Hatchobori's “Nikomaru (250 yen) lunch box”

[Apricot peony] June 25, 2012 08:30

When I walk outside at noon, I see a lot of lunch boxes sold here and there.
The menu is full of ethnic styles in Japanese, Western and Chinese.
As for the price, a one coin (500 yen) lunch box came out a little ago, and if you thought it was terrible, a thank-you (390 yen) lunch box appeared immediately, and it was a reasonable content, so inflation bubble I'm sorry that it's really good for the generation who experienced it.

However, if I was surprised at the thank you (390 yen) lunch box, there was even more!

Near the Keika Square in Hatchobori, the name of the shop is "Nikomaru (250 yen) Bento" in Z Bali. What, more than 10 kinds of lunch boxes are all 250 yen! !

On this day, I bought an Italian hamburger lunch box.

Along with lettuce, a hamburger with tomato sauce, and the side dish is fried chicken, fried shrimp, fried egg, and pickles. There is also a solid amount of rice, and it is enough if it is not an extra gutsuri system.

ck1203_1206222.jpgIn addition, there are a wide variety of menus such as ginger grilled, vinegared pork, meat and potatoes, grilled fish, roast cutlet, chicken nanban, etc., so there are regulars, but I don't get tired of it every day.
At lunchtime, there must have been a lot of people at the cash register, and there must have been a lot, but it is convinced that it will be sold out in no time.

The reason why it's delicious and so low is that the headquarters in Urayasu is a fresh supermarket, fresh ingredients are available cheaply, and rice is also self-milled, and efforts are made to cut down costs infinitely. That's right.

It's really a great friend for your wallet.

However, business hours are short from 11:00 to 13:00.

Please note that is absent on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

The site of Meiji Hall

[Apricot peony] June 16, 2012 08:30

The back of Kabukiza on Matsuya-dori, which leads from Ginza Matsuya to Tsukiji, often goes through, but the other day, in front of the Koseikan Building ahead of the magazine house, I found an explanation board called "Meiji Kaido Ruins"!
Since it was "March 201212", it was relatively recently built, but I didn't notice it at all.

ck1203_1206143.jpg ck1203_1206144.jpg

According to the explanation board, the Meiji Kaido, which was once in this place, was built in 1881 by Yukichi Fukuzawa, and is said to be the best in Tokyo for dinner, and its capacity is 3,000 people! It seems that there were 200 seats in the cafeteria.

In 1882, the formation ceremony of the Constitutional Reform Party was held, and in 1883, Japan's first Western-style dance party was held ahead of Shimeikan.
Later, from the possession of Fukuzawa, it was renamed "Koseikan" in the hands of the Ministry of Agriculture and Commerce, and it was paid to the private sector in 1890, but it seems that it disappeared in the Great Kanto Earthquake of 1923 .

The name "Koseikan" that still remains has such a origin.

By the way, in a short distance between the Koseikan Building and the next building, there is a monument to the birthplace of Senshu University, and on the corner of the street on the opposite side, there is a coffee shop `` Tree Flower '' that John Lennon liked very much.

Chuo-ku is not only a main street, but also just walking a little back street, it is only a place with history and history, so I really want to try [time slip]!

Stone mortar 100 years ago

[Apricot peony] June 7, 2012 15:00

The old "Kibikicho" on the east side of Ginza, especially around the back of Kabukiza Theater, is a place where even though it is Ginza, there are wooden houses and signboard architecture in a narrow alley, leaving a slightly retro atmosphere.

Of course, there are many large buildings, but small buildings such as private shops and stores have been rebuilt as they are are also noticeable.

ck1203_1206073.jpg
Is such a building still home to residents of the past, or even if it is a building, it is full of downtown atmosphere by putting trees at the entrance.

Among them, there is a small building with beautiful flower pots and a stone Chozubachi where medaka is swimming.

When I asked the owner, the stone Chozubachi was the "stone mortar" used in the dumpling shop, which the owner's grandfather was doing near here in Meiji period.

ck1203_1206071.jpg
The lower right rear end is partially chipped.
It was said that it was because it was fired during the Great Kanto Earthquake.

After that, the reconstruction plan decided to build "Showa-dori", and the dumpling shop was evacuated and moved to Tsukiji to continue business.
During the Pacific War, the stone mill was able to maintain its appearance, probably because it was near St. Luke Hospital, escaped from the damage of the air raid.
However, when we resumed business after the war, we decided to replace new tools, and this stone mill was about to be disposed of.
So, the father of the owner, who was the third son of a dumpling shop, said, "I can't help anything with memories."

This place happened to be very close to the place where my grandfather opened a dumpling shop.
For about 100 years, after passing through the Great Kanto Earthquake and the war, Ishiusu, who returned to this place, was rebuilt into a building, and even after his father died, became the home of medakas and passed by. It delights the eyes of the people who pass.

Every day at Tsukiji Market is "Limited Items"

[Apricot peony] June 1, 2012 08:30

You can buy the same item anytime and anywhere - it's very thankful for consumers.
However, you can buy items that can only be obtained there that day-I'm also happy.
If you say so, it may be considered "limited products" such as brand products and sweets, but if you think carefully, most of the fresh foods are affected by various conditions such as weather.
You shouldn't have the same thing as yesterday today.

In particular, the market is a place where such changes can be clearly understood, and the goods you want are not available or unexpected.
There are always unexpected discoveries, and Mainichi is Wonderland with only limited itemshappy02.

The other day, after a long time, when I went to Tsukiji Market's "place", there was something unexpected.
It's "Salmon Halas Skewer"sign01
ck1203_1205312.jpg

Salmon Halas, along with tuna jojo meat and kama, has become quite common, but I saw the skewer for the first time.
When I looked at the signboard of the shop, I was supposed to specialize in eels, turtles, etc., so did you come up with the idea of "stabbing on skewers"?
When I grilled it with the grill at home, it was really delicious as if it were yakitori.
However, the shopman said, "Today is just a moment, and it's not always always there!"
This is exactly a limited itemscissors.

And I was able to get the most important item "Law Puna Butts".
I was a little late, so I was worried that the store I always went to was closed, but he said, "I'm busy today and I don't have much time to subdivide into a pack, so I'm just going to put it out right now."sign03

Yes, in Tsukiji's market, "You can get good items if you go quickly" is a big mistake if you only say "Shiroto".sign01

Early hours serve professional cooks and regular customers, so the shoppers are full of hands.
From around 9 o'clock, those people retreat, and from 9:30 to 10 o'clock, they take a break.
In the past, it was closed as it was, so after 11 o'clock it was rattled, but recently the number of general customers and tourists has increased, so the number of shops operating until near noon has increased.
Therefore, half-finish items of the day can be subdivided into packs for 2-3 people, or what was sold in units of 1 kg can be from 100g.
Sometimes there are items that have been canceled, and the price is the legal fish shore, and the shop says, "I can't bring it because I can't afford it."

ck1203_1205311.jpg
In addition to the two points, I bought this day, dried saury from Shishamo and Ofunato, smoked duck, and shumai.

Everyone, because they went to the place that day, they only bought them.

When I return home and put the items I bought in the refrigerator, it may be a bit exaggerated, but "I'm glad I met something really good today."
Thank you to everyone involved in these items. "
