Okamezakura flowering

DSC03779RS'G.jpg Okamezakura of Nihonbashi Honmachi "Ajisai-dori St." is blooming.

Okamezakura is said to have been created by a British cherry researcher by crossing Mamezakura and Kanhizakura, and is characterized by early blooming, single light red, and blooming in a downhill manner.

In particular, the calyx is dark red and stands out.

The name is said to have been named after "Okame", which is said to have been a beautiful woman in ancient times.

The height does not grow so much and the branches do not spread much, so it is said to be suitable for planting small land.

I heard that it started with a scale of 26 trees, mainly at Nihonbashi Honmachi 1-chome, but now there are rows of cherry blossom trees all over Nihonbashi Honmachi 2-4-chome and the border with Chiyoda-ku.

In the lobby on the first floor of YUITO, a display will be produced from March 10th to April 10th, inspired by a row of cherry blossom trees on Ajisai-dori St.

DSC03771RS'G.jpg At 9:10 on the 26th (9:05 for wheelchairs), under the fine weather, the Tokyo Marathon 2017 started in front of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building with a gun signal.

From this time, it was changed to a flat course that runs more in the city center from two viewpoints, "to further promote the splendor of Tokyo both inside and outside" and "to make a high-speed course that can aim for records", and after the start, Yasukuni Dori-Sotobori-dori St. ~ Mejiro-dori St. ~ Yasukuni Dori, run right at the Chuo Sudacho Tokyo intersection.

About 30 minutes after the start, the top group approaches "Oedo Nihonbashi" almost as expected passage time, and is wrapped in loud cheers.

This is the first scene to see under the nameplate of "Nihonbashi" on the highway.

I heard that more than 10,000 volunteers will support the operation of the tournament, but in front of Nihonbashi Colled, one of the venues for the runner support event, a gunshot music will be played, and participants from athlete runners to fan runners will be cheered and excited.

(9:40~11:00)

The runners will then head to the Ryogoku / Fukagawa area of the Shitamachi area, which has also become a new course.

(17:30~22:00)

With the motif of the tournament logo mark, which is said to represent "the day when Tokyo becomes one", the runners and supporters and supporters are united together beautifully, the yellow, red, blue and green lines that mix together It is the lighting of a diamond veil with four colors alternately arranged.

From the Sumida River Terrace in Kachidoki, you can clearly see the shine through Tsukiji Market.

From 22:00 to dawn the next day, the standard landmark lights are lit.

From this time, the course has been changed to a more urban area, with a total of 36,000 people from Japan and overseas and citizen runners participating.

Along the course, there will be a runner support event "Marathon Festival", which will enliven the tournament with performances such as music performances, dances, and folk performing arts.

Cold scarlet cherry blossoms bloom

DSC03726RS'G.jpg "Kanhizakura (Kanhizakura)" planted on the "Sakura promenade" along Harumi Triton Square and the Asashio Canal is beginning to bloom.

Also known as "Hikanzakura (Hikanzakura)".

At once Japanese white-eye is coming to suck the nectar.

It is a warm-area cherry tree native to Taiwan and southern China. Along with its characteristic flower color and flower appearance, it is very noticeable because it blooms ahead of ordinary cherry blossoms in early spring, still cold.

The flower color is bright scarlet. The calyx tube and the sepals are the same color, do not open flat, and are bell-shaped, with a bird-like flower.

Even when scattered, the petals do not flutter like Yoshino cherry tree, and the flowers fall down.

The flower language of Kanhizakura, which blooms dignifiedly under the cold sky, is "Glossy Beauty".

I don't lose in terms of fancy, even if I give it one step to Yoshino cherry tree.

RIMG2405'RSG.jpg Early blooming Okanzakura (Okanzakura), which is planted on the south side of Eitai Bridge Nishizume, is gradually beginning to bloom.

It is an impression of blooming much earlier than usual.

It can also be seen on both sides of the east filling.

Okanzakura is a hybrid of Kanhizakura and oshima cherry, and is a large tree with a height of about 10m.

I hear that the tree shape often spreads greatly.

The light red petals are round and large, and can be seen in fine cuts at the tip.

Japanese white-eye is coming to suck the nectar.
