[Sam] Nov. 29, 2018 18:00

DSC07855ELS'.jpg18918941RS''G.jpg The season has come when the trees in the Hamarikyu Onshi Garden are colored. In particular, the autumn leaves of Hasenoki, which is called the seasonal word Tomonari "Hazemomiji", stand out.

Rosewood is a deciduous Odaka tree of the family Urushi.

It is said that it came from the continent through Ryukyu and Satsuma in the 16th and 17th centuries, and it is also called Kouro by reading Ryukyuhaze, Satsuma goby, and Chinese name Hurou.

According to one theory, before the arrival, the native autumn leaves of yamaurushi and yamahaze, which were made of candles, were regarded as the color of clay (crani) suitable for the production of Haniwa and Haji ware.

The bright red color of the feather compound leaves that can be seen through the sunlight and gather at the tip of the branch, is also wonderful, but `` scattered Haji autumn leaves '' scattered at the foot of Mt. Has a vivid contrast with the surrounding greenery and has a taste.
