Mid-Autumn Moon

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] September 13, 2011 09:15

old calendar has long been customary to appreciate the moon on August 15, but this year, September 12 was August 15 in old calendar.happy01

Basho at night around famous moons and ponds

From the Chuo-ku side, Mr. Basho would have seen the moon from Fukagawa Basho-an (Koto-ku) on the other side of the Sumida River. By the way, this pond seems to be an old pond where Kawazu (frog) jumped in.

On the other hand, last night, more than 300 years after this famous phrase was born, the mid-autumn moon was illuminated as Akira Akira among the brand buildings in Ginza, where daytime heat still remains.

Ginza 1-chome Historic buildings and coffee specialty store "Ranpa"

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] September 6, 2011 11:00

The "Suzuki Building" (1-28-15 Ginza, Chuo-ku), which I was worried about sometimes passing in front of me, was Historic buildings designated by Tokyo. After all, one more person is convinceddelicious

There is an explanatory version on the front wall, according to which the construction year is 1929, so it is 82 years old.sign01

Originally, this building was named "Kinoeneya Club".

It seems that the building was related to Shintomiza, which was once in Shintomi-cho, and rooms were rented for performances and rehearsals.

The design and decoration of the facade are very elaborate, and the relief of the first-floor column and the horseshoe-shaped windows attached to the copper-plated roof are also fashionable.

On the first floor, there is also a venerable coffee specialty store "Rampu", and when you enter, the gentle master, even though it is a small shop, carefully brew coffee with a cup of siphon.

The master says that he has been doing a shop here for 25 years. It's a coffee specialty store, but you can eat it, and the menu also has handmade udon made by a master from Sanuki.sign03

This shop is also featured in Tomomi Muramatsu's "Ginza Coffee Shop Monogatari" (Hakusuisha), which was published in June this year, so please go there (page 188-).book
