Summer when the lively voices of children resonate in parks and public facilities in Chuo-ku. The summer vacation season is also a season for parents and children to interact, and a season for local people to interact peacefully.
Even in Chuo-ku, summer vacation is a season when there are many events and many memories remain for children. Many seasonal events, such as fireworks festival and Summer Festival Bon Odori, will be remembered forever.
In Chuo-ku, various events are planned during the summer vacation at children's centers in each region. Develop children's rich experiences, such as “cooking classes”, “craft classes” and “movie shows”.
Here [Tsukiji Children's Center], the annual event at the end of summer vacation, "Tsukiji Children's Center Summer Festival" was held. It was a hot Sunday, but more children and their families rushed more than usual. Everyone seems to be spending a lot of summer vacation, many children are tanned, and after all, they have a good face.
At the venue, children's performances were performed at the “Opening / Ending Ceremony”, and “Water gun shooting” and “Origami classroom” were set up as play experience corners. In addition, a meal booth was set up, and "Yakisoba" and "Shaved Ice" were provided. Many children, from the upper grades of elementary school to infants, spent a good day.
Children are the treasures of the region. I feel that the smile and cheer show the development and happiness of the town. The summer vacation will soon be over and the second semester will begin. I pray that the memories of this summer will be written on one page of their growth for a long time.
More Summer vacation will soon be over

The London Olympics, which was celebrated with the most medals in history of Japanese athletes, ended on the 12th, and a parade of medalists was held on Chuo-dori in Ginza, Chuo-ku, before noon on the 20th.
It was a great crowd.
On the other hand, the "London Olympics Magazine Bulletin Photo Exhibition" is also being held at Canon Gallery Ginza in Ginza 3-chome from 20th to 29th, displaying photographs taken by representative photographers of the Japan Magazine Association.
It seems that loud cheers can be heard from each piece that cut out the dramatic moments of the players.
The enthusiasm and excitement of the Olympics, which I kept watching live every night without regard to summer batter and lack of sleep, is revived.

Speaking of tug-of-war, it is a standard event of the athletic meet, but few people know the tug-of-war as a sport with official rules.
A national convention for such a tug-of-war competition was held at Chuo-ku Sports Center on August 19 (Sun).
Because it is a tug-of-war tournament, when I enter the venue that "Oes" would be loud and friendly and excited ...
Eight players in each team hold the rope silently, and everyone stops at the same posture = a sharp angle just falling down. What are you doing? ?
However, if you look closely, it sometimes moves little by little ...
What! In the middle of the competition! This was a classic attitude to pull the rope, and every team was dressed in the same way.
A game development that can not be imagined from the athletic meet tug of war, power Osako! I was very excited.
In addition, the tournament has not only championships, but also general teams and elementary school students, and this is a standard tug-of-war game, but everyone was serious, probably influenced by the next championship.
In the general section, those who are usually proud of their strength also participated, and it was a fun battle to watch, such as uniforms of cat marks and fire precautions.
In the elementary school section, in addition to the Kendo Boys and Fire Boys in Chuo-ku, teams from Kesennuma also participated. Moreover, the Kesennuma team won the championship! It was a great success for the Great East Japan Earthquake Reconstruction Support Competition.
In addition, at the exhibition, "Miss Chuo" and wrestlers in the local sumo room compete with children, and outside the venue, there is also a stall village with Tohoku specialty products, etc. Was full of people.
This tug-of-war festival is scheduled to be held next year.
By all means, why don't you visit the venue next year and enjoy a slightly different tug of war?

In the west "Hot Koshien", which started on the 8th, Ebizo-san struggles early in the theater this month! The topic "Date's Ten Roles" is opening. I went out immediately with a friend of "Shrimp Life".
The great success of "Thank you very much." At the beginning of the opening, Ebizo in front of the panel of 10 roles played in the background divided into "good" and "bad" in the background, "Hajimomijiase no Kaomi" (Hajimomijiase no Kaomi) means "I will explain the face that has turned red like autumn leaves by changing the ten roles quickly while sweating." He plays the ten roles of "deceiving, deceived", "slaughter", "cutting, judge", so if you tighten the daily "10 times cheering", you can see that the hall will be excited with the expectation of "10 times cheering".
This kyogen was written by the north and south by a combination of "Kara predecessor Hagi" and "Kaidan no Kaidan" based on the Date riot known as the three major riots in Edo. It was played in 1815 (1815) and played 10 roles such as Daijin Masaoka, Danki Dansei, and Katsumotoju Hosokawa. After that, the performance was discontinued, and the predecessor Sarunosuke revived in Meijiza in 1979, and since then it has become one of Sarunosuke's favorite roles. Ebizo played his first role in 2010 and replayed for the first time in 2 years and 7 months. In the second time, the early replacement was used to drifting stones and I don't know when it was changed. It is thought that it will be really tough physically because it will change 10 roles almost 50 times in a play close to 4 hours, but it is somewhat fun and easy to spare, from Dotetsu on the bank in the shape of a monk to Daio Takao , From Niki Dansei to Katsumoto, the judge role, and finally to the air ride. Early replacement is the main, so it is digested conveniently and it is not exactly the same as the story of "Hagi" or "Aggregation", but it is guaranteed that you can enjoy it.
Please take a look at the stage of Ebizo who blows away the remaining heat. This month, "Fumiaki Azuma Sakurahime" here Fukusuke and Ainosuke will co-star at noon in the north and south kyogen. Senakiraku will be held on the 23rd.

This is a group of works by Midori Yoshio. A wonderful piece of paper clay is on display.
There were many cute works, and many of the writers were serious about listening to the opinions of visitors.
You can also hear the explanation of the work from the artist. I've been asking you to come comfortably.
Please feel free to visit. The Miller Gallery is next to Hotel Monterey.
