De Beers Ginza Building, Morning Scenery

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] April 12, 2015 18:00

Ginza 2-chome, De Beers Ginza Building facing Marronnier Street, looking up on the way to work in the morning ...

debee1.JPG

The two people who clean the windows of the building are far upper floors.

In this undulating building, with a rope vertically descended from the rooftop, I am worried about how to clean the window glass.

debee2.JPG

I left for work with my back hair.

Currently, the adjacent Okura Main Building (the building where the cartier was located) is being rebuilt, so you can see the De Beers Building from Ginza Chuo-dori.

Fugen elephants bloom in five minutes [Tsukiji River Sendai Bridge Park]

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] April 12, 2015 18:00

Fugen elephants at Tsukiji River Sendai Bridge Park at Tsukiji 5-chome bloom in five minutes.

fugenz1.JPG

Fugen elephant is a type of the family Rosaceae and is a horticultural variety of the Satozakura group.

The flowers are large, double-flowered and light red. The flowering season is late April, slower than other cherry trees.

fugenz2.JPG

It is an old variety that is said to have been around since the Muromachi period, and its mysterious name is written in kanji as "Fugen Elephant", and two leafed pistils are elephant fangs (some are written as nose) It is said that this name was given because it resembles).

fugenz3.JPG

There are kawazu-zakura and weeping cherry tree in Sendai Bridge Park, but kawazu-zakura blooms much earlier than Yoshino cherry tree, weeping cherry tree blooms almost at the same time, and Fugenzo blooms quite later.

On the right side is the Fugen Bodhisattva seated statue, riding the elephant of attendant Buddhist statues. By the way, on the left side is Manjushri seated statue, riding a lion (→ Manjushri of "If you come by three people, the wisdom of Wenju")

Full bloom of wall greening [Ginza Blossom]

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] April 9, 2015 14:00

Ginza Blossom Central Hall (Ginza 2-15-6) is a facility in Chuo-ku, which stands across the ward office and the Metropolitan Expressway Toshin Beltway, and is connected by a three-pronged Miyoshi Bridge.

I use the restaurant on the first floor here for lunch because the company is right next to me.

Now, the greening of the wall of this building is in full bloom.

blos3.JPG

It is Tokiwamansaku and evergreen Odaka trees, and in April and May, four cream-colored elongated petals bloom.

This flower adds a contrast of mosaic patterns on the wall.

If you have ever passed in front of Ginza Blossom, please be aware.

Bikini PICAR (Bikini Picar) [Cored Muromachi]

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] April 7, 2015 14:00

We had lunch at Bikini PICAR, a Spanish restaurant in Catalonia, on the 2nd floor of Cored Muromachi in Nihonbashi Muromachi 2-chome.

bikin1.JPG

"Picar" means "to pick up (cooking)", and Pinchos (tidbits) and tapas (small dish) are also available. We ordered lunch menu.

bikin3.JPG

5 kinds of pinchos tapas assorted

bikin4.JPG

It was a seasonal soup, and this day was a chickpea soup.

bikin5.JPG

Fidewa (Pasta Paella)

It seems to be a specialty dish of the Catalonia region, and the crispness of thin pasta is fresh and very delicious. As the main dish, you can also choose today's meat, fish, and rice paella.

bikin6.JPG

Paella of clams and wild plants

In the main rice paella, the large clam soup stock that makes you feel spring is soaked in the rice and matches the bittersweet of wild vegetables.

bikin7.JPG

It comes with dessert and coffee.

It was my first time this time, but the shop feels good and the cost performance was good, so I would like to come again.

The inside of the store is divided into a casual "bar corner" and a "dining corner" where you can enjoy a meal slowly while sitting, so next time at the bar corner, I would like to enjoy drinking with pinchos or tapas.

Business hours are from 11:00 to 23:00.

April 4th is Anpan's Day [Ginza Kimura Family (Ginza Main Store)]

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] April 3, 2015 14:00

I got a thankful information from a friend who sometimes provides tips for blog stories saying, "April 4 is like" Anpan's Day "." Also, I visited the Ginza Kimura family (Ginza main store) in Ginza 4-chome because of the nostalgia that I hadn't eaten anpan for a while.

The storefront was decorated with cherry blossoms.

ampa1.JPG

Certainly, "April 4th was Anpan's Day."

ampa2.jpg

Moreover, it is said that it was derived from the fact that Kimura parent and child, the founder of Kimuraya, presented Anpan to Emperor Meiji on April 4, 1875, 140 years ago.

It is said that the Majesties were served as tea confectionery when they had a cherry blossom viewing at the lower house of the Mito Domain on Mukaijima.

In order to express the sense of the season, Kimura parent and child ordered salted Yae cherry blossom petals from Mt. Yoshino in Nara and embedded them in Anpan. It seems that he received the word "(this is a purveyor of the Ministry of the Imperial Household).

Since then, salted cherry blossoms have been naveled on the anpan at the store, and "Sakura Anpan" has been seen. Hey~

That said, right is "Sakura Anpan" and right is "Sakura Anpan" and the left is "Sake kind Sakura Domyoji".

ampa3.JPG

"Sakura Anpan" is an exquisite balance between the sweetness of the bean paste and the salted cherry blossoms, and the sake-type bread dough that wraps it imitates the method of making sake buns. It has a flavor and is delicious "Sake-type Sakura Domyoji" is a sticky feeling of Domyoji bean paste and the scent of cherry blossoms.

ampa4.JPG

While enjoying "Sakura Anpan" and "Sakuradomyoji", the Japanese are really amazing and impressed in the first place, all started with ideas for Anpan as a cherry-blossom tea confectionery for cherry blossom viewing. I thought about my passion for manufacturing.

The Ginza Kimura family is currently holding the Sakura Anpan Festival (March 1-April 12)
