On the first weekend after the rainy season was announced all at once from Shikoku to Kanto Koshin, we took a walk in Hamacho Park in good weather.

Here Hamacho Park is a park in Chuo Ward located in 2-chome, Nihonbashi-Hamacho, and is the largest park in Chuo-ku.

Because the park is large, you can find a variety of things that make you feel the changing seasons when you take a walk.

Kinshibai, Japanese willow and bigleaf hydrangea, which I introduced on this blog the other day, are also in bloom.

There was an explanation board in the park called "Small friends of Hamacho Park", and I was glad that there were so many birds and butterflies.

Originally there was the Shimoyashiki of the Kumamoto feudal lord Hosokawa family during the Edo period, and in the park there is Kiyomasa Koji Temple, which enshrines the Kato Kiyomasa, built by Kumamoto feudal lord Narimori Hosokawa.

There is the Chuo Ward Sports Center in the park, and on August 20, the annual "Tug of War Festival" and "Summer Festival 2017" will be held.

Currently, the "Environmental Panel Exhibition" is being held in the exhibition space of the Chuo Ward Environmental Information Center on the 6th floor of Tokyo Square Garden in Kyobashi 3-chome.

The exhibition period is from Thursday, June 1 to June 29 (Thursday).

The time is from 9:00 to 21:00 (even when returning from the company)

June 5 is an Environment Day, which was established to commemorate the United Nations Conference on the Human Environment, which was held in Stockholm from June 5, 1972.

In response to Japan's proposal, the United Nations has designated June 5 as World Environment Day, and in Japan, the Basic Environmental Law (1993) defines "Environment Day".

In addition, from fiscal 1991, the month of June is designated as “Environment Month”. During June, various events will be held nationwide by relevant ministries and local governments (from the Ministry of the Environment website).

That's why "Environmental Panel Exhibition" is also being held here in Chuo-ku.

At the venue, the effects and countermeasures of environmental issues occurring on a global scale, and what we can work on are displayed in an easy-to-understand panel.

It is a very useful panel exhibition that makes the earth where we live difficult to live and easy to live are the consciousness, mind, and action of each of us who live now.

Kinshibai is a member of the family Rosaceae, and Byou willow is also the same.

It seems that the shape of the 5-valve rounded flowers resembles a plum, and there are many stamens, and it looks like a bundle of gold thread, so it is called "Kinito plum".

I came from China about 200 years ago.

The willow willow is also a tree that came from China about 300 years ago, and its branches are slightly hanging down, and its leaves are similar to willow, so it is called willow willow.

The way to distinguish it from Kinshibai is that the stamen of the willow willow is long and popping out of the petals, while the stamen of Kinshibai is contained in the petals.

Biyo willow (Mioyanagi) is a name given in Japan, and it is said that it is derived from Bai Juyi's poem "Nagato Uta".

There is a passage in which Emperor Xuan Zong wrote the willow of Mio Palace like Yang Gui's eyebrows, and a tree with beautiful flowers and leaves similar to willows are called "Mioyanagi" in comparison to this story. It is said that it came to be. It is sometimes referred to as "beauty willow".

In the rainy season, the season of dizziness continues, but the yellow flowers and yellow willows, which bloom yellow flowers all at once, brighten the surrounding atmosphere.
