August 23 is very hot on the calendar.

It is said that in one of the twenty-four season old calendar, the heat stops and cold air gradually increases in the morning and evening, but the harsh summer heat continues.

In such a situation, the water and green space created in the valleys of offices and residential buildings in the city creates a moment of coolness and peace while being thin.

One of them is the "Hana Bus and Water Lily Bowl" set up in the "ike" in the courtyard of condominiums in Tsukuda River City.

Lotus is aquatic plant of the family Lotus. The thickened part of the rhizomes is called lotus roots and is edible, but since the flowers are beautiful, many horticultural varieties have been produced as Hana buses since ancient times according to the color and size of the flowers.

I hear that water lilies are aquatic plants of the water lilies family. It blooms in the morning and closes in the afternoon, and is named as sleepy. The opening and closing time varies depending on the variety, and the sheep that grows naturally in Japan blooms in uncharacted (1-3pm) and closes at 5-6pm in the evening.

I feel relaxed by the casual everyday scene.

On the 8th of the 4th day of the Rio de Janeiro Olympics, the 73kg class Shohei Ono, who won the gold medal for the first time in two tournaments since the Beijing Games as a judo boy, and the men's gymnastics group who won the gold medal for the first time in three tournaments since the Athens Games In the evening of the 9th, the Tokyo Sky Tree features a special design of gold and Hinomaru.

A feat of overcoming the heavy pressure of judo and gymnastics, which was once regarded as Japanese home art.

From Sumida River Ohashi to Kiyosu Bridge, and from Chuo-ohashi Bridge to Eitai Bridge, you can see a bright male figure of a new symbol of Tokyo that shines golden like a medal.

I'm looking forward to the same special lighting that will be held on the day or the next night in line with the Japanese national team's success in winning the gold medal.

August 6-7 is Reisai Festival of Sumiyoshi-jinja Shirine.

This year is a festival, so it is different from the enthusiasm of the Reitaisai festival (main festival) once every three years, and rituals are held quietly.

A large festival ceremony will be held at 11:00 on August 6th.

From 15:30 on August 7th, 17:00, and 19:00, Kagura dedication by the nationally designated important Intangible Cultural Property Taneo Wakayama Shrine.

On the afternoon of August 7, 2015, Ms. Sumiyoshi Tsukuda, the caretaker who wore the Reitaisai festival "Align" in 2015, conveys the strong bond through local festivals and the weight of continuous history.

After the evening palace and worship ceremony, the Tsukuda atmosphere "feast" such as the social gathering with the association at the Sumiyoshi lecture tent on the Funairi moat terrace and the subsequent Sumiyoshi lecture social gathering are still alive.

The Rio de Janeiro Olympics have finally begun.

At the Tokyo Sky Tree, special lighting has started to excite the Rio de Janeiro Olympics and Paralympics and encourage players. It is entertaining your eyes from Chuo-ohashi Bridge over Eitai Bridge.

Date: August 4-22 (Olympic), September 6-19 (Paralympic)

Lighting time: 18:45~24:00

On the first day of both (August 4th and September 6th), a lighting design based on yellow and green inspired by the Brazilian flag.

During the tournament, the Brazilian flag and lighting based on red and white inspired by the Hinomaru alternately lit every 30 minutes, with the idea of connecting to the Tokyo Olympics at the suggestion of the Brazilian government.

Since the opening of the Tokyo Sky Tree in 2012, this is the third Olympic and Paralympic Games in summer and winter, but it is the first time to support the national flag.

Also, when a Japanese national team player wins a gold medal in both tournaments, I heard that a special design lighting with gold and Hinomaru will be held on the day or the next night.

There is a cafe stand on the "Green Side".

Through the spacious glass and wall, you can overlook the cityscape of Ginza and Yurakucho spreading over the panorama from about 56m above the ground.

Recommended is the waterside "KIRIKO TERRACE -WATER SIDE".

With the opening of the beer garden "-LATIN GRILL / BEER GARDEN-WHITE and SKY Tokyu Plaza Ginza" from July 1, the general opening time will be changed from 11:00 to 15:00 on Monday to Friday and 11:00 on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, but you can enjoy the feeling of hare and petit resort unique to Ginza.
