3.11 The bell of the clock tower in Ginza Wako has been ringed 11 times.

1. March 11, 2012 17:23

Just a year has passed since the Great East Japan Earthquake. When you see images of the stricken area in the media reports of the past few days, piles and mountains of rubble that make you feel far away from recovery, as well as recovery. Many Tokyo residents would like to applaud the decision to accept rubble disposal by the governor. Memorial events are being held in various places, but in the Asahi Shimbun on March 8th, around 14:00 before Wako, looking at the enclosed article "11 times of memorial bell in Wako".

There is no postcard in the description of the show window saying, "Please bring a 100 postcards with messages from citizens to the affected areas and pictures of prefectural birds in the six prefectures of Tohoku."

As 14:46 approaches, the 4-chome intersection is people, people, people! A street that is not a pedestrian paradise is full of people. At 14:46, the bell began to sound exactly and everyone was silent!

Wako's clock tower usually sounds only during business hours, every time the time changes from 59 minutes to 00 minutes. It is the first time that I have heard this.

Wako, where the clock tower is located, is a landmark of Ginza, but according to the Chuo-ku Monoshiri Encyclopedia, the first clock tower was built in 1894 (1894). The second building with a clock tower was completed in 1932 (1932). After the war, it was requisitioned as a PX for the troops, and in 1952, when it was lifted, it was restarted as a commercial facility and building. Initially, the large clock tower was made in Germany, but it was changed to Seiko Quartz in 1966. That's right.

At Ginza Matsuya, a charity concert was held in front of the entrance to the 1st floor, and many people gathered.

I can't help but hope for quick recovery and reconstruction.

Kachidoki's pop art gallery btf

[The cat on the slope] March 7, 2012 09:00

Do you know the fun art gallery called "btf (butterfly stroke)" in Kachidoki?

Originally it was a warehouse, so the entrance may be a bit difficult to understand, but it looks like a warehouse gallery in the Brooklyn Dumbo district of New York. The staff members were also very friendly, and despite suddenly visiting and asking for a photo shoot, they accepted with a smile. Thank you very much, Mr. Chishima!

When you enter, there are a lot of fun and pop works lined up, and just looking at them will make you feel excited.

There are teeth in the toilet, and sardines on the bottom of boots ...

If you think about it, you can see such a nostalgic street scenery.

When I went there, the works of "Enomoto Osamu-san" and "Jose Frankie-san" were on display (until 25th of this month).

When you pass through this hole, you can see Enomoto's picture.

Enjoy sound and video at Pioneer Plaza Ginza

[Mapo ★] March 5, 2012 08:30

It was about a year ago that I discovered a Pioneer gallery.
I often go to Ginza on Monday, so it was always closed.
And one day in September, I was able to finally go to the opening day (* ^^ *)

Speaking of PIONEER, this was the case with stereos and headphones that were in my parents' home when I was a child.
And personally, the audio and navigation on the car have always been CARROZZZERIA.
The name is cool, and the audio system is a pioneer!
It has a strong image of a long-established sound.

The gallery that opened in January last year is very beautiful.

The first floor is a floor where you can experience interesting and new technologies and ideas.
When you enter this round egg, you can enjoy a variety of sounds.
Some of the birds' voices are healing, and some music comes with a zoon on the stomach.
You can also bring your own ipod and listen to the song.

There is a staff on the floor, so you can kindly teach me how to use it.

After that, if you touch the video with your finger, the shape will change.
Navigation experience that comes out on the windshield, etc.
There are a lot of interesting things.

And if you go underground, you will find a large screen home theater.
It seems that this speaker will cost 20 million yen.
This is an event for a listening experience from 12:00 to 14:00.

There is also a space where you can experience DJing!

I also went to the second floor.
There is a display of headphones on the wall above the stairs, and you can listen to them.

There are also exhibits such as adult rooms that incorporate home audio.
It's fun just to look at my room like this.★

There was a corner of CARROZZZERIA in the back, and there were many new products!
Car navigation systems are also evolving rapidly, so I want something new (laughs).

The explanation was also detailed, and I was able to take pictures casually.

Monthly events and details can be found on the Pioneer Plaza Ginza website.
