I recommend silver making around the gallery in Ginza.

[Silver] January 27, 2012 08:30

I went to "Ginza Gallery Tour".

Mr. Yoko Noro, Vice President of Yanagi Gallery, guided us. After gathering at Yanagi Gallery before 12:00, paying 3,000 yen worth the lunch fee, listening to the chat and explanation for a while.

While having a delicious lunch at the Spanish food "Senol Masa", we headed for the gallery while talking about art and talking about small things.

At the Whitestone Gallery next to Yasuaki Elementary School, the Yayoi Kusama exhibition will be held until February 27. The explanation of Yayoi Kusama alone is impressive.

A collection of works that continue to run at the forefront of art as a unique existence that expresses the eternity that should be called the microcosmic by repeatedly drawing nets and polka dots, as well as the mystery of love and life, is exhibited. You can purchase it.

In "Galley Tamenaga", I was able to appreciate the paintings quietly. http://www.tamenaga.com/

At Shingendo, the president explained Chinese, Korean porcelain, Kakiemon, etc. in hand. I enjoyed studying art. Of course, you can purchase what you like in the gallery.

At Akika-dong, he showed a treasured ukiyo-e and a picture of a three-piece set of drama-like around 1877 with a careful explanation. This is the good thing about visiting the gallery, isn't it? http://www.aojc.co.jp/corp/

Historical Transition of the Tsukiji Market 1 (the value of the riverbank was 200 million yen in the past)

[kimitaku] January 21, 2012 08:30

Tsukiji Market has a fish department that handles many seafood and a fruit and vegetable department that handles fruits and vegetables.
Both are open early in the morning and are crowded with many customers.

sakanabu.jpg seikabu.jpgThe fruit and vegetable section is located along the Shin-ohashi-dori St. in the market, and the fish section is located along the Sumida River.

Compared to the fish section, the fruit and vegetable section is quietly operating without shouting.
The fish club boasts the largest handling in the world.

Today, Tsukiji Market is a relocation issue, and it has been talked about in various ways. From the end of last year, it seems that negotiations have begun in earnest. In November, there were various types of pier surveys on the Tokyo side. It may be difficult yet.

TUKIJISANNBASI.png By the way, in the market, the place that deals with seafood is called the riverbank. The rights of banks were valued at 200 million yen during the bubble period.
This is the amount assessed by a financial institution that it is worth a loan of 200 million yen with this right. Nowadays it is not so valuable, and it is said that millions of yen are the market price (the story of related parties).

Here, I would like to unravel the history of the market from the Edo period.

Edo Castle was built by Michio Ota in the Middle Ages on the site of Edo's mansion in the first year of Choroku (1457).

At that time, the population seemed to be less than 3,000, and until the relocation of Tokugawa Ieyasu in 1590, the market was Shibahama: There is now Shiba Shinmei, Minato-ku (Rakugo of Danshi Tatekawa: famous for Shibahama), and in front of the Imperial Palace Hirakawa Gate (in front of the current Mainichi Shimbun), there is a four-day market where the city stands on the fourth day (mainly dried fish). did.

HIRAKAWAMON.jpg After entering the castle, Ieyasu destroyed Kadoyama as part of the Edo promotion measures, reclaimed Hibiya Inlet with the earth and sand, and created the entire Nihonbashi area. At that time, the flow of the Hirakawa flowing from north to south was changed to the east, which became the Nihonbashi River.
After Nihonbashi was built, the city stood on both banks of the Nihonbashi River, bringing seafood, fruits and vegetables, and all kinds of goods from various directions, enriching the town of Edo.
In addition, fruits and vegetables go down Arakawa from the whole Kanto area, especially from Kawagoe area, and seafood is transported by boat from Edo Bay, Tsukuda Island, Shiba, and far away from Gyotoku area, climb the Sumida River, enter the Nihonbashi River, line the riverbank. Was lined up.

I'll continue next time.

Hotel Seiyo Ginza - Kabuki Performance Special Menu

1. January 11, 2012 08:30

In January, theater, Kunitachi, Heisei Nakamuraza, Asakusa Public Hall, and Lucetatre Ginza are opening lively Kabuki performances. At Luteatre Ginza, Tamasaburo's New Year Special Performance (Chiakiraku on the 26th) will be held as in last year, and a special menu is available for a limited time.

100_0349.JPG

100_0350.JPGAt the B1 cake shop, it is "Mikasayama" (1,250 yen for 5 cups) and original dorayaki of chef pastries, based on the performance performance "Senshiyama Women's Garden Kun". According to the store's explanation, "The pesticide-free glutinous glutinous rice (Shinjo-mura, Okayama) cultivated with the support of the Ginza Mitsubachi Project, plus Okinawan brown sugar and rum sake, made with Kumamoto Japanese chestnuts. It is sandwiched with cream. " Certainly it is the freshness that overturns the traditional dorayaki concept of Japanese and Western mix.

Another point is "Kabuki Gimov" (1,050 yen per box)

Gimov (guimauve) is marshmallow in French. Three colors of chocolate, apricot, and matcha, named after the Kabukiza official curtain. I'm happy with this kind of playfulness. It seems that this has been made since last year. Speaking of which, I think that it is still new to remember that Tamasaburo-san became the head of the stage in January when Ebizo was unable to perform and entered large.

