This year, the Shoko Kanazawa Museum of Art will open in Ginza 2-chome for one month in August.

The Megumi Ogita Gallery, located on the basement floor of the Ginza Otsuka Building 2-16-12, displays works by Shoko Kanazawa of the Japanese calligraphy family every summer for a month.

The period is from Tuesday, August 2 to Wednesday, August 31

Sunday•Monday•Holidays are closed.

Opening hours are from 11:00 to 19:00.

Admission fee is general: 500 yen, elementary school students: 300 yen, free for children under elementary school age.

This year's topics are the special exhibition of "Fengjin Raijin" dedicated to Kenninji and "Taira no Kiyomori", the title of NHK Taiga drama series, and Shoko Kanazawa will be visiting during the exhibition.

The white of the outer frame of the thousand boxes is impressive, and Disney characters (Mickey, Pluto, Pooh, Dumbo, Toystories, Ana Snow, etc.) are designed on the gold leaf on the inner cover.

Disney characters are also designed for "gold foil hand mirror" and "platinum foil hand mirror", and it seems that it is the first round gold leaf and platinum foil hand mirror for GINZA TANAKA products.

These products have been sold by GINZA TANAKA as licensed products with Walt Disney Japan Co., Ltd., and are gaining popularity among a wide range of customers, including Disney fans.

Kurosawa is a teppanyaki and steak shop in a narrow alley in Tsukiji 2-chome.

The concept of the restaurant is to serve meat dishes that Director Akira Kurosawa liked.

On July 8th (Friday), the event "ECO EDO Nihonbashi 2016 - Enjoying with the Five Senses-" began in the Nihonbashi area to experience the coolness of Edo.

On Naka-dori on the approach to Fukutoku Shrine, there are about 100 Japanese lantern pieces () such as Goldfish Dai Japanese lantern with a goldfish pattern.

It seems that this is the ninth time this year, and this time "goldfish" is pushed to the front.

Various events and services are being held throughout Nihonbashi, and the annual "Art Aquarium" is also being held this year as the "10th Anniversary Festival".

"Goldfish Large Japanese lantern" depicts a variety of goldfish, as if you were swimming in Japanese lantern, looking up at Japanese lantern from below and watching the goldfish.

A special exhibition of railway photography, "Special Railway Scenes," is being held at Creation Gallery Nihonbashi Hakozaki.

The period is from Friday, July 15 to 24 (Sun).

This photo exhibition is not a photo exhibition by a single photographer, but a photo exhibition by people who put their thoughts on railways into photographs.

When I asked the president, it was said that even for a special exhibition of railway photography, the content of the work was not biased.

Certainly, the railway photo I imagined = the photo of a steam locomotive with a bombed smoke was only one person, and the rest was a work of a train in the scenery of the four seasons, a work focusing on local lines, a person photograph related to railways, and a work like a seeming avant-garde photo, a really wide range of works were exhibited.

In the work, there was also a wonderful photograph that happened to be reflected in a beautiful natural phenomenon, and I looked at it unintentionally.

I was impressed that the "special railway scene" was the perfect naming.

The creation gallery at the venue was a spacious gallery where about 100 works, mainly large-format photographs, were exhibited.
