Kiboricho Gourmet behind Kabukiza-"Vomero"

[Apricot peony] March 23, 2013 09:00

With the opening of the new Kabukiza, the area around Higashi-Ginza Station has attracted attention from many people.
The current address is "Ginza", but from the Edo period to 1951, it was a venerable place name called "Kibikicho".
For this reason, unlike Chuo-dori, there is a Chozubachi with plants and medakas in the alley, making it a very friendly atmosphere with a downtown atmosphere.

While there are old famous shops and restaurants favored by Kabuki actors, the alleys with the famous Ochiai chef La Bettla da Ochiai is a fierce battlefield for delicious shops.

Coincidentally, in this correspondent blog, the Italian "Buffo" introduced by me, the pork cutlet "Nishi-eup" introduced by Ginzo, the "Tokuuchiyama" introduced by Maritsuki, and the stew introduced by Mapo "Elbe" are all in the same alley.

ck1203_130321 (2). jpgEven so, the most popular dish is the Italian "Vomero", which opened last April.
It's very popular enough to form a line from just after it opened.

Especially on weekday lunches, appetizers + foccia + favorite pizza or pasta + drinks, foccia is all-you-can-eat, and the price is just 1,000 yen!
It's very popular with men.

If you enter the open-air entrance, you will see a large pizza oven.
The interior is bright and friendly, and the young staff members are thrilling, creating a very good atmosphere.

I was with my two friends on this day, so I decided to order Bongore, homemade sausage rugu and oyster pasta with seasonal vegetables, and decided to share them.

First of all, it's an appetizer.
Focaccia is all-you-can-eat, so it's already replaced at this stage.
However, I was surprised that the next pizza that came out was so big!
As expected, not only the dough that is impressed by the pizza baked in a kettle, but also the vegetables on the top are very delicious, and even though I am worried that I can eat it, my hands will grow.

While saying that, 2 kinds of pasta appeared.
The chewy and chewy pasta seems to be not raw, but it is delicious that can be addicted. The homemade sausage lag sauce is an exquisite balance with oysters as an accent.
Bongore had a good taste of clams, and I had a firm juice with the added foccia.

Finally, I'm very satisfied with tightening with fragrant coffee!
I'm convinced that there is a line.

ck1203_130321 (1). jpgThis area has many shops closed on Saturdays and Sundays, but I'm glad that Vomero is open all day.
The menu and price are slightly different from weekdays, but there are also lunch.
And of course, there are courses that can be enjoyed by two people at night and party plans.

One more specialty shop was opened in Kiboricho gourmet.

Kibikicho Square-Kabukiza Underground

[Apricot peony] March 14, 2013 14:00

The new Kabukiza Theater is now less than a month to open.
The installation work of the tower in the front has been completed, and the mood is rising above.

As soon as possible, the subway Higashi-Ginza Station and the basement of the building were connected, and escalators and elevators were installed, making it very convenient.

ck1203_130313 (4). jpg  ck1203_130313 (8). jpg

And the nice thing is that a very fun space called "Kibikicho Square" was born underground!

ck1203_130313 (10). jpg  ck1203_130313 (2). jpg

This plaza is said to be considered in response to disasters, but if you go out of the subway ticket gate and go a little further, the space will first spread out, and from the high ceiling, the large Japanese lantern marked "Kabukiza" is falling.
ck1203_130313 (13). jpg  ck1203_130313 (11). jpg

There were quite a few people taking a commemorative photo in front of this Japanese lantern, so shooting here may become a standard in the future.

In the back, parasols are lined up on the bench, which is very convenient for meeting and resting.
The various shops are lined up on the wall, so it looks very spacious, but once the performance starts, I think it will surely be crowded with many people.

ck1203_130313 (15). jpg  ck1203_130313 (14). jpg

Rooftop gardens and galleries can be reached from here, but the opening has only opened, so it is still closed now.

By the way, what kind of shops are in the square is that first of all, it is a souvenir for lunch boxes that are indispensable for the ticket office, a local information corner, a combination cafe, a general store, a restaurant, and a play .

Above all, at the souvenir shop "Kaomise", there are many items that can only be purchased here, so you can get lost.

ck1203_130313 (17). jpg  ck1203_130313 (18). jpg

Starting with goods related to actors and Kabuki performances, he discovered a demonstration sale of Kintsuba, which was once in the theater, while fashionable packages of rice crackers and sweets were lined up.
Wow, I was happy to be able to eat again.
ck1203_130313 (1). jpg  ck1203_130313 (16). jpg

In addition, there is a corner of freshly baked bread next to it.
"Kumatori bean paste" has matcha in Ogura and seasonal cherry blossoms, so I think it is inevitable to eat it, but it is too delicious, so it seems that I will go out to the extent I intend to take it home as a souvenir .

In addition, the recommended item is "Early Roll Soft Cream" which I thought about.
A gem made by soft serve ice cream and crushing Kabuki fried rice cracker.
The sweetness of soft serve ice cream and the saltiness of Kabuki fried are matchless.

If you go out of this square using an escalator and elevator to the ground, it is exactly the front of Kabukiza Theater.

It's so fun that I'm going to shop and just forget the time, but I hope you don't forget the start time.