100_0355.JPG 100_0356.JPG
The formal curtains currently used in Kabukiza are "black", "persimmon color" and "moeyo" from the left hand of the stage, "black", "moeyo" and "persimmon color", and Nakamuraza is "black", "white" and "persimmon color" . Nakamura-za was the oldest and first Kanzaburo Nakamura worshiped the curtain of the Shogunate's charter boat `` Ataka Maru '' and added persimmon color to it to three colors. It has been said that the official curtain of the current Kabukiza is "Mori (Mori) Taza" and the national ceremony curtain follows "Ichimura-za". However, recently, the theory has been published that "the common theory is based on false misidentification, and the color tone of Kabukiza is the same as that of Ichimura-za and that of the national government is" Morita-za ". (Shochiku's official website) If verification progresses in the future, the long-standing theory may be overturned. I'm curious.

As you all know, there is a monument to "the birthplace of Edo Kabuki" next to the police box on the opposite side of Chuo-dori in Luteatar Ginza. That's right. This is where Kansaburo Saruwaka opened a playhouse in Nakahashi Nanchi in the first year of Kanei (1624). For your information, the stone monument on the right is the birthplace of Akuni Kabuki at the entrance of Minamiza, Kyoto. This is 1603 (1603). There is also a stone monument of "Radish Riverside Ruins" near the monument of "Edo Kabuki Birthplace", so why not take a stroll before and after the theater?

Supporters in the 10th ward of Hakone Ekiden Return Route

[Mumin] January 10, 2012 08:30

At 9:00 am on January 3, 2012, about 40 OBs and OGs from their alma mater gathered in front of Nihonbashi Intersection at 22 km in the 10th ward, opposite Nihonbashi Cored to support the Ekiden of Aoyama Gakuin University. The supporter's manager came at 8:00 am to get a place and receive banners and small flags. It's cold, but it's hard.

First of all, there is a little trick to assemble the banner, extend the pole and attach the banner. I did the same thing last year, but I completely forgot how to do it.

F1000390.JPG F1000392.JPGAt each base of the course of Hakone Ekiden, the subcommittees of the Alumni Association, the alumni association, and each branch along the roadside played a central role in cheering groups. Nihonbashi in the 10th ward is a high school alumni association.

At 10 o'clock, the number of supporters increased. The chairman of the Alumni Association of Seigaku provided the company's building right next to the rest room, and we took a break alternately with tea, rice balls, dorayaki, etc. Thanks to you, my heart and stomach have become warmer.

F1000394.JPGAt around 11:30, the 300 small flags distributed to those who supported us ended.

At around 12:00, the number of supporters increased.

F1000399.JPG

After 13:00, the support of the roadside becomes double-triple and cannot move. At around 13:20, Toyo University, the first place, passed, and 17 minutes later, I could see Ryotaro Otani of Seigaku University who waited.

It's only two seconds that the player passes by in front of him. For this reason, we have been preparing for the site for 4 and a half hours. However, since I became a seed school in 5th place, I will be a supporter next year.

F1000402.JPG F1000404.JPG

After all the players finished running, the school pastors also came to cheer with banners and so on, so all the supporters sang a prayer of thanks and a college song. I hope you will do your best next year and stay at Seed School. Thank you for the excitement of the players!

Early Spring Daikabuki-Shimbashi Enbujo

1. January 7, 2012 08:30

In the New Year, the 3rd day passed quickly, and tonight on the 4th, the first play!

At the front entrance of Shimbashi Enbujo, there are Kadomatsu, kagami mochi and Dai Hagoita in the center of the lobby. The audience coming and going through the lobby has many gorgeous visiting clothes and kimonos, and the atmosphere of the New Year's theater stands out.

100_0344.JPG 100_0348.JPG

The "Yanone" at night is one of the 18th Kabuki and the classic New Year's kyogen Soga. It was decided during the Kyoho period (1716-36) that Edo Kabuki performed "Soga Mono" as kyogen in early spring at New Year's entertainment. It is said to have the meaning of wishing for a year's security and rich harvest in a vibrant storm.

"Yanone" was premiered in 1729 (1729) when Danjuro, the second generation, performed at Nakamura-za during the New Year. On the 113th from New Year to May, after resting for 5 days, it became a record-breaking hit with a record scale of five days, and the jackpot gold made a storehouse called "Yanonezo". After this storehouse is the place name of today's "Yanokura". -There is a theory that, but the Shogunate built a rice warehouse around Higashi Nihonbashi 1-chome, and in the past there was a storehouse that stores arrows as lexical. It's not clear that there is a theory, but it's fun to have this "arrow root" hit.

Goro Mitsutsu, who plays this time, talks about "kyogen, where you can go to Ise-jingu Shrine on New Year's Day and enjoy the clean feeling of walking on a gravel."

When Ichimatsu shoji door in front of the stage rises, Goro Soga appears in the appearance of the main character of the storm of the car alba and Nioshiki. Leave with radish as a whip! It's a short kyogen, but you can enjoy it just like New Year.

In the evening part, the fifth generation of Juro Tomiyoshi Yoshiemon and Takanoshi's "Renshi", Kikugoro's "Megumi's fight", and more than 30 tombs are full of stage. The lion dance is also included in the parlor, making the New Year's mood even more exciting.

In the afternoon, "Aioi Lion", "Kinkaku-ji Temple" and "Kaga Tobi"

New Year Kabuki has many gorgeous and easy-to-understand kyogen, so even those who are looking for the first time can enjoy it. Would you like to go out to the theater to enjoy a slightly different early spring mood?
