A little break

[Satsuki Yanagi] May 21, 2009 18:00

I am the only one who feels that the popularity of the Nihonbashi area has increased over the past few years?sign02

The average age of visitors seems to be slightly younger ...

In Nihonbashi, one of the shops I would recommend when I want to take a break during shopping or strolling is "I want to take a break" ... "Yamamotoyama's Nihonbashi Main Store.

yamamotoyama5.jpgThe motto is "I receive a heartfelt smile" of our customers.

In one corner of the shop, there is a relaxing place (Irori seat) with tsukubai, lanterns and Jizo-san.

A bench-like seat is placed around Irori and a brazier, and a cushion is laid.

"Yamamotoyama" uses sweets that make delicious tea even more delicious as "tea friends", and several types of long-established gem of Nihonbashi and Kyobashi according to the season (changes depending on the day) )heart01.

Unfortunately, there was not much time on this day and it was full, so I gave up using it ... because there was a menu at the "relaxing place" on this day at the store I took a picturecamera. Please take a look (we will omit the name of the sweets shop, please note)!

yamamotoyama1.jpg yamamotoyama2.jpg yamamotoyama3.jpg yamamotoyama4.jpgIn each case, a set of recommended sencha (daily) + sweets is ¥ 350 (including tax).

It seems that tea can be replaced ... What a nice, long-established store (large store) smart metersign01

We would like to use it comfortably with other customers who were with you on that day.lovely

By the way, there is also a coffee room between the back of the shop, where you can choose your favorite sencha, matcha, gyokuro, etc., and for the tea contract, Japanese sweets and rice crackers from Nihonbashi confectionery "Nagato" are prepared ( There are also coffee and ice matcha milk).

Sea bream

[Satsuki Yanagi] May 20, 2009 18:33

kandadarumu2.jpgDays reminiscent of early summer continue!

Nice to meet you, my name is Satsuki Yanagi.

Speaking of "taiyaki", "Yanagiya" in amazake Yokocho, Ningyocho, is popular in Chuo-ku.

It is a specialty even in a constant procession, but recently we have caught the information that a procession has been made to seek a new "sea bream", so we went immediately!

The shop is located on "Sakura-dori St.", which leads from Maruzen to Yaesu across Nihonbashi Takashimaya.

The name of the store is "Daruma Kanda". The flyer I received said, "From the head to the tail, it's hard to thin skin."

It was quite hot on this day (26 ° C), but the line is still ...

In about 10 minutes of waiting, I was able to buy thin-cut oysters.

(¥140 per unit)

kandadaruma1.jpgFeatures: Now, some sea bream fans are talking about (?) It's a so-called 'with feathers'.

When I tried it, the sweetness was less than I imagined, and I could eat it even on hot days! ! !

Perhaps because the baking method was soft, the wings were also soft.

As the words of the flyer, Anko was included up to the tailsmile!

Many people lined up purchased other products such as Warabimochi ($680 per pack) and Mitarashi Dango ($120 per bottle) along with thin-cut oysters.

On the other hand, I went to Ningyocho's "Yanagiya" high-class sea bream grilling ...

taiyaki-yanagiya2.jpgThe temperature is 27°C, which feels quite hotwobbly.

taiyaki-yanagiya1.jpg・・... Even so, there was still a line.

At the same time 20 minutes ... finally purchased (¥ 140 per piece).

During the hot weather ...

This is also included so that Anko protrudes from the tail (happy)!

The baked color is pale, but it is crispy and fragrant.

The sweetness was just the right salt plumhappy01!

"Yanagiya" also has other products and is in the middle of ice cream (Kokura and vanilla for ¥150 each).

On this day, it seemed to be selling well during the ice cream!
