nearby and enjoy lunch at the park today.

On the north side of the park, between daily sports and St. Luke's International University, cherry blossoms with white petals are blooming.

oshima cherry? I think so. Will Yoshino cherry tree be best seen for one week from the end of March to the third of April?

Please drop in during shopping in Tsukiji and Akashicho. Silver

Hama-rikyu Gardens in March, 2016

[Silver] March 13, 2016 14:00

On March 13th, I went to Hamarikyu Onshi Garden. According to the explanation of the leaflet I received, it is a special scenic spot and a special historic site.

"Edo's sea breeze" was a bit cold because it was a shogun's garden.

However, there were many couples who took photos of memories of marriage in the canola flower field, and many foreign customers came.

There's a guide in English every Saturday from eleven o'clock and Monday from 10:30.

Foreigners walking in the canola flower field were painting.

A group of women enjoying tea and sweets on the veranda of the teahouse in Nakajima was also having fun talking.

There is still a faint scent of plums.

canola flower is harvested every April. This year's flower seems to be fully enjoyed until March 21 of the equinoctial week.

Please go out for a walk in the bright spring sunshine.

Tsukiji River Park Spring Visit

[Silver] March 11, 2016 14:00

On March 10th, at Tsukiji River Park next to St. Luke's International University, "Cherry Flowers", which signal the coming of spring, are blooming.

This flower will entertain us until March 20.

1457580596091.jpg

After that, the Yoshino cherry tree in the same garden begins to bloom. The flowering is early this year, so it will begin to bloom around March 21.

From the same time to the beginning of April, "Hananoki" will tell you the coming of spring with red buds and small pretty flowers.

On the south side, cute white flowers of "Yukiyanagi" are beginning to bloom.

After this, the "Renkyo" planted next to it will bloom yellow flowers and become lively.

It's almost time for the shiny pink flowers of the cherry blossoms planted on the sidewalk to tell you, "It's spring!"

Please drop in during shopping in Tsukiji and Akashicho.
