Exhibition of materials by cultural people who are related to Tsukuda and Tsukishima

[The cat on the slope] May 26, 2011 16:30

From the end of February to the beginning of March this year, the Tsukishima Library Collection Exhibition was held at the Tsukishima Library, displaying materials from cultural people who are related to Tsukuda and Tsukishima. Some of them are still on display in the library, so if you missed this exhibition, please come and visit us.

(Left) Shortly after I came to Tsukuda, I borrowed "Tsukishima Monogatari again" by Inuhiko Yomota (resident in Nagaya in Tsukishima from '88-'94) at the Tsukishima Library and was absorbed in reading. By the way, Shigeru Mizuki, the creator of the mouse man drawn on this colored paper, once lived in Tsukishima (currently Kachidoki 5-chome).

(Right) Ira Ishida's `` 4TEEN '', who has lived in Tsukishima, depicts 14-year-old boys living in Tsukishima (When I read this work at Tsukishima Library, It was just the year when the age of the boys who appeared ...)

I also borrowed and read Tsukudajima Futari Shobo by Tatsuro Dekune, a used bookstore in Tsukishima, Bungado, and worked at the Tsukishima Library.

It seems that this mini-exhibition can be seen for a while even in June. Please contact the Tsukishima Library (03-3532-4391) for the exact exhibition period. Nevertheless, thanks to the Tsukishima Library, I have read various books related to Tsukuda and Tsukishima. Thank you very much for your continued support!

A toothbrush specialty store in Ginza ★Mega Dent

[Mapo ★] May 26, 2011 08:30

From Yurakucho to near Tsukuda-ohashi Bridge, I happened to find a shop when I walked along Ginza Yanagi-dori St.
What a toothbrush specialty store? I tried it because it looked interesting (laughs).

It seems that it is a shop with a head office in Germany.
megadent (MegaDent)

RIMG5972.JPG RIMG5971.JPG

I asked you to introduce some toothbrushes that I don't sell much elsewhere.
One of them, the shape has changed, so I tried it.

It seems to be a standard and popular toothbrush in Sweden.
There are various sizes, and there are three levels of hardness.

RIMG6029.JPG

I bought it in a pair with my husband. Even if you hold this quite tight, you don't feel like it.
It seems that the handle part is quite hard and easy to grip.

In addition to the toothbrush, there seems to have been many dental care products.
I don't have much time and I can't see it slowly.

The tongue brush seems to be good for preventing colds. ★Let's buy it next time♪

Shiseido The Ginza is open! How to enjoy the three floors♪

[Mapo ★] May 19, 2011 09:00

Shiseido The Ginza (SHISEIDO THE GINZA) is a comprehensive beauty facility for Shiseido.
It opened on May 14th. You were also on TV!
The location is the building next to Shiseido Parlour across Hanatsubaki Street.

RIMG6801.JPG RIMG6806.JPG

When I looked into various things online, I found that the dressing table was on the second floor.
There was a paid powder room where you could try new cosmetics.
There are 10 cute rooms with different atmospheres.
It seems that you can rent a hair dryer etc. with free drinks.
It's 840 yen for 30 minutes.
I made a reservation right away and went there on the 16th.

There is also a washbasin booth, but I don't have time, so I just need to fix my makeup today.
By the way, it's 105 yen to rent a towel.

RIMG6811.JPG RIMG6810.JPG

Choose your room first.
Choose such a cute room based on white!
There is also a key door on the right side of the table to hold valuables.

RIMG6817.JPG RIMG6805.JPG

First of all, there are rules, and up to 5 items that can be brought into the room at once.
But if you use it back, you can borrow any number of items as many times as you want.

Select the first 5 items while asking various questions to the staff.
First, take the oil on the face with oil control paper.
Then wipe your eyes with a cleansing sheet.

RIMG6809.JPG RIMG6812.JPG

Then with mineral foundation of integrate.
It's a very natural finish.
And the eyes are also integrate Rain Bogue Rade Eyes
The eyeliner is a cream pencil from Majolica Mallorca.
This is soft and easy to draw!

From there, I went to get the next item again.
5 minutes left at this point! That's why it was extended (+420 yen)

Maquialage Feace Creator (Horon)
Gramaras Rouge of Integrate and
True shining gloss.
The glalamorous rouge was a cute color.
Mascara is Macara’s full vision mascara
The shape of the tip of the hair is different and it is easy to apply.

When I was in my twenties, my friend worked in Shiseido, so I used it often.
It's been a long time since I've been using makeup products.
All Shiseido's products are good~ (* ^^*)
The color is clear and the eyeliner and mascara are easy to use.

But if you ask the staff a lot and choose, 30 minutes is not enough.
Well, I can stay for hours (laughs).
It's fun if you go with your friends!

It's very relaxing in terms of space.
It may take an hour and a half if you really want to make a makeup.
This is because I usually take only 15 minutes for makeup, so people who take time may need about 3 hours (^^;

Also, on the second floor, there are places where you can have a skin diagnosis or have a professional person make makeup.
On the 3rd floor, there is also an esthetics and counseling room at Cre de Po Beaute.

And the first floor is Beauty marche. Shiseido's cosmetics are available.
Among them, the most surprising thing was this Mirai Kagami!
When you put the barcode of cosmetics, information about cosmetics appears on the panel below.
If you press the color button, you can simulate using the cosmetics.
It's amazing! I tried the teak, but my cheeks turned pink or orange.
I feel like the times have come so far (laughs).

