[Apricot peony] Nov. 20, 2013 09:00

ck1203_20131119 (1). jpgFrom October 19 to December 23, the Local Tenmonkan (Time Dome Akashi) will hold an original painting exhibition by Tamotsu Nagai, a painter from Chuo-ku, entitled "Children's Picture Book, Adult Manga". .

Tamotsu Nagai was born in Nihonbashi in 1915, and was widely active in picture books such as manga and Kinder Books in the early Showa era, as well as people and landscape sketches in "Monthly Nihonbashi" and "Ginza Hundred Points". He died at the age of 88 in 2004.

More than 4,000 works and favorite items were donated by the bereaved family, and this time the special exhibition was held.

In connection with the special exhibition, there were public lectures and lectures. On November 2, a symposium called "Tamotsu Nagai's View Landscape" was held as a Chuo Ward College Open College.

Moderators are Professor Hidenobu Jinnai, professor of Hosei University and director of the local astronomy, panelists are Fumie Ichikawa, president of Galli Puss, Taketo Kamibayashi, former editor-in-chief of "Monthly Nihonbashi", Koji Ogawa, Japanese painter, and Local Tenmonkan General Cultural Property Research Instructor Koichi Noguchi.

At the beginning, Dr. Noguchi introduced the footprints of Tamotsu Nagai, and Fumie Ichikawa, who had a personal friendship, showed his personality and various episodes.

Taketo Kamibayashi talked about Tamotsu Nagai and Nihonbashi, and Koji Ogawa was a painter and talked about how Chuo-ku was painted since the Edo period.

On the way, various episodes were also shown by the bereaved family who came to the audience and the owner of Taimeiken, who always asked for catering for the opening party of the solo exhibition.

The stylish atmosphere of Nihonbashi during the time when there was a fish shore, and the personality loved and respected by many people seemed to come to life in the story of the people of the edge.

From the audience, the paintings of the war era, which were not talked much much, are also depicted in detail with equipment that was not revealed as military secrets, and the viewpoint as a painter is truly wonderful and historically valuable. , And the panelists and their bereaved families were surprised.

The exhibition I saw after listening to everyone's fun story seemed to be a warm person of Tamotsu Nagai and the scenery of Nihonbashi and Ginza in the Taisho era and Showa era revived, so I was able to enjoy it very much.

The special exhibition "Children's Picture Book, Adult Manga-Tamotsu Nagai Original Painting Exhibition" will be held until December 23.

Admission is free.

Located at the intersection of Harumi-dori St. and Shin-ohashi-dori St., Bon Marche, located on the second floor of the KY Building, is a popular restaurant in the Tsukiji Market.

You can easily enjoy a part of the menu of "Bon Marche" at a bar-style shop at "Bon Marche Deli & Bar" on the first floor.

From 17:00 to 21:00, it is the perfect bar time for drinking choi, but from 11:00 to 16:00, Delhi & sweets time centered on takeout.

In particular, takeout lunch at lunchtime is super recommended.

ck12031113 (4). jpgFirst of all, the chef's special daily lunch that you can't understand the contents until that day.

Initially, it was limited to 10 meals a day, but now it is limited to 15 meals due to its popularity.

There are many meats such as chicken and pork, but despite the price of 630 yen, there was also a day called "Wagyu Steak Bento" the other day.

I was really lucky when I hit this day.

And there are also pasta lunch and soup on a special daily menu.

The soup changes depending on the day, such as minestrone, pumpkin potage, and bird dumplings.

ck12031113 (1). jpg ck12031113 (8). jpg

And my favorite is homemade focaccia sandwiches.

There are two kinds of dishes every day, but the contents are daily such as vegetable cheese, BLT and omelet.

ck12031113 (7). jpg

At lunchtime, a set of 320 yen sandwiches and a 350 yen soup for a single item is 525 yen, which is super advantageous.

Both sandwiches and soups contain plenty of ingredients, so this alone is quite satisfactory.

The burdock and potato potage of this day was irresistible with the good scent of burdock all the way home.

ck12031113 (10). jpgWhat's more nice is that we also sell "Orimine Baker's" bread near St. Luke's.

Originally, "Orimine", which sells folding boxes in the out-of-market market, started this bakery with the desire to make delicious bread.

Nowadays, not only have a lot of fans in the neighborhood, but also has been featured in the media and it is a famous shop among bread lovers.

It's really helpful because you can buy it along the riverside without going to St. Luke's.

