On April 9, when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, I went to the newly built "Tsukuda Terrace" in Paris Square in Tsukuda.
"Tsukuda Terrace" was built as part of the art project "Tokyo In Progress - View from Sumida River" by artist Tadashi Kawamata. It seems to be the second work after "Shioiri Tower" built in Shioiri Park, Tokyo in Arakawa.
Completed on March 20 this year. The exhibition will be held until the end of 2012.
Do you think it's a wooden one and three meters high?
You can go up along the slope, and the upper part has a little space in the observation deck.
You can see Eitai Bridge in front and the Sky Tree in the back, and this object stands at one of the most scenic spots on Tsukuda Island.
It was a nearby kindergarten child, and little children were taken by the teacher and went to observation deck happily.
I was waving my hand on a sightseeing boat going through the Sumida River.
When the wind blew, the building swayed, and the fear of the suspension bridge was a little bit.
A stunning view of the cherry blossoms at Tsukuda Park and Shin-Kawabata.
The weather was good and I was able to have a refreshing time.