RIMG6818.JPG RIMG6819.JPG

And this room at Majolica Mallorca. (Upper right)
All the drawers here are open and cosmetics are inside!

I couldn't take a picture because the room in Makage was full of guests.
The testers are lined up on the table and are all-you-can-use.

There are all colorful and fun products just by looking at it.
The pleasure of going to Ginza has increased by one!

The staff were all very kind and friendly.

English guidance for Hamarikyu Gardens-Semi-day sightseeing hospitality for foreign guests (2)

[Aun (Aun)] May 17, 2011 09:30

hamarikyuucontrast20110514.jpgFor business customers from overseas, I would like to pursue "Chuo-ku where they can enjoy" Japanese-style "in a limited short time" for those who have difficulty securing a sufficient sightseeing schedule.

This time, on the homepage introducing Hamarikyu Garden, "We provide a garden guide in English (free) for foreigners. Saturday / Sunday: 11:00 am ", and on sunny May 14 (Saturday), we asked for a companion without prior permission. I will come to the site where the volunteer guide guides the customers and walks. The duty volunteer guide on this day is Mr. T. Mr. T, who speaks English with beautiful pronunciation fluently, is an active business person who has lived overseas and is an Audit & Supervisory Board Member at a logistics company. I saw him in his 50s, but I was jealous of not only his English conversation skills but also his gentleman-like appearance.

By the way, in the actual performance, Mr. T called out "Good morning" to a group of four foreign men who came shortly after I had obtained Mr. T's permission, and the leader said "No!" I passed. Mr. T explains to me, "That misunderstands me as a key money. Especially in developing countries, tourist destinations tend to guide them as kind, and some people demand chips later. Even if you make a mistake in that kind of thing, you should not be surprised."   I once thought, "Mr. T should lower the placard that he wrote" GUIDE FREE "to his chest," and thought, "But this good free appeal may be rather suspicious."

Mr. T started a one-on-one guide to the next arrival in the early 30s and the wake-up man. He wants to take a water bus bound for Asakusa departing at 11:45, so he will take a walk with a good tempo from "300 Years of Pine" to "Yon Liaokan Ruins" and "Shioiri no Ike" direction. However, the process explanation is omitted. My guest told me that I was visiting Japan for the second time last fall, and I was with my wife. This time, for business purposes, I arrived in Tokyo on Wednesday and flew to Hong Kong tomorrow Monday. Because I belong to a foreign financial company, it is a breathtaking sightseeing while traveling on a business trip.
At the arbor in the garden, while listening to the explanation of the restoration model of Masugata castle pointed to by Mr. T, I thought it would be effective to visualize past scenes like this restoration model and make it easier to contrast with the landscape here. A few years later, when CG videos such as falconry in the Edo period and duck hunting in Meiji period are skipped via wireless LAN, and guests stand at Kamoba while watching videos on the screens of smartphones and smart pads that they carry around. The guest was taking pictures in the wind that felt the high-rise building over the garden. The contrast between traditional Japanese-style scenery and modern times seemed interesting. It may not be seen in Kanazawa / Kenrokuen, Okayama / Korakuen or the gardens of the Adachi Museum of Art in Shimane Prefecture, and may be sold at Hamarikyu Gardens.
hamarikyuuvendingmachine20110514.jpg

Press the "ENGLISH" button on the upper right at the beginning of the screen operation on the ticket vending machine bound for Asakusa at the water bus stop, and you can buy the ticket according to the English display thereafter. It would be natural for those who know, but I was impressed.

Tea salon at Ginza Cozy Corner ★1-chome Main Store

[Mapo ★] May 12, 2011 09:00

The cozy corner of Ginza 1-chome main store, which was reopened on April 28.
There is no cozy corner in Osaka, so it's affordable and good as a souvenir.
I used this store often, but I have always used this store.
It's my first time to go to the tea salon on the second floor.

The store on the first floor has changed quite a bit, and the wall behind the showcase is also Paris-like.
It was very fashionable.

RIMG6715 (2). Thumbnail image of JPG RIMG6718 (2). JPG

The second floor is also nice. The walls are decorated with baked madleine and financiers.
I recommend strawberry millefeuille. It's 1300 yen with a drink.

The volume was amazing, so I ordered a premium shortcake set.
This is 980 yen with a drink.
It's a great deal because it comes with fruits and ice cream.
The cozy corner is named Ginza, but it is not Ginza price (* ^^ *)

RIMG6721 (2). JPG RIMG6722 (2). JPG

The chocolate noir set ordered by the master is also 980 yen with a drink.
Moose is also an adult chocolate cake with a modest sweetness.

RIMG6720 (2). JPG RIMG6729.JPG

It seems that there is also a tart finished by patissier at the demonstration corner on the 1st floor.

This day was April 30, in the middle of a three-day holiday.
There were a lot of people in Ginza, and the shop was also a lot of customers.
The staff responded very well and I was able to spend a very relaxing time.

On the way home, I bought a cheesecake "Hichikuchi no Happiness" limited to the main store on the first floor.
I put a cold pack and brought it back to Osaka because it fits the wine.
We could taste it on the spot, and it was a rich and very delicious cheesecake.

RIMG6732.JPG RIMG6735.JPG

There are a lot of other limited sweets, and it's hard to see!

The petit cream puff that I saw for the first time seemed to be delicious, but I gave up because it was today.
I bought an ice cake and went home, but this is also delicious (* ^^*)
I like chocolate and cookies from the dog and cat series at the cozy corner.
It doesn't seem to be available at this store now.
