In Chuo-ku, various events are planned during the summer vacation at children's centers in each region. Develop children's rich experiences, such as “cooking classes”, “craft classes” and “movie shows”. 

Here [Tsukiji Children's Center], the annual event at the end of summer vacation, "Tsukiji Children's Center Summer Festival" was held. It was a hot Sunday, but more children and their families rushed more than usual. Everyone seems to be spending a lot of summer vacation, many children are tanned, and after all, they have a good face.

At the venue, children's performances were performed at the “Opening / Ending Ceremony”, and “Water gun shooting” and “Origami classroom” were set up as play experience corners. In addition, a meal booth was set up, and "Yakisoba" and "Shaved Ice" were provided. Many children, from the upper grades of elementary school to infants, spent a good day.

Children are the treasures of the region. I feel that the smile and cheer show the development and happiness of the town. The summer vacation will soon be over and the second semester will begin. I pray that the memories of this summer will be written on one page of their growth for a long time.

 From August 17th to September 24th, "Art Aquarium Exhibition 2012 & Night Aquarium" Edo Goldfish Cool "" is being held at Nihonbashi Mitsui Hall on the 5th floor of Coredo Muromachi.

The event was planned as special exhibition last year for the 100th anniversary of the Nihonbashi Bridge, and this year was held as part of "ECO EDO Nihonbashi 2012: Cool Japan Connecting with Hearts".

From 19:00 during the period, you can change your clothes to "Night Aquarium" and enjoy the coolness of the goldfish while enjoying a drink.

Goldfish has been popular among Japanese people since the Edo period as a color of summer coolness.

A project to enjoy the culture of Edo, "appreciating and cooling goldfish," in a modern style in Nihonbashi, the center of bustling.

In this exhibition, about 5,000 goldfish dance gracefully in the underwater space that collaborates with various art such as light and video with the motif of Japanese, creating coolness, gorgeousness, and delicateness.

Early replacement is the main, so it is digested conveniently and it is not exactly the same as the story of "Hagi" or "Aggregation", but it is guaranteed that you can enjoy it.