In addition, sweets also have various cakes besides the original chiffon cake named "HARUMI", and it is very valuable in Tsukiji, where there are surprisingly few cake shops.

ck12031113 (9). jpgThis Delhi & Bar has been open for half a year since it opened, but the staff is very bright and friendly, including sommelier qualified Lin Taro, so there are many regulars, `` I'm requesting an egg foccia sandwich ~ "or "I didn't exist yesterday, but was it closed?" You can see the scenery where you can easily call out, such as "

The peaceful conversation between these staff and regulars is a very human-rich atmosphere of Tsukiji.

Speaking of Tsukiji, there are many people who think "sushi" as "seafood bowl", but there are also such stylish shops, so please come and visit us.

The charming Italian Ill Ponte of the appetizer

[Apricot peony] Nov. 2, 2013 09:00

When the famous chef Ochiai opened "La Betla da Ochiai" in Ginza, but in the back alleys close to Tsukiji and Shintomi, this area was almost no Italian restaurants around.

However, in the last few years, Italians have opened one after another, and it's like "Ura Ginza Italian Street".

Behind the Kabukiza Theater, there are wooden houses and alleys, and the atmosphere full of stylish downtown atmosphere did Italian chefs like a stylish but unpredictable shop?

ck1203_20131029 (3). jpg

Before that, in April, a delicious pizza "Vomelo" opened about 20m ahead.

As Nagamine owner and chef Nagamine said, "I thought I was a newcomer, but I will open one after another." In March this year, just before the opening of the Kabukiza Theater, "Muchini," where you can eat in at a truffle specialty store and "Clutchini," a charismatic chef, opened one after another.

In addition, several stores have opened, and in September the Sicily cuisine "Cantina Sicitiliana" opened.

In such a fierce battlefield, each restaurant competes with a variety of personalities, such as baking pizza in a dedicated firewood kiln ordered from Italy, and making everything homemade from bread to raw pasta.

Meanwhile, this "Il Ponte" is elaborate on appetizers.

It may be rude to the chef to give the appetizer first than the main or pasta, but please forgive me that the other menu is naturally delicious.

For lunch, foccia with appetizer assorted appetizers, one from three types of pasta, and 1260 yen with drinks.

There is also an optional dessert.

On the day I went, there were four kinds of appetizers: pesticide-free vegetables Baña cauda, aged inca, stewed vegetables, 3 kinds of mushrooms and dried tomatoes.

Pasta was chosen from broccoli and scallops cream sauce penne, bongolevianko spaghetti, and spaghetti of squid marinara (tomato and anchovie).

First of all, four kinds of appetizers are served on one plate.

ck1203_20131029 (8). jpg

The foreground is the roast of "Inca's Meal", a rare potato species that has recently been seen.

I've eaten several times, but it's too excited and elegant sweetness, so when I ask, I use one-rank higher thing that was once harvested and matured. Or

This sweetness and the soft acidity of the marinade of the neighboring mushrooms and dried tomatoes are exquisite harmony.

Organic vegetables have a high aroma and are crispy, and the sauce is creamy.

Each dish is delicious even if you eat it alone, but if you eat it alternately with the next one, the taste will further enhance.

I was wondering if pasta was scallops or squid, but it was a penne rather than spaghetti, so I chose it for scallops.

The cream sauce was rich but not too strong, so the taste of broccoli and scallops was solid.

ck1203_20131029 (4). jpg

ck1203_20131029 (2). jpgThe last coffee is ground from beans each time, so it has a higher aroma and deeper than a coffee specialty store, and I felt the care of the chef who was particular about it until the end.

It is a small shop with a maximum of 26 people when seated, but only two staff members are owner chef Nagamine and chef Araki.

Even though it was a busy lunch time, I was confused about choosing pasta, and after eating, I asked me, "How was it?"

ck1203_20131029 (1). jpg ck1203_20131029 (7). jpg

(Photo left: Chef Nagamine, right: Chef Araki)

It is said that the chef was in the Umbria region of Italy, but in Japan he worked at shops in Hiroo, etc., and they are both senior juniors at that time.

Chef Araki respects the owner chef of Nagamine, and the owner chef of Nagamine feels the atmosphere of trusting Chef Araki, and it is a warm and comfortable shop with the concept of "imagining the Italian countryside".

ck1203_20131029 (6). jpgVarious parties are also OK, and there is also an "all-you-can-drink course" where you can combine appetizers, mains, desserts, etc. yourself. (4 or more people)

At the time of checkout, saying, "I'll come again!" Is not a social resignation, but a shop I really want to go many times. (→ Click to increase it.)
