Miniature World "Face to Face More Soba"

[Mido] May 12, 2018 12:00

The exhibition of miniature world by Satoshi Tanaka, an artist who has received high praise in Japan and overseas, is being held for the first time in Ginza.

When you enter the entrance, the first thing that catches your eyes is that baked bread and colorful bottle jams are displayed. When you approach the work, you can see the world of "miniature" that has been elaborately created. The 1/12 scale of the real thing has a delicate and genuine texture. The bottle of jam is 7mm in diameter and 9mm in height.

Satoshi Tanaka's work is characterized by the fact that most of them are familiar, such as colorful sweets, food, miscellaneous goods, and plants. It is said that he values the eyes of the viewer and tries to make things that can be sympathetic.

These miniature works can be photographed, and there is also a fingertips experience corner, so why not share them on SNS? It is a space where playfulness is packed in handwritten characters and every corner of the display, making you want to see forever.
