August 23 is a hot summer on the calendar.

In one of the twenty-four season old calendar, the heat is stopped, and it is said that cold air gradually increases in the morning and evening, but the harsh residual heat continues.

Under such circumstances, the water and green space created in the valleys of offices and residential buildings in the city is slender, but it creates a cool and peaceful moment.

One of them is "Hanabas and lily bowls" set up in the "ike" in the courtyard of the condominium group in Tsukuda River City.

Lotus is aquatic plant of the family. The thickening part of the rhizome is called lotus root and is edible, but since the flowers are beautiful, many horticultural varieties have been created as Hanabas since ancient times depending on the color and size of the flower.

I heard that water lilies are aquatic plants of the lily family, and it was named after flowering in the morning and closing in the afternoon as if it were sleepy. The opening and closing time varies depending on the variety, and the Japanese sheep that grows naturally in Japan blooms at uncharted moments (1-3 pm) and closes the flowers at 5-6 pm in the evening.

My heart relaxes with casual everyday scenes.

Celebration Rio Olympic Gold Medal Special Lighting

[Sam] 12:00 on August 10, 2016

DSC_0593LS (2). jpg DSC_0589LS (2). jpg

On the 8th of the 4th day of the Rio de Janeiro Olympics, the 73kg class Shohei Ono, who won the gold medal for the first time in two tournaments since the Beijing Games as a judo boy, and the men's gymnastics group who won the gold medal for the first time in three tournaments since the Athens Games, on the evening of the 9th, Tokyo Skytree has a special design lighting with gold and Hinomaru.

A feat of overcoming the wall of pressure from the revival of judo and gymnastics, once regarded as a home art in Japan.

From Sumida River Ohashi to Kiyosu Bridge, and from Chuo-ohashi Bridge to Eitai Bridge, you can see a bright male figure of a new symbol of Tokyo, shining golden like a medal.

I look forward to the same special lighting that will be held on the day or the next night in conjunction with the success of the Japanese national team winning the gold medal.

2016 Sumiyoshi-jinja Shirine Reisai Festival

August 6-7 is the Reisai Festival of Sumiyoshi-jinja Shirine, Tsukuda.

This year is a shade festival, so rituals are held quietly, unlike the enthusiasm of the Reitaisai festival (main festival) once every three years.

On the precincts, the festival ceremony starts at 11:00 on August 6.

August 7 15:30, 17:00, 19:00, Kagura dedicated by the nationally designated important Intangible Cultural Property Taneo Wakayama Company.

On the afternoon of August 7, 2015, Sumiyoshi Tsukuda, a caretaker who wore the Reitaisai festival "All" in 2015, strongly conveys the strong bond through local festivals and the weight of history that continues.

Tsukuda's atmosphere "feast" such as the social gathering with the association at the Sumiyoshi Koten on Funairi Hori Terrace after the evening ceremony and the subsequent Sumiyoshi Koen Fellowship, etc. are still alive.

Tokyo Skytree "Rio Olympics and Paralympics Special Lighting"

The Rio de Janeiro Olympics have finally begun.

At Tokyo Skytree, a special lighting has started to excite the Rio de Janeiro Olympics and Paralympics and encourage players. It delights your eyes from Chuo-ohashi Bridge through Eitai Bridge.

Exhibition Period: August 4-22 (Olympic), September 6-19 (Paralympic)

Lighting time: 18:45~24:00

On the first day of both (August 4 and September 6), the lighting was based on yellow and green inspired by the Brazilian flag.

During the tournament, the Brazilian flag and red and white design based on the image of the Hinomaru were turned on alternately every 30 minutes, based on the idea of connecting to the Tokyo Olympics at the suggestion of the Brazilian government.

Since Tokyo Skytree opened in 2012, it will be the third Olympic and Paralympic Games in summer and winter, but it is the first time to support the flag.

Also, when the Japanese national team wins the gold medal in both tournaments, I heard that a special design with gold and Hinomaru will be held on the day or the night of the next day.

DSC02248LS (2). jpg Tokyu Plaza Ginza (Ginza 5) opened on March 31 this year.

The unique design of the entire building with the motif of Edo Kiriko is eye-catching.

The rooftop is a public space named "Chirico Terrace".

Surrounded by green walls planted on one side, the green side full of greenery, and the waterside with a pool, are divided into two zones with different concepts, and various events are held.

"Green Side" has a cafe stand.

From about 56 meters above the ground, you can overlook the cityscape of Ginza and Yurakucho, which spread over a panoramic view through the spacious glass walls and walls.

Recommended waterside "Kiriko Terrace - Waterside".

With the opening of the beer garden "-LATIN GRILL / BEER GARDEN - WHITE and SKY Tokyu Plaza Ginza" from July 1, the general opening time has been changed from 11:00 to 15:00 on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays from 11:00 to 14:00 on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, but a space where you can enjoy the unique feeling of sleekness and petit resort feeling unique to Ginza.

It is also Otsu who spends a refreshing Blowin' in the Wind on a shaded bench on the poolside, and a while in the afternoon.

DSC02190RS (2)G.jpg Ginza NAGANO (Ginza 5) opened on October 26, 2014.

On the second floor where the event space is located, a variety of seminars and participatory events are held every day on the theme of the beautiful nature, history, culture, etc. of Shinshu that satisfy the curiosity of "want to know more about Shinshu" .

This time, we will introduce the “Shiojiri Wine Seminar-Enjoy Wine in Summer-” held on July 28 to learn about unique wines, grapes, and wineries while tasting six types of Shiojiri wines.

Following the toast of Mayor Toshiyuki Oguchi and the outline guidance of Shiojiri City, Mr. Seiji Akabane listened to a lecture by the director of Shiojiri City Industrial Promotion Division, and immediately tasted wine.

A company employee in Tokyo proposed soybeans made from soybeans that Mayor Oguchi worked in the field before going to work, and commercialize them.

"Original Shiojiri Sanglia", which is made with blueberries and oranges in Concord-based wine, is a perfect drink for this time.

Shiojiri Shigakukan High School is a unique high school where students of the food chemistry course work from grape cultivation to brewing in order to learn wine making.

Sale is a rare wine limited to young sake season (November) and school festival (July).
