Reiko Meguro's exhibition "Reiko Meguro Laboratory 2" is being held at REIJINSHA GALLERY, located on the first basement floor of the Tsutsuwa Building, located at the intersection of Miyuki Street and Nishi Gobangai Street in Ginza 6-chome.

The first floor of the Mitsuwa Building is "Miwa of Jewelry".

Walking along Nishi-Gobangai Street, my feet stop unintentionally because of the paintings of Gaikotsu.

Go down the stairs and go to REIJINSHA GALLERY so that you can pull it in.

The gallery on the first basement floor has a quiet and calm atmosphere that you can't imagine as the center of Ginza.

In the white gallery, impressive works are lined up.

The motifs of the works on display are mussels, insects (which are also insects as specimens), and experimental equipment like in the science room.

It seems that "inorganic laboratory" is Reiko Meguro's main theme, but I didn't feel any shade or darkness at all, but on the contrary, I felt a bright, fun warmth full of sense of life.

And the beauty of color

This is the second time that Mr. Meguro, who has received numerous awards, has held a special solo exhibition at this gallery.

The transparency and texture of the glass drawn in the masterpiece are wonderful.

The event will be held from Friday, March 24 to April 7 (Fri), and the corridor will be closed on Sunday and Monday.

The opening hours are from 12:00 to 19:00, and the last day is until 17:00.

From 17:00 on April 1st (Sat), a gallery talk by Mr. Meguro will be held.

The "Ken Domon Photo Exhibition Showa Children" is currently being held at Noevia Ginza Gallery on the first floor of Noevia Ginza Headquarters Building, facing Ginza 7-chome, Namiki-dori St.

Ken Domon is a photographer famous for his photographs of Buddha statues, Bunraku, and Hiroshima.

Children from the 20s to the 1930s are representative subjects of Mr. Domon.

The smiles of the children at that time are shining.

At that time, I remember that everyone was playing outside the house.

This is a photo exhibition that makes you feel energetic.

The event will be held from Tuesday, March 21 to June 9 (Friday).

The event is held from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, and on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays it is until 5:00 pm.

Keiko Matsuda is a calligraphy artist.

This is an exhibition of works that combine calligraphy and watercolors.

In the first place, calligraphy means "beautiful writing" in Greek, and it seems that Western Japanese calligraphy, which expresses the letters of the alphabet beautifully by hand.

The softness and warmth of hand-drawn characters are conveyed.

The realistic watercolor painting was also drawn by Mr. Matsuda, and it seems that opaque watercolor paints are used in the letters, and transparent watercolor paints are used in the paintings.

In terms of calligraphy that makes letters look beautiful, it is common to Japanese calligraphy, but since it uses pens or similar tools for writing, the impression of the work is completely different from Japanese calligraphy, which uses brushes.

At the gallery, Mr. Matsuda also showed me a pen dedicated to calligraphy.

It's special

This time, it seems that it is an exhibition focusing on 12 original drawings with the cover of the "Language of Life" magazine for one year.

The period is from Monday, March 20 to 26 (Sun), so when this blog is posted, this exhibition may be over.

Matsuda's next exhibition scheduled for in Chuo-ku is "Gallery Musashi" in Ginza 1-chome.

The noodles are medium-fine chijire noodles, and it seems that they are additive-free high-quality noodles using the finest flour from Tokachi, Hokkaido. Noodles are familiar with soup.

Charsew is not too large and easy to eat.

Menma is a homemade Menma that cooks the finest Menma from Japan. It has a good texture and is not too sweet and delicious.

We are particular about ingredients, and we recommend ramen with delicious noodles and soup.
