On August 1st (Sun), about 60 women in yukata gathered and the "Nihonbashi Uchimizu Daisakusen" was held. .
This day is a sunny and hot day, and the effect of watering is expected. The event started around 16:00 at Taki no Hiroba in Hashizume, southeast of Nihonbashi.
Following a speech by Mr. Taneo Nakamura, Chairman of the Executive Committee of ECO EDO Nihonbashi, Mr. Kunio Takahashi, Deputy Mayor of Mitsui Fudosan, and Mr. Kageyama, Senior Managing Director of Mitsui Fudosan, actress Tomoko Nakajima gave a greeting.
Mr. Nakajima is a member of the Ministry of the Environment's biodiversity "Earth Ikimono Cheering Team".
After this, women in yukata lined up on the eastern sidewalk of Nihonbashi and sprayed water all at once. Repair work on the road has already begun, so we sprayed water on the sidewalk.
