The day after tomorrow is the Tokyo Marathon. This is the 6th time of the event. I participated in the 1st and 2nd consecutive times, but since then I have lost to the high competition rate and have been dedicated to supporting Tsukuda-ohashi Bridge every year.
By the way, did you know that anyone can enter the Tokyo Marathon Expo held at Tokyo Big Sight free of charge without participating in the marathon as a runner? In fact, the Chuo-ku Tourism Association also exhibits at this Tokyo Marathon Expo every year. As I went earlier, souvenirs unique to Chuo-ku, such as seaweed from Yamamotoyama, candy from Eitaro, and Senshafuroshiki, were sold. Of course, you can also get useful information for sightseeing in Chuo-ku (I didn't have a camera, so I'm sorry that I couldn't introduce the booth of the Chuo-ku Tourism Association with photos ...).
After all, Chuo-ku occupies the longest distance of the Tokyo Marathon courses. This expo will be held tomorrow Saturday as well. If you don't participate in the marathon, please come and visit us. The booth number of the Chuo-ku Tourism Association is C-7.
If you raise money for Great East Japan Earthquake at the venue, you will receive a yellow handkerchief limited to the Tokyo Marathon.
